We had a lovely time in Swanage. Not far to walk to sea from hotel, however if mobility is an issue the hotel is on a bit of a hill. Hotel was very tired looking throughout , room was spotlessly clean... Toon meer

Booked hitel for 2 for 2 nights with…

Booked hitel for 2 for 2 nights with breakfast , breakfast isn't on email rang late deals Xperia, said its not on there , false advertising, tied cancel said need ring hotel , hotel like we can't cancel from 3rd party, rang back said il loose half my payment. Ridiculous.
False advertising!!!
Paying 16.50 each on breakfast per day i would never do.
Disappointed in service, won't be useing it again!

- Could be better...

- Room door lock was defective. ( mechanism not working properly - screws were falling off etc)
- Overall impression is that of a dated hotel - EG: dining area window frames were dirty, ( positive - breakfast was fine - but coffee machine could be better)
- Tiny room with no view.. for what I spent I was expecting better..
-Friendly staff.

Booking cancelled on day of stay due to over booking

Got an email on the day of our stay while we was on our way to the hotel that the room was no longer available and had been cancelled, leaving us with no where to stay and having to go find somewhere else that ended up being much more expensive and not even in the same area. Very disappointing

refund for cancellation

I booked, then checked the confirmation email and realised the dates were for the wrong week. I cancelled via the 'cancel' button in the email and then made the correct booking (there was an 'apply' button after the enter dates part). The money had gone out of my account twice, but one lot came back in shortly afterwards.

Delighted to get the Grand Hotel Cesare Agusto.

I was delighted to get the Grand Hotel Cesare Agusto at a very good rate. We stayed there the last time we were in Sorrento some ten years ago and I knew it was a very good hotel. I'm glad I searched Laterooms as it offered the very best rate. Sorrento, here we come.
