This store sold me a defective can of…

This store sold me a defective can of auto paint. They would give me no choice but to exchange it for another can of paint. I did not have time to repaint my car after picking up another can. They would not give me store credit or refund my money. I wrote to the corporation with a copy of my receipt and photo of the messy can. I did not get a response from the company.

Great Customer Service

My husband told me to go to O'Reillys and get new wiper blades and have them put them on. I thought oh my goodness. I went in the store to the wiper blade isle and entered my vehicle year and make in the machine and then became confused. A young gentleman asked if I needed help and he had me come to the front desk where he brought up my cars info then gave me a price range, I chose the blades and payed and he politely took them to me car where he pleasantly installed them. I will obviously return after receiving such kind and courteous help.

Our O'Reillys at University Village was FANTASTIC!

Our O'Reillys at University Village was FANTASTIC! I went in for wiper blades of which they offered to install. I realized after I left that I’d given them the wrong year for my car so the blades were scraping. I went back and apologized. They exchanged them and put on the new ones! Then I teased that I also needed a headlight, which they promptly replied that they do that too! The manager Jeff and the co worker Taylor were great!

Their company policy is no refunds on shipped items. Which means. If you bought an item or items, no matter how much the shipping is, wether you actually get the item or not you will not get a refudn for the shipping you paid. Even if you got a defective item!
I had the store order me something. Never got it and the store manager Troy wouldnt give me a refund. I had to call corporate. Corporate called the store, talked to Troy and corporate told me to go get my refund. I drove back to the store, didnt say a word. Just handed teh recipt and Troy knew aht he was todl to do. Troy was told by corporate to issue me the refund cause the item I paid for was on back order and no one could tell me when or if Id ever get the item. Troy thought it was funny when I first tried to get teh refund and, get this he sais " OH well, here is the corprorate number" when I told him Id call his boss if he wouldnt give me the refund. Apparentyly Troy things stealing peoples money is ajoke and that his boss woudl take his side. Troy ripping me off for the shipping on a 13 dollar item. Huge million dollar company and this idiot couldnt issue me a 7 dollar refund for the shipping? They should let him go. I had to take half the day and several trips and phone calls to several stores to get this refund. NEVER GOING BACK.. Thanks Troy... Douche Bag!

I think time changed....they refused to install the battery I bought in the store even after I told them they did last time... so over price without installing. So lame. I did at Walmart for the half price and they installed my battery. everything happens with a reason. I won't visit Oreilly anymore. Thanks for the warning...

Waste of time ordering online with O'Reilly

I placed an order, online, for my Daughter so she could go to her local store and pick up a battery. I placed the order at 11:56am, called the store Manager about the order and my Daughter headed to that store to pick up the battery. But when she got to the store, the order had not been finalized through O'Reilly online and required me to call an 800 number to proceed, all in the name of "SECURITY" they claimed. It is not up to O'Reilly to decide how I pay for the order...that is between me and my credit card company. With the thousands of dollars my Husband and I spend yearly at O'Reilly and have this issue arise means we will NEVER buy anything again. NAPA is right down the road.

Entered the store in Weslaco

Entered the store in Weslaco, TX never greeted. I woke up Mario at the counter and interrupted his daydreaming I guess. I asked for wiper blades for my Prius and asked if he could install to which he grumbled something back under his breath to which I was sorry I stopped here. I paid for the blades, and he let them set on the counter and started waiting on everyone (Hispanic) that walked through the door. I grabbed the blades and walked out , thanking him for NO service.
OK, Back to Amazon from now on.

Employees are not important!!!

If there is a more sexist or racist retailer in the world I haven't found it. O'Reilly is still the good ole boys club. When I started at my store, there were three females: The Store Manager, another female counter person, and a female delivery driver. All three were exceptional at what they did. The store manager had the highest store audit score in the district, which is their measuring stick for performance of the manager. Within a few months, the district manager forced our store manager out and demoted her without a reason. It didn't take long before the other two females resigned as the workplace became hostile. I couldn't stand the way these employees were treated, so I resigned too. I hope the company realizes it takes more than a warehouse full of parts, it takes people!!!

I purchased brake-pads and was told that they come with lifetime warranty and\or free exchange. I have done this in the past with my other vehicles. This time, my brake pads were not exchanged and was accused of trying to sell them elsewhere,... if exchanged. Who does that??? Will not purchase anything from them if they can not stick by what they say for warranty.

During the transition from Kragen to O'reilly auto, I bought some parts online with the promise I could return them in store if necessary. Never using the parts, I attempted to return them to a local store. (Mountain, ontario, California) They said they needed paperwork, which I provided, but they were still unable to refund my money. After four trips back to the store with various printouts from the online transaction they were still unable, and unwilling to accept their parts back. When asked for a managers or owners phone number, they said they were corporate owned, and there was no one to contact. In disgust, and frustration, I threw the $20 of parts in the trash, and ended my years long relationship with Kragen auto that day.

Today I brought a battery from my golf…

Today I brought a battery from my golf cart (full size like a car battery) into the O'Reilly store on Bell Av. in Surprise Arizona. The battery is quite heavy especially for a 73 year old. I struggled getting it out of my car and especially trying to get into the door of the store. To my surprise when I entered the store I found 2 young men employees watching my every move, when I finally got through the door one of the men slapped the counter and said "put-er" right here. I did. I bought my new battery and repeated my actions struggling to get back out the door and into my car carrying the battery! I guess they were too busy watching me to help. a sorry crew you have there Mr. O'Eeilly.

Problem Solvers

I am surprised at a few of the other reviews because I have been truly amazed at the great customer service I have received.
I must have caught them at a good time, looking fairly desperate with frustration.
A young man helped me with an extremely stressful problem - twice. He was Professional, Pleasant, Courteous, Confident, Helpful. And it’s also little things; it took him all of three seconds to install a windshield wiper. It's perfect.
As you well know, the most basic things can *Stop *You in your tracks when it comes to a car: a blown fuse, a trunk that won't close, a moon roof that won't close (of course it will rain that day).
Problems are endless, especially if you have an older car. These are professionals and problem-solvers.
I was just thinking an hour ago, "If I could find even one professional like this in a couple of other fields, like Medicine or Dentistry or even Dressmaking, I would be one happy individual.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! My father and I went in to purchase replacement light bulbs for my headlights. There was only one other customer in store at this time. They did acknowledge us when we walked in. It took 3 associates to help just one customer who wanted to return an item. I bet we waited for at least 20 minutes and no one would offer to help us. We walked out. They said to us on the way out that someone would be with us soon. What a lie. They had absolutely NO sense of urgency to help a 2nd customer.

To be fair this rating is for the west…

To be fair this rating is for the west haven ut OREILLY. It never ceases to amaze me how horrible their lack of customer service is. They never acknowledge you when entering the store and you can be standing right next to an employee while looking for something and never ever being asked if you need help with anything! Why do I bother going there you might ask? It's conveniently inconvenient being closer to home for a quick tool unfortunately. Every other OReilly that I go to has fairly good customer service thankfully.

Customer service for O'reilly means, well - it doesn't...

O'reilly is new to Florida - at least Central Florida. While as a consumer competition is welcome, an important factor in addition to pricing is good customer service. They fail at this time after time. Once they have your sale, they do not seem to care.
I don't understand it - you'd think that in today's competitive market a company like O'reilly that is trying to make in ways in this market would have customer service at the top of their list. And this is not just an issue at store level, but at the corporate help desk as well. Try talking to them - they just don't care.
Except for items I have in warranty, I don't have any intentions of walking into an O'reilly ever again - but I'm just one customer- so it probably does not matter.

Another big company that really doesn't care about customer service!

I recently ordered some clearance items from their website. I was pleased with that order so I placed a second order. I assumed that although they were clearance tools, they would at least be new. WRONG! I could see some dust and wear, even surface rust from sitting in a warehouse for years. I was sent a ratchet that was worn out and was caked with dirt and grease and locked up. I also received a used pair of pliers that were beat up and the teeth were worn down. When I asked for replacements or a refund I got the "Sorry, all clearance sales are final" runaround. They offered me a complimentary $10 gift card out of the goodness of their black little hearts. I explained to them that the tools cost me $17 (not including shipping) so $10 wouldn't cut it. They basically said "take it or leave it". I opted for "leave it" since O'reilly's will never get another dollar from me. I won't even get into how frustrating it is to shop at their local store!
