I ordered Conservatory roof blinds. All paid up front and a delivery date was confirmed.
I called 2 days before to check what time slot we'd been allotted for fitting.
Blinds had not been delivered to the installer and my appointment on 8th July was cancelled. No idea when the blinds will arrive.
Unacceptably poor. Never again. order CNH3921
Terrible Customer Service
I'd like to be writing a review of my blinds but that would mean that someone actually bothered to phone me to book in the installation.
A month and a half after the initial installation date, still absolutely nothing from them. I was initially told installation would be the middle of May, this was then moved to early June, that was cancelled and now I'm being told that the installer has had the blinds for a week and a half and should have contacted me when he took delivery but, still nothing. I'm having to phone customer service everyday but get absolutely nowhere. Constantly told that he will phone me but surprise, surprise the call never happens.
I understand that there can be delays but, all I ask if for some communications. The service so far has been dreadful and knowing what I know now, I would certainly have gone elsewhere.
Also - I'd give them 0 stars if it'd let me!!

Came and patiently went through choices , we ordered Blind for around house and conservatory also curtains for lounge and Dining room he was very patient and helpful, came to fit on date we decided and was efficient polite and extremely professional no complaints at all and pleased with quality and choices .
Completely pathetic and unreliable…
Completely pathetic and unreliable company. Had three advisors cancel the consultation on me now. Three times i had to take early finishes at work to make it for these and they cancelled. The first one was the worst of the lot. Guy called Aman Sohal from Leicester. Complete no show, no courtesy call or text or an apology. Second was a guy called jonathan phillip who cancels on me the same morning saying hes not trained to do blind screens which i want. Said out of courtesy he would rearrange a new appointment with someone else, that never happened. Had to go on the website and rebook it myself. Third guy wont say his name as im unsure how true his story is but apparently someones passed away in his family. Is this a common theme or occurence? Doesnt matter how good your blinds are if you cant even get someone trustworthy to even come down. Completely unreliable and joke of a company, or maybe just the people they hire who are Leicester based. Cost me half a days wage three times now. Absolutely fuming.
I'm starting to think theres something a little bit more sinisiter going on here. Workers on fixed daily wages, not on commission bases? Saying they attend their appointments yet customers not interested in blinds? Also how can you send out an advisor whos not fully trained in everything is absolutely beyond me. What if i didnt do my due dilligence and message is personal number which was provided on the email. I'd have someone show up at my door who cant even do what id take time off work for. Really really pathetic hillarys do better.

Awful company didn’t show up for appointment or call to say we have to cancel it , called head office 5 weeks to get another appointment, go to a small. Company that cares as Hilary’s has shocking service .

Absolutely appalling experience with Hillarys Blinds.
My appointment was booked between 3pm–6pm, yet I received a call saying the advisor would arrive in 45 minutes — completely outside the agreed window. That’s not how appointments work.
To make matters worse, I was addressed as “Mr” despite being female, which is basic customer detail they should be able to get right. I cancelled immediately as it was both inconvenient and unprofessional.
Customer service only made things worse. I was told I somehow have two accounts (with no explanation), and the advisor’s tone was dismissive and brusque throughout. Even after correcting my title multiple times, she continued to get it wrong — which felt careless at best and disrespectful at worst.
When I challenged her attitude, she deflected and accused me of being rude instead of taking any accountability. At that point it was clear she had no intention of resolving anything.
I had to call back a second time just to get a complaint logged.
Disorganised, unprofessional, and surprisingly poor attention to basic customer respect. Not a great look for a company that’s meant to offer a premium service.

So far all this company has done is take money, blinds do not arrive for the fitter and there is no urgency or interest from their customer service. Not a complex job nor was it a rush order.

Had a great visit this morning from Stuart a who will be fitting my shutters. He was very professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked very efficiently measuring my windows and thoroughly went through my order with me to ensure l was happy with everything prior to submitting it. From my initial contact and visit with Hillary’s Advisor Kim who was also great, to today’s visit from Stuart I have been extremely happy and impressed with their service.
I would most definitely recommend and feel very reassured that my shutters will be fitted by Stuart and he’ll do a great job.

Garry from Hillary Blinds came at my request to measure up my windows, he was extremely polite and friendly. He let me choose the blinds and explained that as I was having three windows done I would get a discount. I have used Hillary Blinds before, they are a good firm and employ excellent staff, I would not go anywhere else.

Paul(119436) made a wonderful job of fitting our blind. He was on time at both appointments. He was careful, considerate and helpful. We could not fault him.
Not a pushy salesman
David Richardson came to discuss options for blinds for our 14 foot window that I can set to operate automatically when I am away in winter. He brought samples and discussed with us the options. He was pleasant, helpful and not pushy. He measured up and we chose from the samples, he gave us a price and following a reasonable reduction. He advised me of the different payment options and I chose to pay 50% deposit and the balance on fitting. I would recommend this guy.

The fitter called Seb Krotke arrived promptly as agreed at 0930 and worked non stop till the job was finished at 1930. He was both pleasant and polite throughout the day and diligent with his hoover clearing any dust and bits he had to produce. His finished product was first class in all respects.
Excellent rep for the company.
Rather long delivery time and pre payment expected by the company.
15 months and still counting
Been 15 months so far and still waiting for installation to be completed (new shutters ordered for 3rd time June 2025). Currently have temp shutters with a 2 inch gap all round. No updates given and zero customer service. Would not recommend this company to anyone
