Fantastic service from consultation to delivery of my household furniture. Due to a new work opportunity I moved from Auckland to Melbourne. My consultation was thorough, with all costs given up front, how the process works, pickup/delivery ETA's...My furniture was all carefully boxed up, wrapped and loaded onto truck efficiently and quickly and I was happy with the workmanship. The shipping ETA that I was given from the start of the process was accurate and was a bonus that the storage once it was received in Melbourne was cost effective, as I didn't move into my new place for 3 weeks (after my furniture cleared aussie customs). Delivery of my furniture was on time, delivered with care, unpackaged and placed where I wanted it, and all packaging was taken away. I really appreciate the service I got from Grace, it made the move so much easier for me, they really took a lot of stress out of my move. People asked me how did I get on with the move to Melbourne - 'easiest move ever'..... Highly recommend Grace. A special shout out must go to the pickup/delivery crews in both Auckland & Melbourne who couldn't of been more top notch. Cheers.

I recommend Grace Removals 100%. Their quotation was very competative and the service very professional. Every step of the way from the initial meeting with the Sales Representative to the packers and unpackers was a pleasure. Thank you Grace Removals for making our move so easy.

My partner chose Grace for our move from Auckland to Melbourne. We were really pleased with the guys who packed us up and their atttude was first class. We also had a simialr experience in Melbourne where the team leader was very calm and patient. We would recommend grace for a move from New Zealand to Australia.

Our container docked on the 3rd of Feb in Tauranga. The 5th we received an email the containers its on its way to Auckland and will take 10 to 15 working days for our stuff to be delivered. It over a month now with no container and a lot of excuses everyday. The most pathetic service ever seen. Will never recommend anybody not to use Crace Removels NZ.

Dreadful service. A box was lost, the delivery people admitted it, and despite numerous phone calls and being shuffled all around the office and having promises that someone would call us back, no one ever did. Will never use Grace again and would never recommend anyone did.

Very professional, very nice polite men who were very careful with my furniture and very helpful.

Initial quote full of promise. Upload and offload team very good. All other internal processes and communication very poor, resulting in delays which added significantly to our costs. Some compensation was given but only for extra accomodation in Christchurch. General manager admitted company failure and mistake. We made our feelings very clear in an email, I have written several reviews. No one has contacted me to follow up and I still feel we have been let down. It would be remiss of me not to share this so the company can make adjustments to their business model.

Very good service, friendly and no rush. The Team at ‘Grace’ well done we’re very happy w the move from NZ to lovely Australia. Would recommend anytime to anyone!

The Aussie delivery boys, Bobby and Leroy were brilliant.....unfortunately the NZ side of things has caused us all sorts of grief.

They re-packed boxes and appear to have lost important parts....this may not be the case though however I HAVE to open EVERY SINGLE box now to find out.

The emergency stop cord from our treadmill has gone (somewhere) which means I now have to tape down the emergency stop switch which defeats the purpose of the switch, we have no idea where the base for our TV is (we may have to mount it on the wall if we can't find it) I put specific, important parts for my home gym in a specific box which now appears to have been re-packed somewhere (hopefully I can find it otherwise my gym is now useless) and worst of all, my $3000 home theatre projector was in the middle of a box marked "linen"??????

There were NO DAMAGES and for that I thank you, however the weekend will now be all about looking for items that should never have disappeared.

All in all though, I WOULD recommend Grace as we have used many companies and overall, these guys ARE very good.

Good:
- Great communication before the pick up.
- Great packaging done by the staff.

Not so good:
- Lack of communication after goods have been picked. Inquired about the estimated delivery date, unfortunately no response until today.

I was highly recommend grace removals for their speedy and efficient work. However I was disappointed with the 2 movers I got , they were more interested in making beds out of my outdoor lounge cushions and smoking.

They were fantastic. My friend has just had them move them out to Rolleston and said they were amazing nothing is a problem for them.

Delivered with no problems and no damage. SImple and clean.

If you are thinking about using Grace DON'T!
We decided to use Grace cause the sales guy seemed super genuine.. told us that Graces point of difference was the aftercare service and how they go above and beyond. Well let me tell you that couldn't be further from the truth.

- It started with the guys packing our furniture. They book this across 2 days but they told us to lie if anyone asked and they would just get it done in 1 day. It ended up taking them 5 hrs.. however they ran out of steam and left boxes of tiles and flooring and missed sections in the kitchen that we had to pack ourselves.
-They dismantled things that really didnt need to be. We were bring back some french doors they removed the door handles and we couldnt locate the screws.
- They also couldn't be bothered to take any of the tape, boxes and paper so we were left trying to get rid of massive loads of rubbish.
- Next They also didn't bring enough TV boxes. So they said they would tell the guys that pack the shipping container. They arrived the next day and had no communication from the previous team.. so we had to put the TV in normal packing boxes.
- Next they promise you 3-4 weeks transit time. They also don't tell you about the time it has to clear customs, This could be another 2-4 weeks.
- We had our moving day booked in.. they arrived 5 hours late as everyone was off sick that day.
- The moving guys were really nice and said that we don't need to get the movers to unpack if you don't want Grace will come back when ever we are ready and collect all our packing rubbish. We sent an email on 16/12 asking the contact if we could organise a collection, she then said that operations would be in touch. Well its now 8 weeks later. We have not been contacted ONCE from Grace, we have called spoken to staff.. we have sent 5 follow up emails.. and NOTHING.. 8 WEEKS of being unable to park our car in our carport due to us moving the boxes to stay out of the weather.
- The boxes now are housing cockroaches due to it being a warm damp place to hide.
- We also had multiple broken items but if you don't lodge this within the first 7 days its pretty much useless. They leave this out when they are selling you on the zero fee for making a claim on any damaged items

SO DO NOT LISTEN TO ALL THE PROMISES.

They truly have been the worst to deal with, not once has there been an attempt at trying to explain whats happening or why there is a delay or the steps moving forward. They simply ignore our emails.

Wouldn't recommend this beyond average business to ANYONE

Char was amazing as usual, and the removal guys were friendly, helpful and very efficient.

I was going to ring you tomorrow to express my appreciation for a fantastic job. your guys were brilliant, incredibly helpful and very careful with my fragile stuff of which there was quite a lot. you made my move a really easy and enjoyable experience. thank you very much for a fantastic job!

Excellent service all round.
Great crew on the truck very efficient and hard working.
No damages throughout the move.
