Bad luck or a bad system…
Unfortunately everything that could go wrong with the order went wrong. The staff were so helpful and kind but something in the system meant that my order was delivered to my billing address not the shipping address and it was a nightmare to have it delivered correctly. I still haven't seen the product as it arrived after I had left. So, difficult to review!

Unfortunately, on multiple occasions DPD delivered the parcel to the billing address rather than the amended delivery address. We appreciate that this was incredibly inconvenient and, while it was ultimately an issue with the courier, as you purchased the product from us, it is our responsibility to take this up with DPD on your behalf.

Quadrato Nero Black Window Frame Mirror - poor quality
Quadrato Nero Black Window Frame Mirror £289.00
I purchased this mirror from Housing Units a few days ago. It was a struggle to get it home in my car, as it's 180cm tall. When unpacked, to my dismay I have discovered that the backing ply-board sheet, which sits behind the mirror is all warped. It looks like it's been affected by being sat in a damp warehouse for a prolonged period. I just don't have the ability to pack it all up and return it back to Housing Units in my car. So I am going to have to keep it and just hope the mirror does not start to tarnish prematurely.
The quality certainly does not reflect the high end price I paid.
Therfore right now, I would not recommend this mirror to any other customer and suggest you stay clear.
This package should have been quality checked by Housing Units before supplying.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that, upon unpacking your Quadrato Nero Black Window Frame Mirror, you found the backing board to be warped. We appreciate that, given the size of the mirror, returning it to the store in your vehicle would also be difficult.
We would, however, like the opportunity to investigate this further and resolve the matter for you. Please contact our Customer Care Team with your order number, photographs of the mirror and backing board, and any other information you feel may be relevant. They will be able to advise on the next steps and discuss the options available to you.
For reassurance, the most recent batch of these mirrors was delivered to us in June, so they have not been held in our warehouse for a prolonged period. We have also sold a number of these mirrors and, to date, have not received any similar feedback regarding the backing board.
As the issue was only identified once the mirror was unpacked, we would also assume that the external packaging showed no obvious signs of damage or exposure to damp at the time of collection. That said, we take your concerns seriously and would like to establish what has happened and ensure the matter is properly addressed.
We are sorry that the quality of the mirror has not met your expectations, particularly given the price paid, and we hope our Customer Care Team can put this right for you.

Didn't have the item in stock
I ordered an item on-line. I didn't get any confirmation email so I had to phone the store as the money had been taken from my card. I was told the order had gone through and it was ready for collection.
When I arrived there was no item to collect, it wasn't at the distribution centre either. Fortunately a very pleasant manager sorted out a substitute for me as they actually didn't have the item I ordered in stock. I expected better from HU.

Lovely new furniture
When I went to Housing Units in June this year I bought a sideboard to sit my TV onto. When it was set up it looked ok. In July I went back to Housing Units and found a lowboard which was actually designed to hold a TV and all the equipment they come with & because it matched my sideboard I bought it. My TV is now sitting on a proper stand and my sideboard holds a lamp and some photographs and they look great. I was also very happy at how much money I saved through buying when they have a sale. The staff at HU are very helpful, they told me about the delivery service and how the furniture is assembled when it arrives. I would definitely shop at Housing Units again.
