MFC The Best Firm For Furniture

Bought a reclining leather suite, salesman was so helpful & friendly. It was the 2nd suite we bought, the 1st being 24 years ago & the only reason we bought new was because we wanted a recliner. Arranged the order & delivery for when we were ready. On the day of delivery, it was brought in & assembled by the 2 excellent delivery men. It was all done quickly & made sure I was happy with everything. Would definitely recommend this firm

We absolutely love the sofa

We absolutely love the sofa — it’s even better than we imagined! 💛
The whole process was so smooth from start to finish, and everyone was so helpful and easy to deal with. I was a little unsure about ordering from Swansea to Northern Ireland, but it couldn’t have been easier.
I’ll definitely be recommending you to friends and family — thank you for such a brilliant experience!

Disgusting Furniture and Service

This is the first time I have bought sofas from MFC............the worst experience of my life!!
Tried sitting on sofas before purchase was fine, I liked the style, colour the reclining features were an added bonus. BIG MISTAKE paying £1750 in full. They delivered within a few weeks and all seemed okay, until I sat on the 2 seater and could not get comfortable. The sides were pushing into my thighs and the lower back. I tried the 3 seater and same thing happened. I tried for a week to find a way of avoiding the discomfort using cushions and pillows, but nothing helped. Giving MFC the benefit of these sofas becoming comfortable, it never happened. I went and discussed this with Mark James, Manager who said he would come to my home and check out. 3 days later he came with another employee and after sitting, both said nothing was wrong and they were very comfortsble!!!! They were both adamant that the problem must be me!! I asked for a refund as the sofas were not 'fit for use' as I had no choice but to sit on pillows on my floor. I followed up with a letter to Mark James to which again he refused a refund (their guarantee on the back of their invoice clearly states if customer is not satisfied with the purchase that they will either refund or replace. Well guess what, their guarantee means is 'if we find sofas comfortable, then it's up to the customer to prove otherwise'. Isn't that a great response!!! THEY WILL DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SO KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU'LL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IT WILL END UP COSTING YOU NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY OR PROMISE BEFORE PURCHASING ANY SOFA.

SUPERB service from start to finish!! Highly Recomend MFC

My elderly mum needed a new rise and recliner and 3 piece suite. So, we set off for a day of furniture shopping and our first port of call was MFC.
We didn't need to go anywhere else!
They had a superb choice and Mark was soooo helpful, patient and accommodating. Mum had the rise/recliner she needed in the same material to match a new 3 piece suite and cushions to match all at a fantastic price. All ordered and delivered within 6 weeks.
They even took away to old suite and recliners.
I cannot fault them or thank them enough.
Superb and I would highly recomend them to anyone.

Ordered a bed frame and mattress from…

Ordered a bed frame and mattress from them bedframe was amazing to be fair but the mattress was awfull the spring just collapsed after 9 months and it felt really cheap they sent us a replacement and the same thing again been asking for a refund but apparently the no slat base they have was to blame which it wasn't so I am currently looking at legal action against the company to get my money back

Excellent service, price and delivery

I can 100% recommend MFC on all aspects of their service, price and delivery.
Had 2 sofas delivered today.... the deal they did us was fantastic, kept in touch throughout the manufacturing period and the delivery and installation was excellent... really polite and professional guys.

Do not buy a bed from MFC beds

Do not buy a bed from MFC beds, sister company. After sales shocking. Ordered a base the week store re opened, its November still no base. After 4 failed attempts to deliver the correct one, or 1 that is not broken!! Shocking service, avoid at all costs

Well 3 calls and emails and 9 weeks…

Well 3 calls and emails and 9 weeks later still no answer and no sofa's. This company seems to have no after sales skills. Don't mind a delay if it is a genuine reason but tell me what is going on. Shame as the sofa's are good quality just needs the staff to match it.

Love my Sofa, Love my bed

I ordered a sofa last year because of covid i new there would be a delay but it was delayed was a month on top of that. Not the sofa stores fault, few more updates would have been nice but I have had the sofa for months now and i love it, it was worth the wait. Recently i went to there bed store and the lady there was very helpful (didnt get her name) and i purchased a bed, it came in 1-2 weeks early which is brilliant. I had however plaster my bedroom expecting to have another week to finish the DIY haha, they did hold of delivery for a day to give me time to paint it so all worked out well. There was a slight issue with the head board but they contacted me and sorted it out straight away which i thought was very good customer service. I would use them again and recommend them.

Dealt with the father first lovely man…

Dealt with the father first lovely man listen to what i wanted ordered a suite which suited us, was told 6-8 weeks for delivery which was ok as we were aware of the covid situation. However several weeks later i rang again to find out what was happening with my suite and also to find out what the cancellation refund policy was as it is not on their website and found myself speaking to the son. This mans first words to me were your not getting your money back really rude surley with no customer service skills at all i posted a review on facebook baised on his lack of customer relations and had a reply from him telling me that i was according to his father a nice customer to deal with so he could not now understand why i had posted the review i had explained that his father had customer skills he did not and i dealt with his father the way the father dealt with me which was with respect something his son does not understand. I would look at other stores for my goods from now on

Terrible after service

Good initially. Helpful, listened to what we wanted. Issue was upon delivery. The goods were faulty. Been given the runaround ever since. They will look into it etc is the repeated line. Someone should have called by now etc, we will chase it up. it has now been 5 months. Already onto trading standards now.

Can't fault anything about them

Can't fault anything about them. Was left alone to walk around and browse then when we found our ideal sofa the lovely lady there was really helpful took measurements etc as we weren't sure it would fit in out living room. Delivery was estimated for approx 6 weeks. Only down side was this was all just before we went in to lock down in march so it did take about 15 weeks to arrive which was no fault of MFC. Sofa arrived this morning and 2 very polite guys unpacked and put it all together for us and took all the packaging away with them. Would definitely recommend MFC great products at very good prices.

No honor, no honesty will shake you hand then stab you in the back.,

The sofa store Swansea has been the worst customer experience of my life. On 2/1/19 I visited the sofa store in Llansamlet, I had an old chap called Terry served me. I found a chunky leather sofa which was my preferred sofa, on the pricey side but couldn’t fault it, explained to Terry how important a comfy sofa was for my health problems and that I need to be sat just so to be comfortable, he did a big sell on another sofa and although it was manual for 200 extra per sofa it could be made a power sofa. I was hooked it was a damn comfy sofa and I was happy, so I paid a deposit on it, was told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery but to ring in 6 to see where we were. So at six weeks I rang them and asked was there news on my sofas, as I explained who I was and what I had ordered they told me the computer had gone down and they couldn’t bring my order up but it would defo be here in two weeks and a note left for someone to contact me with a delivery date. Two weeks later still no contact from them so I rang again, this time when I told them who I was and told why I was ringing I was told by the guy on the phone sorry he couldn’t help as this wasn’t the store he worked in and someone would ring me back, ten mins later I got a call back to say Mark the manager would ring me in the morning as they couldn’t help. The following afternoon mark called and said I have bad news you can’t have that sofa with electric they don’t do it and he’s had words with the sales rep and he feels bad all that BS. I explain I have sold my sofa on so will be without a sofa soon for however long it takes to get another delivered which is an uncomfortable situation with my health at the moment, and on top of this I have gone to the expense of a total redecoration of my room to go with this new grey colour scheme, I am upset about this and left without furniture all down to his company. He said to come down and try some different sofas I asked did he grey leather electric and he said no micro fibre but he did have an Italian leather which he would let me have at the same price. Mark says he it’s their fault he doesn’t want bad publicity and and the last thing he wants is for me to have a bad customer experience as reputation is everything. So next morning I travelled back down to Swansea and tried the different sofas and they were not suitable so I had a look at the Italian one, It was quite comfy but not as comfy as the other one I had ordered even if it was better quality ( in marks words the difference between sitting in a ford and Ferrari) he also says they knew at the 6 weeks point I couldn’t have the electric sofas but they panicked and choose to hid the facts from me, they were going to try fit electrics from another sofa but it couldn’t be done. I wish they had been upfront I wouldn’t be in this position of having gone and sold my furniture on. I feel a bit desperate and I settle for the Italian sofas they feel good quality but the one he’s offering is brown and I need it to be grey so he says he can order it but its going to cost me more money and again a six to eight week weight, so something that wasn’t going to cost me more is now costing me more, never mind I have the extra weeks to get some more money together. As for being left with nowhere to sit for all them weeks and he can see I’m not well and he doesn’t want bad publicity over what has happened, Mark offers me the manual version of my original purchase as a loan, I didn't ask for them he offered which seemed very kind at the time, we shake on it and he writes a new receipt, tells me I made the right choice as the one I had ordered originally is a cheap shipment from China that’s why there’s no electric in them and it won’t last as long( they advertise quality sofas mind!)
So my own sofa goes to its new owner and I wait 2 days for my loan sofa the new Midas suite while sat in a camp chair, I tell them to make it easier for them and the delivery guys I would have a 3 and a chair, he thanks me for being so understanding and I’m just relieved that I will have furniture.
And here comes yet another sting in the tail the delivery guys drop off the loan sofas and it's not what was promised it a stinking filthy 3+2 sofas they smells so musty and damp it has scuffs and stains and is so low and uncomfortable I am not able to use it for eight weeks. The delivery guys say he’s gone back on his word as he had sold all the others and ill have to have this or be left with nothing to sit on. I explain the situation and the delivery guys are embarrassed and shocked and apologetic, I tell them I need to speak to mark and they say he won’t be available until the morning. So here I am with two absolutely stinking and I can’t underestimate how musty they smell they making my chest wheeze, I am not happy and having this filthy crap in my house.
On top of this I think maybe its been in a house with pets there is hair and filth down the side cushions and a used q tip cotton bud, how disgusting is that? I was going to give it a damn good clean but I am not going to put my hands in someone else filth I have no idea what types of homes this sofa has come from or even if it was pulled out of a refuse skip, it's disgusting and it is distressing to be treated so badly. I am tamping mad I have thrown out better condition furniture. And to think they know I have sold a damn good sofa to be left with this piece of crap that I can’t use. Having just had a tearful conversation with marks dad Terry ( who seems p*ss*d that Mark has offered me sofas at cost price as a solution to their mistake) they have agreed to pick their rancid sofa up in the morning but are leaving me with no furniture, they don’t have the sofas to lend and are not offering any other clean sofas as they don’t want the expense and inconvenience of making any more tips up to Merthyr, never mind that I have had to pay them more than one visit and numerous calls to try get this sorted, The truth is they dropped a b**lo*k and don’t really want to honour what was promised and they will be happy to give my deposit back to me to see the back of me and see me without anywhere to sit knowing I am in poorly way at the moment. This mess is all down to them and this is the worst customer experience I have ever had. There is nothing honourable about this company or the way I have been treated and left in the lurch. Then Terry rang me an hour later off their sofa store number asking am I mfc sofas, taking the pee or what, get this man to a dr , this is an abrupt man who sold me a sofa they couldn’t deliver on and made me wait almost nine weeks to say the truth and take me back to square one, only now I am I have decorated for a non-show set of sofas and left me furniture-less. what the hell are they doing with this man in charge and dealing with customer care? abrupt snappy and rude.

Highly recommended. Top quality and low prices!!

Had 2 sofa's and 2 beds now from here. Mark is always friendly and helpful. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else I have looked and the quality is great. Had one issue with one sofa cushion, rang Mark and it was replaced within 10 days - all companies have issues with products but its how they are dealt with that counts!! Definately would recommend.
