⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING FROM INVICTUS MOTORS / INVICTUS PORSCHE
I purchased a 2014 BMW M5 (EU64 UYO) from Invictus Motors on 20 October 2025.
Less than two months later, the car broke down.
What initially appeared to be an injector problem turned out to involve four injectors, two high-pressure fuel pumps and a fuel pressure sensor. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a BMW specialist, and I initially had to cover the recovery and repair costs myself.
I was without my car for more than two months, while continuing to pay my finance, warranty, tax and insurance. Communication from the dealer was slow and inconsistent, and despite repeatedly pushing for the dealer to take responsibility for the repairs, I was left facing the majority of the costs myself.
The dealer eventually made a partial contribution, but I still had to pay the majority of the repair bill.
🚨 ANOTHER SERIOUS CONCERN — SERVICE HISTORY
During this process, I also discovered an issue with the service history that I believe potential buyers need to be aware of.
I was given information stating that the car had had its timing chain replaced at approximately 50,000 miles. Based on the information and documentation I subsequently obtained, I dispute the accuracy of that service-history entry and believe it was falsified or inaccurately represented.
This is particularly concerning on an M5, where accurate maintenance history is extremely important.
🚨 MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE OWNER
When I repeatedly pushed for the dealer to repair the car and pay the bill at the local garage near me, the owner, Bashir, became abusive towards me on occasions.
I found the way I was spoken to completely unacceptable, particularly when I was simply trying to get the dealer to honour what I believed I had been promised when purchasing the vehicle.
I was also pressured to leave a 5-star review when I purchased the car. In hindsight, given everything that happened afterwards, I deeply regret doing so.
⚠️ PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH
I understand that businesses can change names, so potential customers should be aware that Invictus Motors has subsequently been associated with/trading under the name Invictus Porsche.
If you are researching this company, don't simply search for the current name. Look at the history and reviews associated with Invictus Motors as well.
My experience was extremely stressful and costly. I purchased this car expecting the warranty and dealer support to provide protection if something went wrong. In my experience, that did not happen.
I am posting this because I wish I had known about other customers' experiences before buying the car.
If you are considering purchasing from this business, I strongly recommend that you:
- Check the company's history and previous trading names.
- Independently verify every part of the service history.
- Get confirmation in writing of exactly what the warranty covers.
- Establish who pays for diagnosis, recovery and repairs.
- Do not rely solely on the dealer's representations about the vehicle's maintenance history.
- Keep all communications, invoices, recovery receipts and documentation.
This review reflects my personal experience, the problems I encountered with the vehicle, the costs I incurred and my dealings with the business and its owner.
I would urge anyone considering buying a vehicle from them to do extensive checks before handing over any money.
