Not what I was expecting, I wont say its a rip off, but certainly not really happy with the purchase

Jeg har købt sengetøj fra Marimekko, som er super flot. Jeg havde dog forventet en meget mere lækker kvalitet. Stoffet er stift og slet ikke blødt. Synes bestemt ikke at prisen matcher kvaliteten.

Marimekon liinavaatteet on ihania, odotan tarjouksia ja ostan alesta tai ystävämyynnistä. Asiakaspalvelu vastaa nopeasti jos haluaa etukäteen tietää tuotteesta.

I ordered online on 19/03, and realised wrong items purchased. The email was sent to Marimekko few minutes later after the purchase asking if I could cancel or modify the order. I received their email on the next day and the customer service confirmed that my order has been cancelled. However, they are not processing my refund till now. I have reached out to them with a couple of emails and phone calls, no result at all! Currently they are being silent, not responding to my emails. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. SCAM.

Huono asiakaspalvelu. Myymälään toimitus ei toimi. Asiakas laitetaan itse ratkomaan ongelmat. Nettisivut ei tätä päivää. Hyvä brändi pilataan huonolla asiakaspalvelulla.

Tuotteiden laatu ei kohtaa hinnan kanssa. Kun rekalamoit, luvataan selvittää asiaa ja palata. Kolmesti tämä sama käynyt saman asian suhteen.
En suosittele kyseisen yrityksen palveluja. Asiakaspalvelu ala-arvoista, niitä vakioviestejä lähettelevät.

Tilasin Black Friday kampanjasta Marimekolta.
Tilaalahjana oli musta Marimekon logokassi.Jonka kooksi ilmoitettiin 45x47cm, mutta tuli 45x41cm kokoinen, joka vastaa Temussa myytäviä Marimekon kasseja. Eipä kannata olla Marimekon asiakas, kun yrityksestä ilmoitetaan, että voi,voi, oma mokasi, kun tilasit meiltä tuotteita. Harmi, kun Suomalainen pörssiyhtiö ei ole kiinnostunut asiakkaistaan.

Varene kom raskt, akkurat som lovet. Bestilte torsdag, fikk pakken tirsdagen etter. Bestilte varer jeg hadde sett i butikk, så ingen overraskelser her. Veldig fornøyd, også med prisen.

- irre teuer
- tolles Design
- trocknet NICHT - ich hab jetzt schon 6x gewaschen, da saugt nichts
absoluter FEHLKAUF, nicht zu empfehlen / Vossen 1/3 so teuer aber top Qualität und saugstark bereits nach dem ersten Waschen

Commande passee en janvier et jamais arrivée. Échanges de mails sur échanges de mails qui me prometttent un remboursement mais rien n’arrive. Même une confirmation de remboursement en août mais toujours pas honorée en octobre.
Une énorme arnaque !!!
Je suis en cours avec mon avocat pour régler le problème !

Really poor customer service and attitude. I am trying to return an order. There was no return label in the package and customer service say they’ll send me one in a few days. I’m off on vacation tomorrow, which they are aware of, but they won’t get me a label sooner. The customer service agents attitude was unhelpful. I won’t buy from this company again.

Bought a few bathrobes for my husband and I. We love the bathrobes! So cute and we also have the regular house robes to wear around and when we go out to get the mail. I also have a few of their bags and the bags have such amazing quality! Will be a new brand that I will be buying regularly from now.

I received the Unikko bathrobe as a gift from a friend (priced at $239). The material is not absorbent, which defies its purpose. I had misplaced the invoice and couldn't locate it until June. At that time I contacted Marimekko for a return/reimbursement. It took me so long because I had no proof of purchase. They refused my request because it had exceeded the 30-day window. They further stated that "it is unfortunate that the material did not work out for you," putting this design flaw on me. This bathrobe is useless. Because I have been a Marimekko customer for 40 years, I expected a degree of flexibility from them -- for example that they would honor my request for a return with the explanations I provided. This is all very disappointing.

Du blir lovad en tygkasse när du gör beställningen som gåva, vilket kändes som en kul överraskning. Därför känns det rätt snopet när du inte får den, fast det står på min order att jag har rätt till den. Jag hittar inget telefonnummer till deras kundtjänst.

Själva badrumsmattan jag beställde kändes mer som en handduk än matta, väldigt tunn bomull som i en handduk och det finns ingen behandling under som får den att ligga still mot golvet. De flesta kommer nog undra varför jag lagt en handduk på golvet. Men jag gillade färgen i beige som passade bra till mitt blå golv.
Väldigt nöjd med grytlapparna däremot.

Maria provided superior customer service after FedEx reported my package delivered, which it was, but to a different town than where I live. After frustrating interactions with FedEx, Maria took over and said she would take care of everything, including getting me a replacement out asap. She kept me updated each step of the way.Thank you, Maria, you saved me so much stress. Deeply grateful~hh

Varning!! Handla INTE av Marimekko!!
Beställde 4 klädesplagg från Marimekko 20240104 och trodde det var från Finland för det för många år sen var ett kvalitetsmärke. Betalade med bankkort.
Har fortfarande inte fått några kläder el mina pengar tillbaka trots flera mail. De ber bara om ursäkt och säger att det är mitt fel att inte företaget som levererar paketet fått information från mig????
Jag fyllde i namn, tydlig adress mm i beställningen, så jag förstår inte problemet...

Ordered various clothing items online. The prices were super cheap and seemed too good to be true. Little did I know that the goods were being shipped from China to Greece, where I live. From the beginning, the tracking was unclear as it was in Chinese, and even Google Translate couldn't help much. When the parcel eventually arrived in Athens, I was continuing to try and track when the parcel was out for delivery. Unfortunately the name of the courier company was not listed but I knew that the parcel in theory should arrive on a particular day. I stayed home, waiting for the call from the courier which is standard practice here, but no call came, and next I checked on the website, it said the package had been delivered.
I immediately contacted Marimekko by email and they said they would check with the courier. Each time I tried to follow up with them, they advised me to be patient.
Eventually the courier responded that the parcel had been delivered to my address and was signed for. I asked for the name of the courier company and proof of the so-called delivery. Marimekko said the courier refused to admit blame and washed their hands of it. I have things delivered here all the time - it's common practice in Greece, and this has never happened before. Marimekko wouldn't tell me the name of the courier company.
Anyway, I asked for a refund of my 90 euros which they told me would take 7 to 10 working days. after 12 working days I emailed again to ask why the money hadn't been refunded. "It's with the back office" was the reply. No heading, no signature, no details in the email. Extremely poor.

I waited another few days and asked again. They again told me to be patient. I emailed again - they said the refund had been requested and that it must be the fault of my bank. I checked with my bank - an international bank that is always super quick with money transfers and they definitely were not holding onto any funds. They advised what details about the refund I should ask the company for.
I asked them to provide these details as proof that they had processed the refund. I also told them that if they did not provide this, I would be contacting the Finnish KKV, which deals with complaints about businesses from the public.
Miraculously, my money appeared in my account the next day. It took almost a month of pestering them before I finally got my money back, minus 15 euros for shipping - which is a joke considering it was never shipped to me.
I would never buy anything from this company again, and if I had read these reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have bought anything to start with. They are not transparent about the goods coming from China, and their customer service is just pathetic. If I hadn't threatened them with going to the KKV, my guess is I would still be waiting for my money. They really just don't care.

all let down by poor customer service.

The online returns process is not representative of a global fashion house. In short, when returning an item (at your cost), they don't offer a credit note - but rather a promotion code. Which means you're limited in what you can use that "credit" on - i.e. you can't use it on sale items - you're forced to only use it on full priced items - not something you'd expect from a global fashion house. To be frank, I've actually never encountered this type of returns policy.

Additionally, the online customer service team is slow to respond. I don't think they've ever answered the phone once in the numerous times I've called at different times of the day, different days - even after leaving messages. I've missed out on sales promotions on account of delayed responses. Again, not something you'd expect for a brand like Marimekko.

In future, avoid the online shopping unless you're absolutely certain you're going to keep it.

The retail store staff are usually fantastic but not always practical to get to - which means less Marimekko shopping for me because I don't want to deal with their online customer support. Which is a shame because I've ended up shopping a lot less with Marimekko as a result of my experiences.

TLDR - great fashion, great clothes - let down by customer service and bizarre Returns Policy.

J'ai commandé ce que je pensais etre des objets design finlandais. Ils m'ont été expédiés depuis la Chine, ce qui jette un doute sur leur authenticité et la qualité. De plus le colis est en transit depuis 22 jours, aucune idée quand / si il va finir par arriver.
