I enrolled in the JHU Applied Generative AI course to explore how generative AI could enhance decision support, accelerate analysis, and improve operational efficiency without compromising reliability, traceability, or security. In my work supporting government departments as a systems engineer, integration and risk management are paramount. The course addressed these realities directly by covering model limitations, hallucination risks, evaluation metrics, and strategies for human in the loop oversight.

I would strongly recommend the John Hopkins University Applied Generative AI course to anyone that has an interest in AI. It provided an excellent understanding of working with AI and how fast it is growing.

This is a great program which has provided a useful foundation in my understanding of the building blocks of artificial intelligence (AI) and the rapidly evolving landscape of Agentic AI. AI for leaders course is just setting the base for everyone to go conquer in the world of AI. This course touches on some of the core concepts of AI and helps you to use your analytical skills to build further. This is industry agnostic course and I'd recommend to anyone in the industry to advance in their career.
