What can I say the staff and doctors have been amazing.
I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 years of age and after going along to the clinic and having several tests done and speaking with my surgeon we decided on RLE lens exchange which could deal with my shortsightedness and longsightedness. Michael looked after me the day of my surgery and explained what would happen. The surgery was painless thanks to anaesthetic drops and a brilliant surgeon Mr Pantelidis. My vision although blurry after surgery blew me away, I have not had to wear glasses for the last week and my eyesight is brilliant. I can’t thank everyone enough and I would highly recommend.

My wife and myself are so pleased with our lens replacement surgery carried out at Optimax in Cardiff. The staff were so friendly and caring from the initial welcome at reception, to the lady that gives you the eye drops, through to surgeon and all the other supporting staff. Although nervous about the procedure, it was so professionally executed and I did not feel anything. The result is outstanding, and after only a few days could already see better without glasses than I could previously with them on.

The whole experience from start to finish, friendly made me feel comfortable. A credit to all staff here, a tentative. I most importantly happy with my new clear eye sight results were fantastic and after care treatment was great. I would highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience with Optimax for my (LASIK) laser eye surgery. The whole process was professional, smooth, and reassuring from start to finish. The results have been incredible, and I'm so happy with my vision.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and supportive, making me feel comfortable and well cared for every step of the way. They took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire experience stress-free.

I'm very impressed with the Optimax support, their consultation process, and their focus on patient health. I personally have had a consultation with an optometrist, an online consultation with Dr. Blas, eye surgeon, and a further in-person medical review with Dr. Blas, the surgeon. Sadly, I was not a suitable candidate for RLE surgery due to my specific eye profile. However, I'm so impressed with Optimax, their team, their professionalism, and the complete lack of pushy sales. I wasn't rushed, no deposit was taken, and the consultation was free. I'm gutted that I'm not a suitable candidate for RLE surgery, but I'm incredibly grateful Dr. Blas put my health first instead of focusing on a quick sale.I will definitely return to Optimax in the future because I feel safe with them. The whole team at optimax in Leeds were absolutely amazing. They made me feel very relaxed from start to finish. I had Cataract/Refractive lens exchange. 2 days later I can see better than I ever have and I love not having to put my glasses on or contacts in. Had laser eye surgery and it worked out great. I have been wearing glasses for many years and now im glasses free.

The procedure is quick and painless. The only uncomfortable part was the clamping on the eye so it doesn't move. You dont feel the sutting or burning at all so be prepared for it to be pain free procedure.

After the operation you will be in pain with air coming in contact with your eye.

My advice would me straight after the operation go home and go to sleep this prevents you from blinking and by doing this it give your eyes rest and a chance to heal better and becomes less painful.

The team at optimax in Leeds was absolutely amazing. They made me feel very relaxed from start to finish. I had lens replacement and I was extremely nervous but the reasured me that the procedure was painless and quick and that it was. 2 days later I can see better than I ever have and I love waking up and not having to put my glasses on while I'm waiting for my eyes to come round so I could put my contact lenses in. 100% best decision I have ever made, I wish I had done it years ago . I recently had my LASIK surgery at Optimax Leeds, and I honestly cannot thank the whole team enough for the care, support and professionalism I received throughout the entire process.

From the very beginning, everyone was so helpful, patient and reassuring. I had quite a few queries before my surgery, and Brishna was amazing in helping me with everything. She always got back to me, answered my questions clearly and made the whole process feel much less stressful.

A massive thank you to Sophie and Tracy, the managers, who were both incredibly helpful, understanding and supportive. Sophie went above and beyond to help me with my payment arrangements, working with me to sort suitable payment dates and making what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness, patience and understanding genuinely meant a lot. Tracy also gave me clear instructions before surgery, including making sure I ate and drank beforehand, wore something warm and comfortable, and avoided wearing contact lenses again. This really helped me feel prepared and calm before coming in.

The theatre staff — Claire, Amanda and Joanne — were absolutely brilliant on the day. They made me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly and helped calm my nerves. The whole team were friendly, professional and made the experience smooth from start to finish.

A special thank you to Dr Ahmed, my surgeon, who carried out the procedure. He was professional, reassuring and made me feel like I was in very safe hands. The surgery itself was quick, and the team made sure I was comfortable throughout.

It still feels unreal knowing I don’t have to go back to glasses and contact lenses anymore. My vision is great, and I’m so happy with the results already. It honestly feels life-changing.

Overall, I’m really happy I chose Optimax Leeds. The care, communication and professionalism from Brishna, Sophie, Tracy, Claire, Amanda, Joanne, Dr Ahmed and the rest of the team was excellent. I would definitely recommend Optimax Leeds to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

Had lasik eye surgery its was very quick and painless there was slight pressure applied to both eyes that was uncomfortable for about 10 seconds or so,apart form the slight discomfort.,the procedure was successful and i now have driving standard vision. the staff and the location was modern and very clean with free refreshments

I had Lasek surgery last month at the birmingham branch and everything from start to finish was great! All the staff at this branch from Emily, Andrew, Amy, the optoms and of course the surgeon Dr Samuel were extremely exceptional and I couldnt ask for anything more! Best decision ive made!

I felt my consultation was very thorough and informative and was given my options straight away. I was told that my best option was for lens replacement to remove a cataract and improve vision for my job as a driver. I am currently 72 hours post-op after having LASIK in one eye and LASEK in the other, and I could not be happier with the care I have received so far.

Michael, front of house at the Finchley Road clinic, made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. He even helped arrange a space for my partner to take a quick remote work meeting while I waited to be seen, which was really appreciated.

Dr Neo carried out my initial consultation and surgery. I want to give him a special mention as he was absolutely fantastic. I was naturally quite nervous but he made me feel completely at ease both before and during the procedure. I honestly cannot give him enough credit. He explained everything so well and has managed my expectations for recovery so well.

I was also seen by a couple other members of staff, all of whom were excellent, professional and clearly very well trained. The post-op care so far has also been brilliant, with all medication well packaged, clearly organised and easy to follow.

The cost was also much more competitive compared with Optical Express.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Finchley Road clinic.

Optimax was such a great company to have my LASEK eye surgery from. All the staff were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. I’d like to especially thank Malcom my surgeon who did a fantastic job. This experience has been life changing and if I could do it again I’d choose him. I received treatment on two occasions at the Optimax Specialist Eye Clinic in Leeds and could not be happier with the care and results.

I underwent Refractive Lens Exchange surgery, followed by a small laser enhancement procedure. On both occasions, the surgeon and every member of staff were outstanding. When i went for my lense replacement I was so nervous. The staff at Optimax Leeds soon made me feel relaxed and calm. Throughout the procedure they reassured me and kept me calm. I have had 2 follow up appointments since the surgery and my eyes are getting better and better. I can see what seams new colours to me I can read and see more things than I ever thought I would.
