Our initial visit to the Exmouth showroom was a very pleasant experience, it was very welcoming and friendly. Dean was very professional and after coming to our house to measure up gave us some good advice on what we needed. The work was completed a lot sooner than we had anticipated and a big thank you to Jake and James, the fitters, who fitted the carpets so expertly. We would recommend this Company to anyone, excellent value for money.

Warning!! Do not use this company. Flooring is uneven, did not prep the floor. I have lumps of concrete underneath. The carpet is coming away at the edges, but apparently that's normal!! Unprofessional and do not accept liability for their mistakes. Wish I'd gone elsewhere as is going to cost £1000s to fix.
I have sought a second opinion from an alternative flooring company who are horrified at the work and have pointed out more substandard work.

My review is for Market Carpets in Exmouth they have just refitted our new flat with carpets throughout, up the stairs and hard flooring to 3 other areas. Our price point wasn't cheep but modest. They were really good from the start of looking which was weeks before we could place the order. They are professional and help you find what you need. Always friendly and helpful. There fitting teem are very good and they take away the rubbish. We love our carpets and flooring so thank you very much. Exeter also very helpful when we called in not realizing we had a branch so close to home .

Good morning , from from a frosty Exmouth. We had Market Carpets fit carpet throughout our 3 bed room house. The lads arrived and over 2 days removed the 14 yr old carpets, fitted new and helped put the furniture back. After 26 years in this home we have a lot of stuff. On day two they fitted vinyl to two bathrooms and a kitchen utility where they dealt with the fridge freezer( upright) , washing machine, spin dryer and dishwasher. To lay a one piece in the double area was quite a job. All done with precision and no mess. Hovering and cleaning up as they progressed though all the rooms and stairs. A fantastic team supported by Ben who got the measurements right and the James and Jake fitters who made the whole experience bearable. Thanks guys. Ps , the Sat helper, did a grand job too.

We needed 4 different rooms carpeted - at different times - and quite awkward shapes! Market Carpets were great at finding a good quality match for our existing carpet and then fitted the carpets when we needed them - in two visits. Very professional and neat job - their fitters were excellent - Darren & Connor.

Excellent service from start to finish. Shop staff were very helpful with initial selection and ordering of carpet, giving good advice and suggestions. Measuring up was prompt and efficient and suggestions were made to provide the carpet in the most cost effective way (we were having an entire flat done). Staff were very accommodating when we had to reschedule due to Covid exposure and the two carpet fitters on the day did an excellent job and were very polite and hard working. I'm really pleased with the end result and the carpet was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Had vinyl flooring fitted in a very awkward shaped open plan kitchen diner. There was a fair few weeks' wait for fitting because the store is busy but it was well worth it. We had a fitter called Sean and he did an amazing job. Despite the room not being straight the flooring pattern is perfectly aligned with the kitchen and looks amazing.

From start to finish, Market Carpets have been brilliant. Always prompt on time and their experts very friendly and helpful. After an initial online quote, we received a telephone call to arrange a personalised consultation for the measurement of the the room and also where we were able to see and feel samples of our chosen carpet and the very many different colours available enabling us to choose the right product for our home. Within a week the carpet was fitted perfectly. The specialist helped me move a couple of heavy furniture and after the job was done, he put them all back for me. I definitely will use Market Carpets again and defo recommend to family and friends.

Market Carpets gave me the best quote locally. The customer service is second to none. My sales man Dean was friendly and knowledgeable! Because of him, i will be recommending Market Carpets to my family and friends.

The carpet in my new build property was included in the purchase - it was very poorly fitted and was really bad quality! So after a year of waiting I was given the go ahead to get it replaced, so chose to use Market Carpets in Marsh Barton after previous good experience.
The service I got there was great, from Gary talking me through some of the options and giving me a brilliant deal, to Dan who came out and measured and then made time to show me the carpet I’d chosen again after being slightly indecisive! The guys who came out and did the fitting were also great(sorry I can’t remember their names), they did an amazing job fitting the carpet, arrived on time, we’re professional, friendly and made sure it was tidy when they’d finished. They also gave me advice after finding a large crack in my concrete floor on the second day, and phoned to try and get me a new appointment for after it was sorted. The carpet I have now is such good quality compared to what I had before and was very reasonably priced. I couldn’t fault the experience at all and would choose Market Carpets every time. Thanks!!

I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the help and advice you gave me to recarpet my Mum’s property. From the first phone-call, to measuring up, choosing carpet, and then fitting, James, Lee and Connor have been so helpful and efficient.

I don’t have much experience with carpeting, and was arranging the booking from a distance. The whole team made it a painless process and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The house looks lovely with the new carpets, and we are looking forward to seeing it on the market soon. Thank you so much.
