Amelia was so supportive, knowledgeable and communicative

Darren has been very helpful in getting my flat ready for renting out to the market. He has explained every step of the process very clearly and gave me insights on what needed fixing in the property to provide the best experience for the tenants.

Estate agent didn’t show up for the viewing. I rang the office after waiting in the rain and they only picked up after 10 mins of constant ringing. They conveniently said oh the agent must have just gone upstairs (the flat was on the ground floor), we have quite a group for this viewing so he’ll be right there”. I rang the bell multiple times upon arrival incase anyone was inside the flat. The company says he was in, they’re lying. I waited until 15:20, as they had said he’d be around for another viewing at 15:15. He was not there because I’m not sure how massive this one bed flat was that the viewings were taking more than 20 minutes. Liars, unprofessional and a waste of my time. I’d upload a picture here if it was possible of the flat that had a joint fixed charges notice against it lol.

Luke was fantastic estate agent providing us with a great overview of the house and went above and beyond to find further information for us. The team's response to our queries were instant making the overall process feel smooth and efficient

Julie Twist are a Really good estate agents. They have been managing my rental properties for over 15 years. They are very reliable, extremely helpful. They have been keeping Landlords up to date with the renters rights bill. I would highly recommend.

Since my first review and added update I have been contacted to say my bid will no longer proceed ,
I did think that would happen as I said in my updated review here.
Apparently the vendor will no longer accept my offer as I wouldn't commit to pay the AML fees! . I am very disappointed as I had my offer excepted and now it's not. What difference does it make to the vendor if I disputed the fees, it is said I didn't show commitment to the vendor by not paying for the checks, but I provided proof of funds and I.D documents, my bank statement is not something I would show everybody , isn't that commitment.

I’m so grateful to Chris at Julie Twist for all his help in completing the purchase of my flat. From the very beginning, he was friendly, kind, and incredibly efficient. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but Chris made it feel so much more manageable by keeping me regularly updated and always being on hand to answer any questions.

Keeps sending me unsolicited emails, no option to unsubscribe. Ignored my request to unsubscribe when I sent them an email. Essentially a spam source.

Very friendly and helpful.

We left the property after 2 years of living in exact condition as we found it, but the agents made unreasonable deduction of £190 for the cleaning of two bedrooms and £70 for oven clean, which was brand new as we moved in. We spent all day deep cleaning the house but their excuse was that there were some cobwebs and dust on the Top of the wardrobes, where it's out of reach and sight. High definition photos were taken to make sure all micro dust is visible, even a photo of an electric plug with some dust on it, exaggerating a perfectly clean house to look as dirty. Spent two weeks arguing with the agent saying the property was left clean, just to be objected it was left dirty. I even sent a video, which was never downloaded and the link just expired. Utter ignorance, in my time in UK 12 years, it was the first time I didn't receive my full deposit back - because I always make sure to leave the property clean. I lived in many houses.

They nitpick minor things just to leave a tenant out of pocket and get some profits. They said their cleaner spent 3 hours cleaning the property, please tell me what cleaner gets paid £190 (+70 for the oven clean) for cleaning for 3 hours? I could of cleaned the dust they charged me £190 for in 15 minutes.

After more than three years with Julie Twist Properties, I just want to say a big THANK YOU. It's been a really positive experience from start to finish, and the team has always been great to deal with. A special shoutout to Kelly Davenport who was my property manager. She's been absolutely brilliant. Kelly’s been friendly, reliable, and genuinely caring throughout, ensuring all issues in the apartment were fixed quickly which made a huge difference. It's not often you come across someone who really goes the extra mile like she does. Thanks again for everything. I highly recommend them.

I just want to say a massive thankyou to Yvonne Cook. As a property manager she was attentive, responsive and always at hand to help me with queries and made the moving out process so much less stressful for me. I've never had to move out of a property on my own before and although it was daunting with a couple of teething issues she safeguarded me through the process. I just wanted to point out what a valuable asset Julie Twist has and I am sure it doesn't go unnoticed that Yvonne is a great member of the team.

The service was first class and we sold our property within a week of advertising the same. The whole process was managed very well by all involved and Chris was particularly professional and epitomised the friendly, attentive and caring approach shown by everyone. We strongly recommend Julie Twist and would not choose anyone else if we were buying or selling in the future.
