Absolutely dreadful customer service and back office .

I have a client being quoted 8 to 10 weeks to complete a transfer to Legal and General. I would urge any employer to consider other options if this company is being considered for the home for your auto enrolement duties or group scheme. Far better options exist.

These timescales are simply unacceptable , given that most schemes can transfer within a few working days electronically.

Nothing too much trouble. No time limits.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for..........

I have used Options, formerly JLT, to deal with a SIPP for many years now. Their service is consistent, professional and trustworthy. I am confident that I will remain a client for the foreseeable future.

Having been asked to supply information relating to my previous review, I received no reply after about a month. I wanted to know how they calculated their fee regarding the pension payments from my SIPP. The administration of the investments is carried out by a bank. They only make monthly payments and deduct the income tax. The annual fee is almost 25% of my pension.

My contact at Options is always very efficient, polite and nothing is too much trouble for him.
He is always at the end of the phone as well if I need anything explaining in more detail.
He is a pleasure to deal with.

She was supported by the Options Pensions base team who were also very competent, helpful and effective - locating a host of 30 year old pensions formation documents which were thought lost - but which, by good detective work were retrieved and recirculated.
