Really expensive photos for really poor quality. I have suffered this for many years while my children have gone through primary school. Each year the photos are more expensive, my kids are in weird poses, and you cannot mix and match photos of your own children in to the same purchase. You are restricted to buying ridiculous "packs" (I mean who needs 24 passport photos/ bookmarks of your kids, just to get the one large photo that you want), you can't just buy one photo of each child and mix them together oh no if you have multiple children in the same school prepare to be shafted.
I am doing my best to influence our school to find another photography company that is not a massive scam.

To all the schools out there... please dont ruin our kids pics by using these guys 🙏🏽 ruined my kids nursery pics for xmas

Absolutely ridiculous school photo company. Instead of being able to mix and match multiple photos into any package, you are limited to their specific range of packages. I don't know who needs 28 prints of the one single photo, but I doubt most parents do. If you want a pack that allows you to print all 3 of the photos they have taken of your child in one pack it costs £45 (and that's with their discout). And the photo sizes are impossible to find frames for. Ever heard of 6x4 or 8x6? Apparently Tempest haven't. Not to mention that to digitally download - not print, just download - 3 photos, costs £36. What a scam. This is my second time having to have my child's school photos taken with this company and I have since rang the school to ask them to please never use them again.

If a person has a professional camera in his hands, this does not give him the right to call himself a professional photographer. As a mother of a charming daughter, I am absolutely dissatisfied with the photographs they took. I take much better photos on my phone in everyday life than they do. They don't tell a child how to sit down, how to pose, they don't straighten their hair. We have been waiting for this day for a couple of months, and we were so disappointed. And for these pseudo-professional photos they charge £23. For only one BAD PH010 23 GB!!! - They shouldn't be doing
such photo shoots, and if they do, they should do it properly, and not just anyhow.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are not professionals in this field.

I wonder if they even want any business. They don't respond to any reviews on here which speaks volumes and this is the company who tried to exclude special needs children from a whole school photo in Scotland (Google it ' national news).

Waited ages for frame. Received next day after filing a bank dispute as their switchboard was constantly closed. Frame arrived pre scratched, and of very poor cheap quality. Total waste of over £57!!! Avoid at all costs.

Just received my daughters first Nursery pictures and I'm flabbergasted that they can say a professional photographer took the pictures. Even my daughter age 3 could take better pictures.
Each picture the arms are cut in half, so you only see half elbow and half hand as she has her arms crossed.
Im not going to waste my money on this 2nd/3rd rate company thats not even worth a 1 star

Massively overpriced products which are restrictive in terms of the choices available. Their website is also dreadful; it recognised my email was already registered with them, but there was NO LOGIN button!
AVOID if possible, but if it's a graduation or school photo, they know they've got you as a captive client.

Photos taken and seen online were lovely. Ordered a canvas and 2 photos of my son’s nursery graduation, they arrived and their awful quality. I paid for mounts yet photos were not mounted. You have to do they yourself. The canvas isn’t very clear. Absolutely gutted

None of the photos came cut — something that wasn’t made clear at all during the ordering process. I expected finished prints, not sheets I would need to cut apart myself.

On top of that, the paper and print quality were far below what I anticipated. The prints looked dull, and the paper felt cheap — definitely not professional standard.

Ordered one so called borderless photo for £17 plus £5 postage. It wasn’t totally borderless, it had a one white border with a number along it. The paper the photo was on was very thin, absolutely no stiffness in the paper at all. Very poor quality for the price. In fact quite shocking. I gave 2 stars because it was delivered on time and in a sturdy cardboard envelope.

Their IT infra seems ok, I could reference the image after couple of years too. But their support is not upto the mark (it doesn't reflect the price they charge).

Say, I couldn't order of my kids school photo online and it says not available to order, but shows a quick preview :)

Further, I called them up and ordered for downloads. Friendly staffs. But just for digital copies, why they take days, I couldn't understand. And I need to call them to make things happen (luckily I used call in morning time and I get connected quickly)

not normally a person who leaves bad reviews however I am really disappointed of my daughter's first school picture. Awful quality, they did not even bother to cut off the edges and for this servise it is way too overpriced....... If I knew this I would have done by myself even though that I am not a photographer in a way much better quality at home with our printer and much cheaper money....

Terrible photography. Awful quality for professionally taken photos. My daughter who has brown hair and blue eyes in real life but if you look at her photo she now has ginger hair with green eyes. I was told by customer service that they colour edit school photos. It’s clear that they can’t professionally edit. They stated they only edit because of the lighting when taking the photos. If this was an actual professional photographer then they would not need to colour edit because they would get the lighting perfect when taking the photos. I would totally avoid purchasing from this company. You could take a better photo at home using your mobile.

Every year each class discusses how terrible photos are. We all want to buy a nice photo of out children in their school uniforms and see them grow through the years.
However, the photos are always at a terrible angle. My daughters hair covers half of her face, my sons eyes are barely open and the sibling photo is even worse.
I'm ashamed to say that I have bought a copy of the terrible photos at a hugely over priced cost as they mark important years for my children.
They will not be able to go on the wall due to the terrible standard.

Very disappointing

Absolute disgrace of a company. My son wears glasses and every photo has the rim of his glasses covering his eyes. Could have did a better job myself and having them in stupid looking poses. They are kids for gods sake. Also robbing people blind for the prints and in excess of £15 for a digital copy. A fiver would be too much for a digital email of a photo. Why do schools use these incompetent photographers

Overpriced, and packages deliberately put together so there's not enough photos of the size that you want. All seems quite manipulative. Customer service are unhelpful and uncooperative.

Minus 1 star would be better.

£60 for a £5 acrylic frame and the pictures don’t even fit it.
Just take your own pictures and print much easier and way way better.
I hope the schools make money out off these as the prices are rediculous

The pictures taken the first time were awful (for everyone, not just us), the website is really clunky and difficult to use and the price is extortionate. I’m buying these as gifts for grandparents who don’t live nearby. Am thinking of taking up photography myself as even without any training I feel I could do better.

What a joke of a website. Worst experience i have had before even getting a product. After seeing the other reviews not looking forward to getting my child's pictures. More importantly I'm very surprised school's even bother using you
