Paycaptain have been a really solid partner since we went live with them at the start of 2026. As payrollers we need reliability and to trust our partner, but they give a edge of allyship with their service. Our key contact Joanne Goss is a great partner across all our payrolls, super supportive, flexible and quick to respond when our needs are urgent. My ask of paycaptain is to remain this consistent for us and continue to be a great partner please.

This is the second time I have implemented PayCaptain into a business and cannot recommend them as a payroll provider highly enough.

Well what an amazing experience, from the initial meetings with Adam who gave me every bit of info we need to make an informed decision ( and for me to build my business case to get this), to the onboarding where wow between Lindsay L and Rebecca L they were amazing. How can we wish for a better service, onboarding or even payroll! We previously had a well questionable provider who even caused us issue with the parallel run, yet they girls were nothing but miracle workers, and got it sorted to a payroll that went so well. I wont say it went off with out a hitch but i can't blame paycaptain for that moreover my data, and within 2 hours of them notifying me that was an issue ( Yes they noticed before my employees), we had it all sorted. This was amazing, and genuinely what a massive weight lifted from even just the first run. I expected big issues and for it to have gone as well and smooth as its been amazing. Thank you guys so much!

Lianne and the team at PayCaptain have been amazing throughout our payroll transition. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and any questions or challenges were dealt with quickly and professionally.

What really stood out was their flexibility. Unlike some providers, who can be quite rigid in their processes, PayCaptain took the time to understand our requirements and adapted their approach where needed. They are real people who genuinely care about delivering a great service, and that made a huge difference throughout the implementation.

The migration itself was smooth and well managed, giving us confidence at every stage of the process. The platform is intuitive, easy to navigate and simple for both administrators and employees to understand.

As an HR consultancy, we work with a wide range of payroll providers, so we have plenty of experience of what good looks like. PayCaptain has genuinely been one of the best implementation experiences we've had. Finding a payroll provider that combines great technology with exceptional customer service is rare, but PayCaptain does exactly that.

We recently migrated our UK payroll from Rippling to PayCaptain, and Lianne Price made the whole process far less painful than it could have been.

Payroll migrations come with a lot of moving parts, and ours was no different. Lianne was patient throughout, answered every question we threw at her (and there were plenty), and never made us feel like we were being difficult. She clearly knows the product inside out and was quick to flag things we'd have missed ourselves.

The migration went smoothly and we've had no issues since going live. Would recommend PayCaptain, and Lianne specifically, to anyone making a similar switch.

The app is very easy to use, I love the colours that you use in the app to identify different choices - savings, charity donations, split payments etc.
Also the bell when you have a new payslip is brilliant!

Excellent business with wonderful people who truly care

The PayCaptain team are so friendly, accommodating and very helpful - they are a joy to work with. They have really innovative solutions and a real focus on financial wellbeing which is very refreshing.

Excellent support, have been with us since the beginning and payroll is never a stressful process. They are quick to respond to any queries, the online admin portal is good and the app and the offering for staff is excellent. Payslips are really clear and interactive for staff - also the plain numbers payslip option is really helpful. Charity donation through payroll is really easy and the emergency cash feature is a good benefit for staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PayCaptain.

So hopeful, we couldn't have asked for the transition to go any better! The team are also so quick to action any cases we raise! They really are the best!
