Switched my website to them because I wanted to support Canadian. I am extremely disappointed. I was being charged a monthly fee for better security, which I didn't ask for and I personally think if they are concerned about security they shouldn't be charging for it! Also I find out, because I have to rebuild my website they only allow to pages if you want more you have to pay $160 more per year. they just love nickel-and-diming you. If I had known this before I wouldn't have made the switch to host papa! and now its past the 30 day money back guarantee! 😡

The security service you mentioned, Papacare, is an opt-in add-on that's selected during checkout, and it's listed as free for the first month on the order form. The service is fully covered under our 30-day money-back guarantee. If you'd like to have it cancelled and refunded, please get back to us on Ticket #975716. You may also submit a cancellation request from your HostPapa Dashboard -> My Services, if you would prefer.
Regarding your website, based on our checks, it was built using Weebly, which is a proprietary platform, meaning it can only be edited and managed through Weebly itself and can't be migrated as an editable site into a standard hosting environment. As a result, you would need to create a new website in order to be able to make further edits.
The website builder included with your hosting plan supports up to 2 pages, which is listed under the plan's included features, and upgrading to a higher-tier plan would give you room for more. In light of this, please know that you are not limited to the website builder service included with your web hosting service. You can install WordPress or another CMS at no extra cost through the Softaculous Apps Installer in your cPanel, which would give you more flexibility and pages without needing to upgrade your hosting package.

No refund possible after service canceletion.
We've been tricked into a 3 year deal. Nobody ask as if we need or want it. When we had to cancel the service after 2 years we didn't get any refund.

We located your account and can confirm your web hosting plan was renewed for a 3-year term in 2024, as this was the selected term upon signing up.
We received your refund request in July 2026; however, your plan is not eligible for a refund at this time. Per our Terms of Service, which were agreed to at signup, a hosting plan automatically renews at the originally selected billing term unless we're notified otherwise before the renewal date.
