Utterly DISGUSTING Company to deal with!

I literally cannot comment enough on what an utter disgrace this company is. They do not reply to complaints, their builds are the shoddiest, cowboy new builds in the country and if you buy from them you’ll spend years correcting their mistakes.
They simply DON’T CARE!
Not only that - ANYONE in product quality is too scared to pick up a phone and actually take a phone call from someone - probably because they couldn’t employ enough staff to deal with the volume of complaints they receive!
To list a few of the problems I’ve had…
Leather jacket infestation present in the turf before installation.
Patio cracking and separating
Kitchen units falling apart.
Extractor fans not connected in the loft space
Kitchen extractor fan screwed into the cupboard sides?
Downstairs toilet leaking and fitted so close to the wall it can’t be worked on.
Windows falling apart
No drainage from en quite shower
The list goes on! They take no accountability, and their customer care is non-existent!
Avoid this lot like the plague!

If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would, I purchased my new home in Novemeber 2025 and up to this point I could find no fault, Then in January 2026 I had a problem Hyde product quality have done everything to get out of fixing the repair. It has been brought to my attention the fault is through materials used not up to standard.
Another review Hyde are trying to get removed, sorry I am also another unhappy customer.
Sill waiting for someone to contact to discuss, but as normal christmas will probably come first.

Disgusting service from product quality…

UPDATE : 2 DAYS SINCE HYDE REPLIED TO MY REVIEW AND STILL NO CONTACT. SEEMS ITS NOT JUST PRODUCT QUALITY THAT HAVE BAD SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE.
Disgusting service from product quality / repairs team. Deny repairs without seeing or speaking to the homeowner.Do not respond to questions raised, do not provide proof, external inspections take place without prior arrangements and not up to industry standards. Seriously damaging my mental health with the bully boy tactics avoid a Hyde home unless you are sure you have millionaires bank balance to back up all the problems with their builds. Be prepared for double standards between neighbours let alone on the estate. They do not fix mistakes made by their contractors and only listen to the contractors if it matches what they say.
They have now requested more information to try and get the review taken down as fraudulent. TOO BAD - THIS IS A REAL REVIEW FROM A REAL PERSON WHO HAS HAD THIS EXTREMELY REAL EXPERIENCE. Just goes to show HYDE for the cowards they really are, and the cowboy builders they work with.
As you can see I have received a response from Hyde I have been waiting to speak to someone since January so lets see what happens, I don't hold out much hope.

Shenka Wildey is an asset to Hyde Homes!

Me and my partner have just completed the purchase of our first family home at Whitstable Heights. Shenka has been absolutely amazing throughout. From the second I enquired about available properties, to even now after completion, nothing has ever been an issue for her and she’s always gone above and beyond.
We had an issue where we were awaiting gifted funds and she held the property for us until we got those funds which she didn’t have to do, and we also had some issues with the Finacial Advisor and Shenka pointed us in the direction of another financial advisor and that made the process so much easier, again which she didn’t have to do.
She’s an absolute asset to Hyde New Homes and I will be forever grateful to her for allowing us to buy our forever home!
If you’re looking to purchase a house at Whitstable Heights please know you’re in good hands with Shenka.

Only problem is they took screws out of manhole cover and not replaced so lid is not sealed nearly broke my neck cutting grass

Very poor handling of a serious repair…

Very poor handling of a serious repair issue.
The disability shower in our accommodation had no running water for over a week, including throughout the Christmas period. This should have been treated as an urgent priority, especially as the property houses disabled residents.
During this time, residents were unable to shower, including women who were on their menstrual cycles, which caused unnecessary distress and discomfort. Despite the issue being reported clearly, electricians were repeatedly sent when a plumber was also required. It took a full week for a plumber to attend, significantly delaying the repair.
This situation showed a lack of urgency, poor coordination, and inadequate consideration for residents’ basic needs, dignity, and wellbeing — particularly for disabled tenants.
Very disappointing service and handling of what should have been a priority repair. Also they keep putting the information wrong in the system.
Now the receptionist is stating that the shower won't be working til the second week of January because they have to order parts and we are just left without a shower until then.

Flooded by leaseholder 2 years ago, ceiling ruined by water as well as walls. Was advised would need need to remove the ruined paper before plastering.
Repeated visits >5 times by Hyde workmen taking pictures of the very same walls.
Workman Garth Lingard today conveniently called an apparent staff member Rodrick Sterling who says not to be done but bear in mind stage 1 complaint confirms that needs to be done.
Note work then stated to be completed by Garth Lingard which is fraudulent.

An excellent experience …

I have just moved to a Hyde shared ownership flat at Canterbury. I am SO impressed with, and grateful for, the guidance and service that I have had from Hyde, and in particular from Nadia, the sales consultant. I can see that my new neighbours have described Nadia as friendly, professional, responsive, calm and empathetic. I agree entirely. The experience of buying and moving in has been positive in every possible respect, despite my occasional moments of anxiety(!), and has been the best possible way to begin life in my new home: thank you!

The engineer attended on time and get the job done they were very pleasant and guided us how to use the new unit they fixed in and overall I was very please for the job they done.

Those Repair men were polite, interactive with good sense of humour. The plumbing job was perfectly done and tested.

Appointments keep changing

Appointments keep changing, no response to questions and various repairs that I was told that was going to get done, have mysteriously been closed without any action. I would carry on but it is stressing me out too much.

Replacement airing cupboard pum

Your engineer arrived on time. Was respectful of my home. Kept me informed during the visit of the work that he was undertaking. Kept any inconvenience to a minimum.

It took to long to get anything done…

It took to long to get anything done and when they turn up they have no idea what they are doing they pointed outside the brick wall and miss some the only one that was good was the last mould wash that I had done it would be good if they had their names on their uniform cause some of them won't give you their names and it sound rude when you say ok mate I
