DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

DON'T USE REGAIN US. THIS IS TERRIBLE. I'M TELLING YOU. I just had a session with their therapist and it was awful. He didn't listen to a word I was saying and just kept telling me to talk more about myself. Wtf?? Then he said it seems like it's hard for you to talk about yourself, right after I just shared what I went through. WORST therapy session I have ever had. $60 wasted.

Like lots of other people

Like lots of other people, I was scammed by Regain and billed $80 weekly for services I never received. The ONE session we had was good, and I thought I was just paying for it, but inadvertently signed up for weekly billings. I was never notified that this was happening, nor was I reminded to schedule. I was shocked to discover that Regain had been charging my credit card since February, and it’s added up to over $1,300. Terrible that an organization of mental health professionals would do business in such a sneaky way. They are also difficult to contact. I tried to send them a message, and got a response that they had been unable to verify that I was not a robot! WHAT? Super frustrating!

Therapist never joins sessions

Attended my first couples session 5 minutes early. Waited for my therapist for over half an hour who just did not show up. No reason why, no response to messages, nothing. Very poor to pay for a session, take time off work, both myself and my partner, to attend and just be blanked by the therapist. Not even reaching out to apologies. Just silence. The session started at 3.50pm its now past 4.30pm and ive not heard anything from anyone within the regain team. Shocking.

Awful Awful company

Awful Awful company, we have paid £720 for 6 sessions, I have emailed them over 4 times, tried to message on instagram and no reply to anything and they keep taking money every month for nothing. AVOID. No way of contacting them as they don't reply.

We've provided extensions to help allow you more to make up for some of those potential live sessions you were looking to have with your therapist.

We would advise doing a search in your inbox for the subject line "I need help" and make sure that search includes your SPAM folder so you can find our messages and send us a response so we can continue to assist, as still needed.

Do not book with these people

Do not book with these people. The therapist was awful and we couldn’t even understand what he said. I am shocked, these people can really damage a person how can they not have any training? Do they not interview people before offering a service? Anyway we use ChatGpt now and it’s fabulous. Don’t pay money for this “service”.

SCAM. WATCH OUT!

Charges on a weekly basis that makes ZERO sense while navigating therapists schedules.

Our therapist would have to reschedule at times and we would end up paying for 2 weeks because they charge $65 on a weekly basis. If your therapist goes on vacation for a couple weeks you are still charged.

This is scam and the creators are senseless looking for ARR rather than a good product for their customers.

Cancelled my membership and they opened it up again and kept charging- criminal.

COMPLETE SCAM. PLEASE AVOID!

While the membership access includes many more features beyond the optional weekly live sessions, we do understand that these sessions are a key part of the healing journey. Whenever a therapist plans on having limited live session availability, they are instructed to inform their clients to reach out to our support team so we can provide an extension to the membership accordingly.

Our therapist is wonderful. Very caring, a great listener with actual advice for our questions. I would definitely recommend the service to anyone needing a little assistance with your relationship.

Charged weekly, therapist has 0 availability

Just joined and so far, not having a good experience. The therapist I matched with didn't have an available appointment for 3 weeks. I will still be charged weekly for all 3 weeks before I even have my first session apparently? Didn't realize that. When I messaged the therapist to ask if there was anything I could get started on, she simply said "no, see you soon." So what am I paying for? The unhelpful, random daily journal prompts on the app? On the intake form, I clearly outlined the problems I want to work on in therapy. Seems like it would be easy enough to take that info and at least give me some homework or ask a follow up question so I don't feel like I'm shelling out $400 a month for generic "list 3 things you're grateful for" type journal prompts... The price seemed like a good deal when I thought I'd be getting weekly therapy, but now seems like a terrible deal since it's apparently going to be 4 charges for 1 session. You also can't book multiple sessions at once so after my first session, I'm anticipating the same problem- therapist booked solid for 3 weeks. How is this fair?

We can also help work with you to find a different therapist match, and even involve our Clinical Operations team if there's a concern over the clinical quality of the services the therapist is providing.

Total Scam

Aside from the initial sign up email, there is absolutely NO notification that you are in fact charged WEEKLY, regardless of sessions booked. No emails, no notice of upcoming charges, no reminder of recurring billing. I had ONE session, and have since paid $900. Sometimes my therapist wouldn’t respond for 5 days to book a session. This is a complete and total scam. I am absolutely sick over how much money this company has charged me.

Paid for therapy I didn’t receive

I do not recommend this platform.

I paid a total of $664 through a weekly subscription plan, but I did not receive all of the therapy sessions I was supposed to. The platform itself has usability issues, and more importantly, my assigned therapist did not have consistent availability.

At one point, nearly an entire month passed without any sessions because there were no available time slots, yet I continued to be charged as usual. Paying for a service that is not being delivered is simply unacceptable.

I have requested a full refund for the sessions I did not receive, as well as the immediate cancellation of my subscription to avoid further charges.

This platform was supposed to support us, but instead it has become an additional source of stress. I hope they address this situation promptly and fairly.

We were lucky enough to find a great…

We were lucky enough to find a great therapist first time who understood the complexities of relationships and neurodivergence. He has helped us enormously to think about how we communicate with one another.

We have uncovered and worked through past traumas and how these are impacting our interactions, and I feel more positive about our future together.

I had a really frustrating experience…

I had a really frustrating experience with Regain and would not recommend it.

I signed up and paid without having any idea who my therapist would be. Only after committing was I assigned someone—who, it turned out, had no availability for two weeks. I received what felt like a copy-pasted introduction message, and after that, communication was extremely poor. I would go over a week without any reply, despite actively trying to reach out.

Meanwhile, I was still being charged weekly.

When the day of my first scheduled session finally arrived, the therapist simply didn’t show up. No explanation, no message—nothing. Then I received a notice saying she would be on holiday the following week. At that point, I had already paid for multiple weeks with no actual service.

To their credit, customer support initially gave me 7 extra days for free after I raised concerns. But overall, I still ended up paying for about 4 weeks and only got a single session out of it. I’ve now been matched with a new therapist, who I do like, but by this stage, I could have seen a reputable in-person therapist for the same price and avoided all this stress.

What’s worse is that I’ve continued trying to contact support, and now I’m not even getting responses anymore.

This whole system feels disorganized and unreliable. I have proof of everything and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before signing up.

Extremely poor and unethical advice.
Before even video chatting my partner and I in an initial session, her advice was to suggest we have an abortion! My partner and I are a working couple, with no issues except financial stress and fighting that I asked for help with and her advice over text was to suggest I have an abortion. Never Used, stole hundreds of dollars every month

I signed up intending to book a first session, but the booking never went through. Months later I realized I had been charged $65/week the entire time without ever receiving any service. I never had a session and didn’t realize billing had started. Pretty frustrating experience. Stay away!!!
