As an IFA dealing with a number of SIPP Providers the general level of service and knowledge is shocking. The Cardiff team at Options and in particular Devendra stand out as exceptional in both respects. Dev this morning has given me guidance where another major SIPP provider refused. They are outstanding.

The payment was late due to someone going on holiday and not handing it over. You did recompense me by not charging to do the drawdown. So the lesson for you is to check and streamline your process.

Trying to transfer my pension from Options to Aviva.

I have sent a transfer request to Aviva, who have contacted Options for a transfer out form. They aren't getting any response, which is unsurprising because I have never ever had an email response from Options. I don't understand why they even have an inbox.

Tried to call but stuck on hold.

I would love nothing more than to transfer my pension out of this abysmal fund, but it seems like I'm stuck and the only choice is to make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.

There is a fundamental disconnect between he asset manager platform and my SIPP platform

As a general rule, I have found Options to be helpful and professional. However, in relation to my recent experience, when I required my funds to be transferred to a fund manager, I am afraid that Options fell below their normal standards. The transfer, which I wished to be carried out expeditiously, was slow and Options failed to provide the necessary documentation timeously.

Once again on hold for 15 minutes following a set of useless blurb!
These people have magically’lost’ money taken from my pay for years 2017, 2018, 2019.
They can only ‘find’ 2020, 2021, part of 2022 - 2023.
You cannot contact them because they are clearly busy doing nothing! I would be ashamed to be CEO of such an unprofessional, uncontactable business!
As I write have been “on hold” for 35 mins - disgraceful!
