I’ve adopted two dogs from Many Tears over the past 15 years and I’ve also fostered for them. They are an incredible rescue who truly love and care about all the dogs they save and will do anything to protect the dogs in their care.
Their adoption processes can be stringent but only because they the want to ensure the right dog is matched with the right family to ensure they aren’t returned.

Many Tears Animal Rescue is truly an incredible place, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I adopted my dog from there, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve also volunteered at the rescue many times, spending real time with both the staff and the dogs, and I’ve seen first-hand just how much love, care, and dedication goes into everything they do.

The amount of dogs they save is nothing short of amazing. Each dog is treated with compassion, patience, and respect, no matter their background or circumstances. What really stands out is how deeply the staff care — they don’t just see the dogs as numbers or cases, but as individuals. They genuinely view them as their own pets and go above and beyond to make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and understood.

From medical care to emotional support, every dog’s wellbeing is clearly a priority. The environment they create is full of kindness and commitment, and it’s obvious that every single person there is driven by a true love for animals.

I would highly recommend visiting the rescue and seeing the work that goes on there for yourself. Seeing it first-hand really shows just how special this place is and the life-changing impact they have on so many dogs.

I’ll always be grateful to Many Tears for bringing my dog into my life, and for the incredible work they continue to do every single day. They are a lifeline for so many dogs, and the world is a better place because of them.

Absolutely wonderful rescue, we have adopted 3 lovely dogs that were saved from puppy farms by Manytears , they would have otherwise been destroyed! Older ex breeding girls and stud dogs !! All were neutered and vaccinated by the rescue! Very few rescues take on these poor little souls ! I urge anyone to visit the the rescue and see first hand the hard work they do and the wonderful care the dogs get ! They have invested in wonderful play yards for the dogs to get lots of free time and they all wear little jumpers when it’s cold and snuggle under heat lamps !without this rescue taking the ex breeders in I can’t bear to thing what would happen to them!

For 40 years I’ve worked with animals and for 40 years the cruelty of puppy farming has haunted me and I’ve wondered how the large charities appear to ignore this practice.
At last I have found a small charity Many Tears Animal Rescue who save at least 2000 of these dogs each year and probably another 1000 animals who are in danger because of a change in their owner’s circumstances.
Many Tears offer these often petrified dogs and unsold pups who have never been socialised, love and warmth. They carefully rehome them , trying to be as honest as they can so that the adoptions don’t fail.
It is truly a charity that goes where the larger, richer charities seem to fear to go.
Many Tears is an amazing charity. They cannot save or rehabilitate every dog, but they make a huge difference.
Most of us talk the talk, we don’t actually make things happen like Many Tears.

I have adopted 5 dogs from Many Tears, over a 16 year period and would definitely do so again. Four of my dogs have been under a year and one golden oldie of about 10 years old. All had been neutered, had their jabs, my oldie had a full dental with several bad teeth removed and 2 came with passports. Staff were friendly, supportive and super helpful, when I needed behavioural advice post adoption.

I have fostered for many tears and they are amazing we looked around and the dogs were well treated and cared for the staff were amazing we were only allowed to foster suitable dogs as we were first timers and in no circumstance would they allow us to take a dog that didn't suit us and on getting her home we were extremely grateful that they gave us one that had got a bit used to people first we cannot wait to foster again they gave us flea stuff made sure they were neutered and wormed and vaccinated they were wonderful

We adopted our little Jinkx from Many Tears. I have been lucky enough to volunteer at many tears. My friend is a vet and we give up our time to spay and neuter the animals. The staff are friendly and always telling us about special dogs they are looking after. Most recently two blind and deaf puppies that needed additional care. The animals always come first and many tears will ensure the right home is found for each animal.

I’ve been supporting Many Tears for about three years now and am always impressed at their transparency about where donations go and thank goodness for that amazing volunteer army of fosterers and staff who save dogs (and cats) from terrible conditions and death. My experience has been 100% positive and you know where your money is going.

Many Tears Animal Rescue has my heart - the staff and volunteers dedication to the pets in their care is second to none. They work tirelessly and do all that they can to make the lives of the animals there and the fosterers and adopters the best that they can. I cannot praise their work enough. Thank you for saving so many animals x

Avoid this place. Locals all recognise this place as the WORST place. The staff are rude. The dogs do NOT receive the proper care they need. They import pregnant dogs from overseas, often with known health issues with mother and litter. Do not go here. Go to other more reputable rescues. The likes of PDSA or RSPCA who are legitimately helping dogs. This place is horrendous.

It’s been 6 yrs since my husband and I adopted Rosie from Many Tears. Rosie has been an absolute joy from day one and I will be we forever grateful to Sylvia for allowing us to adopt her. I really couldn’t praise this rescue enough for the amazing work that they do and would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to adopt a dog to consider going to Many Tears. I volunteer there on a regular basis and see the hard work and dedication that the staff put into the dog’s. The rescue is not your plush Battersea or Dogs Trust set up but their mission is the same. To give dogs a second chance that they otherwise wouldn’t have had.

This is a plea not to adopt from Many Tears Animal Rescue. Staff were extremely rude to the visitors when we visited and some of the volunteers display serious behavioural issues including passive aggression towards those looking to home dogs. On two visits we were actively shocked at the treatment of others. The many negative reviews showing dogs in distress as unpleasant volunteers neglect them should convince you to avoid this shocking organisation. It is extremely disappointing that they remain open and my heart sinks every time we drive past. Wales deserves better.

A fantastic rescue for so many grateful animals and people. Many tears do amazing work, we have two rescue dogs from them and they are both such lovely, sweet boys, who we adore and wouldn’t hesitate to rescue dogs from them again when the time is right. Stop seeing the negatives, and look at all the millions of animals without a voice that this rescue is helping every day.

Our boy spooki is such a joy to own. We compete at agility with him and are forever thankful that he found our family .

This charity is amazing, I have personally seen all the hard work that goes on, the empathy that is given to every animal in their care. I have rescued two dogs and two cats from them. I am eternally grateful to them for helping so many lost souls … thank you many tears Xx

I rehomed my loved dog from Many Tears several years ago and will definately return when the time is right. My dog was being fostered by a lovely lady. The staff at MT were very approachable, the home check was efficient.
I volunteer to do homechecks now and find the office staff very helpful.

I have adopted all my collies over the years from many tears, they are an amazing rescue centre and i recommend them to everyone

Many Tears is amazing in the care and kindness they show to our lovely four legged friends. The dogs have had such a harsh start in life and this charity cares and does everything to obtain loving homes for them.

What a beautiful rescue this has been. The process was strait forward and they guided you through it step by step, we adopted a cockapoo who was scared of everything but as soon as were met at her foster home our hearts melted, she’s a beautiful girl, and we’ll give her the home and love that she so deserves.
