Really excellent. Ordered a cheap concertina. A key broke and it just wasn’t of the quality I wanted. Thought I would have to deal with all sorts of annoying nonsense to sort this out because that is the modern experience but honestly the online and London store teams were SO helpful and responsive. I now have a concertina that’s ideal and the whole thing was sorted in such a smooth and pleasant way. I’ve bought things from Hobgoblin before as well and had no issues.

Hobgoblin always have the accessories I need for my bass and 2-row accordion. Their products are first class, their prices are competitive and their delivery is fast and secure.

The staff were very helpful on the phone while I was trying to find a left handed bouzouki (which are very unusual). In the end, with their help, I chose a right handed one that was easy to modify myself as it had a floating bridge and a zero fret. It was delivered very quickly, it was really well packed and it only took me an hour to change it to a lefty.

Hobgoblin are the go to shop when you need something that’s not always accessible in your run of the mill music shop. You can usually speak to a musician with an inquiry that doesn’t involve the words “Gibson or Fender”or a conversation about a musical instrument with less than 6
strings. I’m not sure what we would do without Hobgoblin, they’re an institution.
