Having contacted Booking.com with my concerns about the standard of the properties in Bath that we booked with this company I am rating them as poor. Although one member of staff Aileen has been consistently helpful throughout my concerns. We were three ladies in our 80th year who annually meet for a break around the country. We have never in 13 years had such an awful experience. The Abbey Gate accommodation had been occupied and not cleaned. It was in a totally unacceptable state. It needed a deep clean and was misrepresented by the photos on line.i had paid a £300 deposit for breakages or soiled tea towels!According to my discussion with the owner of the cafe through which you enter the flat I’m certainly not the first to find it unacceptable. As I complained to the company we were then No 12 Lorne Rd which appeared to be in a student area which was deplorable. We had folk knocking on the door in the night. Quite alarming! The shower was in the bath and, I think, that the screen needed attention as the floor flooded badly if you showered. I had deliberately booked accommodation with a separate shower as getting into a bath can be a safety issue for elderly ladies especially as one of us had a hip replacement. We could not get the television to connect to the internet so unable to watch anything. Therefore, we came in and went to bed once the heating worked. The first night was freezing. We left early on our third day, happy to get out of the area. We were not in a financial position to move out into a hotel and so had to put up with it. The company have offered £37.50 in compensation which I have declined as unacceptable. Be careful to read all small print when booking with this company and I hope your experiences are better than ours.

The accommodation was fantastic and the hosts had great communication throughout. Would recommend!!

Lovely place to stay, all clean find it as on description and on pictures. Close to my work and love to stay here again.

Back in March I wrote some scathing reviews, needless to say Pass The Property tried and failed to have them removed. All of a sudden, PTP start to gain a huge amount of reviews, look at how this company uses Trustpilot link. In February they received zero reviews, by the end of May they 72 which I found odd as when I was in business with them, out of 10 bookings, they could only get 1 review for my business which was suppose to be a hands off approach as they would manage everything.

When I looked at some of the reviews, there are people saying how great PTP were for their business, yet when I researched the names in Company House, they didn't exist, maybe PTP can explain that one.

it is completely unsafe and unfit for children because The entrance is under active construction with scaffolding ( we sent pictures to booking and the company) — never mentioned on Booking.co They also demanded an extra £300 deposit, which was unclear — we thought it was included in the booking. We tried to cancel one hour after booking, and they refused. Upon arrival we saw the scaffolding and construction. We could not stay, and the host refused a refund. This is unacceptable and deceptive — Booking.com should remove this listing immediately!

Nor booking or the Pass the property Ltd. took any responsibility, the answer was its the building and not the property ( though the scaffolding was on top the front door).

Mentioning you are very sorry that the information about the scaffolding was not clear (was never even mentioned).
And still you took our money, didn’t agree to cancel and didn’t return our deposit though you have camera in the property and we didn’t entered.
So I don’t see about what exactly are you sorry about.
Pay us the money back, it is that simple.

Been using pass the property over a numerous of years for my rental property and their service has always been on point, will definitely recommend using them!

I only have to say I’ve had a great experience with past the property. From the very beginning they were very accommodating when I needed to adjust my dates. And very willing to arrange an early check-in when I inquired about it. Extremely fast responses from very friendly employees.

From the moment we arrived at this wonderful property, it was clear we were going to enjoy all it had to offer
In a beautiful location, the property exudes luxury in every room.
The bedrooms were all spacious and had plenty of storage, and super bedding.
Every room had ample sockets
The garden was a great size and had a lovely seating area.
Lots of storage in the kitchen and an added bonus of a games area attached to it.
With an XBox too there was plenty for us all, at varying ages, to do.
The pool and sauna were just the most wonderful touch.
Loved it that much, I cried when I left 🤣
Absolutely would not hesitate to return.

Absolutely fantastic

First we had to pick up the keys from a place near the train station. Then we headed to the apartment and, to our surprise, it hadn’t even been cleaned. If someone hands us the keys to the apartment, it should already be ready. Anyway, we left and informed the owner that the cleaning hadn’t been done, so we were going out. We stayed in the apartment for 3 minutes. Two hours later, the cleaning team sent photos to the owner claiming we had damaged a bed in a room that we hadn’t even used. LIES — when we arrived, that room already had the sheets all messed up and the bathroom was disgusting. We’ve been arguing about this until today and the only ‘evidence’ they had was a photo taken by the cleaning team. The owner offered no support whatsoever to solve the issue at the time. They left just one roll of toilet paper in each room for two people for three nights… surreal!! Not to mention the rest, which I can’t even recall now. Awful!! Never again.

Awful experience with this company, the pictures online make it look lovely but it was run down and dirty with an old mouldy smell. Everything’s been done really cheaply. Their logo of “hassle-free luxury property management” is a joke, it’s so far from that it’s unbelievable they are advertising themselves as such. The house was more like tired student accommodation. We even had to go to the shops to buy a frying pan as the only one there was a very small, old crappy one that you might take camping at best. The oven barely worked it was so old and cheap, it was hard to cook a meal for us all. There were cigarette buts all over the garden and old blood stains on the linen. The floors were sticky throughout and the carpets were old and smelly. It was just so upsetting to be there with my kids. We had to wash everything that came out the cupboards as it was covered in dried stuck on food. Even the smart features on the tele didn’t work. To top off the disappointment, we left behind a new Carhartt t-shirt drying on the banister in the rush to get out with 5 kids and on reporting this to the company I was told they were not obliged to handle any items left in the property! After a painful 48 hrs of back and forths I finally heard that their cleaning team apparently didn’t find anything. In other words have stolen my item. I’m just so shocked at how this company operates, they do not look after their customers, I have never stayed anywhere that doesn’t handle lost property. Will never book again with this awful company, totally below par all round!

Cancelled my booking for 23rd cos it was for my 22nd birthday

The flat we rented was great. Good and safe location and close to 2 tube stations. Bedrooms were spacious. Wonderful to have 2 bathrooms since we were 4 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with a big fridge. Living room/dining room was huge. Very clean. Lots of towels and toilet paper. Would rent this flat again. And we really appreciated getting in 2 hours early!

Bad area. Place was in bad shape. Not very clean and didn’t smell good. Ended up leaving because it was so bad and joining another place

Great communication, property was clean and tidy and well located in the centre of Cardiff.

Amazing place, great location close to shops and the town. Very clean and stocked up with everything you could need
