Have ordered blinds around two months ago, had a fitting date which was cancelled 2 days before being fitted saying they didn't have them, although we have them three weeks notice. Hilary didn't call back to make another appiontment. My wife has emailed and phoned several times only to be told the fitter will call her back three times now. Still no call. They have £400 of our money!!!

Absolutely dreadful customer service. My Mother placed an order on 22nd February and paid a £750 deposit and got an installation date of 27th March. We heard nothing after so contacted the company to be told her deposit had been allocated to another order. It took them over a week to sort out and then gave an installation date of 23rd April! Order now cancelled.

I get anxious towards anyone coming in my home, friends or strangers. I found him pleasant, honest and not pushy. He came back today to fit my blinds. Not gonna lie they’re awesome, can’t wait till it becomes dark. I have had an operation to remove a brain tumour and I do shy away from humans, dogs I’m all over. He’s genuinely honest and Hilary Blinds are lucky to have a loyal employee. Much Respect From Julie and My Pack.

and you did not get a response from me .3 Emails which never came back address unable to send I think very strange. Worried about the other 2 blinds now.

After putting a bad review and a representative coming back to get in touch .. I’ve done this but still no contact and still waiting for someone to come and fix my blinds .. will take things further now .. not acceptable!!

Stay away. Blinds are four years old have been opened and closed a dozen times and cost around £400. They no longer pull up or down straight. When phoning in for help, even though we are out of the 2 year warranty period and we offered to pay for a technician to come and look about repairing them, they said they weren't interested. They said the best thing they can do is sell us a new pair. Waste of money. Please find a company who actually cares about you and your planet.

Have just had blinds fitted by Adviser Dexter 116250. From the word go he was polite and helpful. I had him for the initial consultation and measuring to the final fitting. I would highly recommend this adviser. Blinds look great and I am happy with the overall service.

Made an appointment for their agent to visit. Received a message the day before to confirm the appointment. No agent turned up. No apology

Overpriced poor quality blinds. Salesman initially got the measurements wrong andvone of the finger tabs has broken with no seeing way of repair. Next time would look elsewhere!;

This is a review for fitter Ryan 117677 who came to our home today to correct the poor fitting on a shutter done twice by a previous fitter. Ryan was professional, articulate and very knowledgeable. His attention to detail was outstanding and his work was first class! If you are thinking of shutters for your home I STRONGLY recommend requesting this fitter for the measuring and installation. Thanx Ryan, I wish we'd had you first time round. A++++++++++

I recently sought advice about blackout blinds for my bedroom (which has patio doors and unusually shaped windows) from Andy Loton (119058). He was very helpful and, more importantly, honest and realistic about about what to expect from these products ie I wouldn't get 100% light block out due to a few millimeters of light seepage around the edges.
I did however go ahead and order the blinds and have been really impressed with their effectiveness and look forward to a warmer bedroom in the winter months due to their insulating properties.

Where to start… we had a nice chap come to the house to look at several rooms for blinds - 2 x roman for bedroom, 2 x venician for the utility room, and 2 x roller blinds for the velux windows in the en suite. When they finally arrived for fitting the velux blinds were the wrong size entirely, the Roman blinds were fitted so badly they’re almost impossible to open and close, and the bracket that secured the venician blind on the door broke as soon as I looked at it (the fitter said “these brackets break all the time” so gave me several spares - they ALL broke!). I ended up fixing it myself with a thin strip of velcro which is doing a fine job. So we were less than impressed but waited for the call from Hillary’s customer care… when the call finally came weeks later they refused to a) acknowledge our disappointment and b) even consider some sort of recompense. To say he was a bit surly is putting it mildly. We then waited another 6 weeks for the replacement velux blinds to be made, and when they were fitted (ie after our plastic frames were drilled full of holes) the fitter discovered they didn’t work - they wouldn’t retract. According to the fitter they are “total crap” and we should have gone direct to Velux. He removed them at my request and bunged the holes with plastic caps. He also suggested that our only course of action is to leave an “honest review” on Trustpilot as that’s the only way of getting Hillary’s attention. So here we are! Hillary’s - we are pissed off! We’ve spent a shed load of money and we are sooo disappointed with the results - expensively crap blinds, poorly fitted, awful customer service. We’ll never buy from here again, ever. If you have any sense, neither will you.
