Very sturdy case and my tenor uke fits perfectly but front pocket not quite big enough for my iPad.

It's a lovely place to lose yourself in sound, amateur or professional. It was nice to feel welcome to try the various instruments. And the staff were happy to explain anything. Great place!

I bought a rather lovely Weissenborn guitar for my wife for her birthday. We had spent some days looking for the right one and Hobgoblin (who my wife knew of but I had never heard of) had just the thing and at a great price. I ordered it just before lunch on her actual birthday (12.45 on 9th July)and we (i.e. She who must be obeyed) decided to go for the free 3 to 5 day delivery. We sat back to wait the alloted time but lo and behold, the next morning (at 10.50am) we had a delivery, to our amazement it was the guitar and not the package I was actually expecting, well within 24 hours from ordering. I was astounded and my wife was over the moon to get her present so early. I have to say that customer service like that is rare and based on my first experience of Hobgoblin I will be using them again rather than the local 'chain' music shops. My wife and I are both extremely pleased with our choice of seller. BRAVO HOBGOBLIN!

I had wanted to try out this instrument in their Brighton store, but it was the hottest day of the year and so I decided to buy online instead. This was easy to do and I paid extra to have a 1-2 day delivery as it was in stock in the warehouse. My only negative is that I never got a further email (after the initial order confirmation) to tell me when it was coming and so it was pure luck that I was in when it arrived. Other than that the service was excellent.

I received a whistle that was not voiced correctly, contacted Hobgoblin who issued an immediate refund and sent a friendly message. Impressive!

the whistles arrived very fast and are great however - the bubble envelop was torn and the plastic cases were a little squashed at the corners. a cardboard box is safer for overseas shipping for sure

Getting through to the right site took longer than expected but once there the whole experience went smoothly overall I’m happy with Hobgoblin and delivery was nice and quick. I would recommend them if you require items for your accordion.

My item arrived within a few days and I was very pleased with the item.

Great website easy to navigate with great products for musicians. Delivery service has been quick and packages well boxed for protection. Can’t fault Hobgoblin for anything and would use again.

Hi, I live in Portugal and due to a lack of stock at Hobgoblin and the added transit times it took an extra few weeks to receive my order, but I was kept in the loop by the team at Hobgoblin and the goods arrived safe and sound. I am most pleased with the pipe chanter reeds, they are very good. Thank you for your support. I will be back next time I need a restock.

I closed my accordion business last year and I was left without an accordion which was the right quality and right size.
After researching I discovered a second hand Fantini Allodi 72 bass 4 voice in mint condition so after sending and receiving several emails Mark the manager sent me a video of himself playing the Fantini.
That was it I purchased it late Monday and they sent it out to me on Tuesday and I received it on Wednesday what great service.
It was very well packaged with the bass side internally packed as I used to do when I sent out accordions to my clients. For once I was a private customer dealing with Mark at Hobgoblin in Birmingham and I am living in Scotland.
So folks do not hesitate dealing with this company as they have the same values as myself when I was in business.

I'm writing this review much later than intended, but Hobgoblin Music staff were so helpful to me last Christmas and I need to celebrate that! I was going to pop into their London Fitzrovia shop to buy a specific harmonica for my brother's Christmas present, so I phoned in advance and they helpfully told me that they didn't have it in stock but that it would be straightforward to order from their website. I placed the order easily, but was a bit surprised there was only one delivery fee option that was pricey. I decided to proceed because my brother really wanted the item plus I wanted to support an independent music business, and soon after I placed my order, without prompting, I received an apology about the high delivery fee and a refund of the difference. The communication was excellent and I'd definitely use them again. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Recommend 100%.

Huge shout out to every person I interacted with on my instrument buying journey in the Canterbury branch, from Liz who endured about half an hour of questions without a sale, to Tony who tuned up my guitar and endured even more questions, and the brilliant luthier that helped my wife with her first violin.
