Rubbish. Rubbish. Rubbish.
Their car park payment systems are often broken, so you can't buy a ticket, then they fine you, then they turn down your appeal and then they won't refer you to the, laughingly called, Independent Appeals Service - so you have no redress.
What a racket.
In my case I wasn't able to buy a £1 ticket, next thing I got a very intimidating letter saying I had to pay a £60 fine within 2 weeks - or the fine would increase to £100. Oh and the appeals process would take 4 weeks. They didn't look at my appeal, as they said paying the fine was an admission of liability and they refused to refer me to the Independent Appeals Service.
Rubbish, but they're laughing all the way to the bank aren't they?

We received a PCN from this company whilst parking at Zizzis in Loughton. We did not feel that the PCN was correct so we appealed by letter. This letter was sent via Royal Mail signed for, and Royal Mail have confirmed delivery of the appeal letter.
We have heard nothing regarding the success or failure of the appeal. Instead we have just received a letter from a debt collector threatening us with court action unless we pay £170, the original fine was £100, but only £60 if paid in 14 days.
Effectively they has ignored the appeal letter have not even bothered to reject the appeal. They have gone to the debt collectors straightaway. This is a money grabbing stunt nothing else be warned!
I have tried to phone Gemini many time but have not been able to speak to a human.

This is the most dreadful company.
They got my registration wrong - I was 200 miles away for a ticket I've been given and they won't let me contest it or pay it. Now I have a debt collection agency after me. For a mistake they made. I can prove I was 200 miles away with a hotel bill, transactions on my account, photos on my phone and tickets to a comedy venue in Brighton. If anyone knows any of the directors names and contact info please let me know.
Has anyone had any success with legal action against this company? They cannot keep doing this to people!

We received a parking ticket and subsequent threatening letters from this company, which has now progressed to debt collectors being involved.

All of the above despite providing them with my purchased parking ticket for the period that they are trying to scam me out of money for.

We contacted them via email, providing all of the evidence, only to be told that we had to do it online via their website. We have tried on numerous occasions to access the appeals process and keep getting the same message that the details are not found.

We have also sent three separate emails to the company, all of which have been ignored.

This has now been going on since June of 2022, with today being the cut off date for us to pay a fine of £170 (against a parking ticket fee of 50pence), to the debt collectors.

Scandalous and horrible company with no customer service at all.

I received a batch of parking tickets dated 2021 a few days ago and called this company. I spoke to a nice lady, Samantha who was very prompt with her action and cancelled them immediately due to a technical error with their system. To say I was pleased, is an understatement, as I know these companies can be brutal. I was horrified to receive them as I was not aware of parking illegally. Samantha sent an email to me today confirming all PCNs were cancelled and no further action will be taken. Thank you.

September they tried to fine my husband but luckily, he had kept his ticket. October, I had a rental with enterprise and had remembered to keep my ticket. I will be forwarding the admin fee of £35 to Gemini. They should not be allowed to get away with this, the amount of people who probably chuck away their tickets. Awful scam.

We had an issue as a Blue Badge holder having received a fine for parking at the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
We appealed and, while not accepting an error, the company upheld our appeal.
We appreciate the consideration on this occasion (but will be writing to Lee Valley about their signage !).

Parked at Waltham Forest Feel Good Center. Paid for 2 hours parking. Received parking fine with photographic evidence that I arrived at 10:40 and left at 12:29. I appealed and shared proof of payment for 2 hours on the date in question. My appeal was rejected despite sharing proof of payment to Gemini Parking Solutions for the correct amount on the correct date. Really disappointing and will avoid any parking places managed by this company for fear of being fined again despite purchasing a ticket!

Gemini manage a car park at our local gym. They changed the way they ran it, and I incurred two parking tickets in rapid succession. I appealed, and they dropped them without any fuss at all.

We parked in a location and the driver of this company vehicle never had a smart phone to make the payment, he called our office and we were able to make the payment 20mins later when someone arrived who had access to the ringo app, however we received a penalty charge notice in the interim period, however after an explanation and an appeal, Gemini parking cancelled the penalty charge notice, Thank you for this we appreciate your understanding,

I received a notice for parking at a leisure centre in Cardiff. I appealed the notice and received a reply very quickly. I appreciated the quick reply, the fact they considered my circumstances and cancelled the parking notice.

Unlike other car parking Apps, there is no notification on Gemini's Y-Pay App that you are approaching the end of your parking period. Nor is there any facility to extend your parking period.

The only thing they appear to be good at is posting huge £100 fines (reduced to £60 if you pay quickly)

I made an error with my parking at a Better leisure centre Cardiff and received a parking fine.
There were particular circumstances and so I appealed.
Although I was technically in the wrong they understood the circumstances and dropped the charge.

We were recently sent a 'You have not paid your parking fee and you need to pay us £60 or it will increase to £100' letter. As it happened we had paid, demonstrated that, and the threat was promptly withdrawn. Dealing with our response was efficient. I'll give three stars for that.

However, first of all, you are assumed to be guilty even if you are not - whatever happened to innocence before proven guilty? And then two lessons from this adventure: always pay by credit card rather than coins because then you will have a record of having paid, and keep your little ticket for at least a week or so afterwards. Without those things we could not have proved we had paid even though we had.

Not a pleasant experience even when you are vindicated.

Recently purchased a property comes with both resident and visitor parking bays managed by this company. The previous owner lost the parking permit, and I only received a digital copy from the solicitor. Tried to contact Gemini Parking to re-issue the parking permit, no one ever answer the call - which makes me have to print the digital permit by using my printer. The property needs to have refurbishment before we can move in, I gave the parking permit to my builders.

This morning, I paid a visit to the property to discuss things with the builders. My car was parked in an off road visitor bay, which the space is technically owned by the property freeholder and leaseholders. Saw the guy issue PCN on my car, ran down stairs trying to explain to him that I am the resident, he told me to submit the appeal from their website.

Made the appeal straight after the conversation, only few minutes later received their rejection. It is a tough time for everyone, but it doesn't mean you can make money out of local resident without doing your job properly at the first place!! I wish you closing down with the ridiculous service you provide.

The company answered very quickly to an appeal I submitted after receiving a Parking Charge Notice. They understood my point (not listed among the standard ones eligible for appeal) and accepted my explanation cancelling the charge. I was waiting for a polite answer, but not so quickly, and whatever would it have been the answer, it would have been well accepted just because of their courtesy. But they even accepted my appeal, which formally was not due at all, and this was very welcome to me.

Parking ticket was automatically issued because we'd exceeded our time - but our appeal was acknowledged and accepted promptly and courteously. Thanks.
