Thoroughly professional in their interactions with me

On the whole our pension investment set up was dealt with efficiently and professionally. On a couple of occasions some of the standard letters that were issued caused unnecessary anxiety but these issues were quickly dealt with.

It turned out good in the end and you were always quick to contact me but I felt I had to do a lot of chasing of my own to make it happen. some of the issues were due to my schemes administration. Some of the updates stating it would probably not be possible to complete 4 weeks into my three month window were a little stressful. It was only sorted right at the last minute but I am satisfied with the final result and everyone I dealt to was very professional.

Groves Pension Solutions provided a first class service. The first time I approached them, they recommended waiting 18 months before I proceeded to do a transfer of my DB pension. Their advice was correct, as my provider increased the final value significantly. They are always very efficient and their advice is easy to understand. Their charges reflect the work involved and were reasonable in comparison with some of the quotes I received. I would definitely recommend Grove's.

Pension transfer and cash sum release can be a time-consuming process, but Grove Pension Solutions' handling of my case was excellent. The whole experience was not made easy. The telephone conversation was like an interrogation with the feeling I could not do what I wanted to do with my money. It has taken a year to sort out and I have potentially lost a lot of money due to grove not acting in a concise manner all as I believe they did not agree with my decision. My advise is do not use and find someone else to use. Made the whole thing unnecessarily stressful!!

You failed to listen to my reasons for change, focusing only on a like for like policy cost when changing from guaranteed benefits to personal pension, even when the guaranteed benefit was not suitable for my personal circumstance. Your response that the financial sector does not recommend moving from a guaranteed policy shows me that you did not view my circumstances but relied only on someone else's recommendations.
