I have been managing a house sale long distance and needed to have a Mundic test, at very short notice, to speed up my sale. I was advised by my estate agent in Launceston to work with May Whetter & Grose and the service that we received was efficient and speedy. The report results were e-mailed to me quicker than I had been advised and the hard copy of the report arrived soon after. I can not recommend May Whetter & Grose's services highly enough.

Overall, excellent service.
Selling as an executor for a probate sale at distance (275miles), I was impressed by their sympathy and advice.
Firstly, they arranged for the Inheritance Tax Valuation for Probate to be made by an RICS surveyor, the cost of which was deducted from their commission at the completion of sale because they were sole agents.
There were numerous problems presented by the eventual buyer, along the way, daily in fact. Their support in resolving such problems was immense. (I will not go into detail here, should comments about the buyer be taken as defamatory, other than WHG were given a hard time.)
My only criticisms, there were times when I phoned them, that either a message was not passed on or call-backs were not made.
Other requests also needed chase-up.

A tricky and prolonged purchase due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, all handled with great expertise, professionalism and good humour, with a happy outcome for all parties. Great credit due to Jen who remained calm and supportive throughout.

I highly recommend May Whetter and Grose. They helped us with selling our late mother's house, which she had originally brought from. Richard was particularly wonderful to deal with as he remembered our mum and the house and so it made the process much easier during a difficult time. I found myself thrown into a very nasty situation and having to find a new flat fast. I was going through a very difficult time, queue lots of emotional phone calls.
