Sessions were not helpful and when it came time to schedule a follow up appointment my provider said she was going on vacation, but would contact me the following week to schedule. She never contacted me. I was never able to get ahold of her again but the company continued to charge me despite never receiving service. This company is absolutely awful and left me feeling like I got scammed.

After cycling through THREE different therapy options (all disasters btw), OurRitual is the only one we haven't ghosted after a month.

Therapy felt too intense to suggest, so this was a low pressure way to start working on things. I like that I can go at my own pace and revisit topics when I need to. I feel more confident bringing up important conversations now.

Our counsellor was good and the app approach didn’t work for us, but that is not why I’m moved to leave this feedback. We would have just left the 3 month trial satisfied but realising a more traditional session-only approach was for us and being a bit annoyed about the buggy app that froze us out often, and realising that you could miss out on sessions if your assigned therapist didn’t have availability when you did (we only had one session in our first month due to this). The reason I am frustrated to the point of leaving this review is that after I emailed to confirm we wouldn’t be continuing after our 3 month commitment I was then emailed repeatedly to complete a survey before they would confirm this. I completely the survey but then came across bugs that wouldn’t let me answer which reminded me of the numerous times the system was buggy before - but again, nothing that was so frustrating that I’d take time to leave a review. What had led to this is that once I completed the survey I was then emailed again to ask if I was sure I wouldn’t renew - I said I was sure, then they said they were going to have to charge us for cancelling early. WE DIDN’T CANCEL EARLY as was clear in the email chain, but they charged us a cancellation fee that same day regardless.
For a company that sells listening services their customer services team aggressively over communicates without actually reading the content of email to the extent that our account was cancelled without notice prematurely so we lost our booked sessions and we were charged a cancellation fee when we had only notified them that we wouldn’t be renewing after the three months was up. Incredibly poor customer service and much time has been lost trying to sort issues out.

I had a great experience with OurRitual.com! The website is beautifully designed, easy to navigate, and offers a thoughtful selection of wellness products. Everything I ordered arrived on time and was beautifully packaged. You can tell there’s care behind the brand. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add more intention and calm into their daily routine.

We signed up for a 3-month package with Our Ritual, paying nearly $400 upfront, based on their advertised 14-day money-back guarantee. But that guarantee is basically useless. To qualify, you have to both request a refund and attend your first session within 14 days. However, the earliest session they had available was after that window closed. So we had no opportunity to even try the service before the refund period expired. No warning, no heads-up—just a built-in loophole that leaves you stuck.

When we finally had our session, it was extremely disappointing. The therapist seemed unprepared, awkward, and honestly like she was reading from a script. The session felt impersonal and uncomfortable, and we knew immediately this wasn’t the right fit for us.

We asked for at least a partial refund and were told no—but they generously offered us 20% off our next session… after a terrible first experience. Why would anyone go back after that?

If you're going to expend the time, energy and money, go with Well Beings Counselling. We had one session with Franziska and the difference was night and day. She was professional, insightful, and clearly experienced. We felt safe and supported—everything we hoped therapy would be.

If you're considering therapy, do yourself a favour and steer clear of Our Ritual. It’s an expensive, frustrating, and disheartening experience. Go with a legitimate practice that puts people first.

We've been trying a few therapists throughout our marriage as we went through different stage of shared life (having kids, changing careers, etc).. and its always been hard to find the right therapists, or make time. Our Ritual made it so much more accessible and affordable, and we couldn't be happier with using this new and modern approach to couple therapy.

The fact that I was able to start solo and really work on myself and my side of the relationship, and then get my partner to do the same and end up working together - the past four months has changed our lives, so the grateful, and highly recommend it!
