I have had my dog registered and…
I have had my dog registered and insured for several years with no issues. When adding a new pet, I called and spoke to Sheila, who was very kind and helpful but the plan never went into place that was back in August or July. I sent an inquiry through the online system and never heard back. And now it is mid September and my dog still has not had coverage so I went through with online process again.

Was looking for an estimate of coverage for procedures
Spoiler alert - STAY AWAY from Nationwide. Was looking for an estimate of coverage for my pet to have a procedure, sent in the medical records. Their policy is not clear on what exactly is covered for a procedure for lower extremity xrays and biopsy requiring general anesthesia. Submitted the detailed record with physical exam leading to the need for studies, along with the detailed estimate, and they REFUSED to give me any kind of a ballpark on what my cost would be. STAY AWAY, over 10 years premiums have skyrocketed and coverage has diminished. Reminds me of united healthcare. You WON'T FIND THEM ON A TOP 10 list.
