Competitive quote. Questionable Telemetrics Scoring
So far, ITS4Women has been easy to deal with, and we received a very competitive renewal quote for my daughter this year, which we really appreciated.
However, I do have one criticism that potential customers should be aware of. My daughter is now in her third year with ITS4Women and has a telematics box installed, allowing her to earn reward points based on her driving. Since January 2026, she has been away on a six-month student exchange and her car has remained parked on our driveway, completely unused. We kept the insurance active in case she needed to return home unexpectedly.
Despite the car not being driven at all, she continued to receive weekly and monthly driving reports and was consistently assigned a driving score. The reports contained no negative driving incidents, yet her score remained around 63, preventing her from earning reward credits. This struck us as both puzzling and somewhat concerning, as it raises questions about how these scores are calculated when no driving has actually taken place.
So far, ITS4Women has been easy to deal with, and we received a very competitive renewal quote for my daughter this year, which we really appreciated.

Apart from this issue with the telematics system, our overall experience has been positive. Customer service has been straightforward, and the pricing has been very competitive. Nevertheless, based on our experience, I do have reservations about the credibility and transparency of the scoring and reward mechanism.

It was a pleasure to deal with a company that did not try to pressure me onto there product. No calls twice a day just a simple offer that made financial sense to me I didn't even check other companies for prices hopefully it will be the same next year I've told my partner and friends about it.

Everything is easy and clar to renewal…
Everything is easy and clar to renewal of insurance, I'm from few years with Its4women, however I pay evey year higher rate, no incidents, no claims. Generally, the prices of insurance in Ireland is one of the highest in Europe.

We are aware there has been an increase in the rates of Insurance within Ireland, unfortunately this is due to the claims to loss ratio and this in turn increases premiums for all our customers. We do regularly compare the insurance market and find we are in line with all other insurers and do aim to provide our customers with the most competitive quotation we can.

Charged 20% of policy to cancel
Very very difficult to get a hold of.
I tried to cancel my policy online before it started, and it said I could not use the online resource to cancel my policy before it began. If I cancelled it at the start time, it charged me almost 20% of the total cost of the insurance.
The person/bot operating the chat bot was absolutely not understanding and kept repeating the same, unhelpful information repeatedly.
For a 100% online company, their online resources are very much so sub par.
Impossible to get in contact with and when you do, its a waste of everyone's time.
Do yourself a favour and pay any amount extra to go anywhere else. My God. Not worth it!
*Update:
After directly emailing the complaints department, listed below. I got a full refund within 5 working days. So would definitely recommend this approach.

Pricing
Good price but if I was a New Customer I would get an even better price just seemed this time that I didn't do well compared the last few years so been a regular customer .Need to do more for customers thst stay year after year.Very easy to do on line but if your stuck you can chat on line and they will return with a phone call .
