From the beginning Pioneer staff was very attentive, helpful and patient while dealing with all aspects of my case. They were always available to discuss my case and I didn’t have to worry about the creditors coming after me because Pioneer handled everything.

Pioneer helped me clean up my credit card debt. It wasn’t quick but I stayed consistent with my payment plan and got it all taken care of.

All the staff are always kind and caring and spend time talking to you. This was the very best choice I ever made. Today Jason R. Was kind and courteous and took time to answer all my questions. I have actually recommended you company to a couple of my friends. Thank you Pioneer for giving me a piece of mind!

Horrible service. Won’t answer our calls, emails or letters. Scammers don’t use this company.

Since my last review (which seemed to get more attention than any of my calls), I initially received weekly calls asking if anyone from the legal department had called me concerning updates on negotiations...never did, and eventually they stopped checking with me (may have something to do with me suggesting they CALL THEIR OWN PEOPLE before calling for me to answer that question!), No one could answer why there was ZERO "negotiations" as far as reducing what I owed to anyone (the best they did was set me up in payment plans for more than I paid directly to debtors before, thereby adding their fees/handling ON TOP OF the ridiculous charges I paid for 18 months. I STILL have major bills they haven't "negotiated", primarily, they say because I need to give them even more money to bargain with! Pioneer is a scam, all crooks, and are bleeding me dry-their deduction is the first pulled from my checking account, and shortly after I'm in a negative balance, credit ruined, and no glimmer of ever getting out of debt.

So my account was to be closed out last month and the balance in my GCS was to be returned. Didn't happen.
And because of that, they took out another month's fee and tried to pay one of the creditors when it was obvious there wasn't enough in the account.

Im learning that Pioneer Law Firm did not pay off the credit in full as they stated, i have email confirmation as well. Do not trust PLF, i am going to have to go through BBB again inregards to the lousy services they provide.. Terrible service!!!

Update: They said in their reply that they would reach out to me. They never did, and it's been five years later. I'm just putting this on here hoping it'll help others from making the same mistake I did. Don't fall for their scam! I was paying them the same amount I had been paying to my credit card companies prior. Work with them and they will work with you better than these scam artists ever did!

When I became disabled at work, I looked for a debt consolidation loan. Pioneer Law Firm offered their "services", and at first they sounded okay, and a way out of trouble I had gotten myself into. When the guy came to our house and had me sign the papers, I asked him, "But this is less than I owe on my cards." I was stupid enough to think that this was still a debt consolidation loan, not a debt relief program. He told me how the big bad banks have been screwing us over for years with interest rates, and we shouldn't have to pay it.
Well, the banks have nothing on the people at Pioneer Law Firm. I originally had over $25,000 of debt in their program. When debt collectors called me, I referred them to Pioneer as I was told to do. One lady sighed and said she was sorry, it was the worst thing I could have done. I asked her why, and after telling her I gave her permission to tell me more, she offered me such a better deal than what Pioneer has been able to get from any of my creditors. And then when I called Pioneer and asked them to take that card off the list, the person on the phone actually sounded upset! But that's not the issue.
The issue is that this week I will make my last payment with them. I will have about $23,000 drafted out of my account. Of that, only $11,000 has gone to my debts, with more than $12,000 of debt coming back to me to handle on my own. There's another $1,500 sitting in my account that I believe will come back to me, unless they find a way to grab that as well. The rest of the money, over $9,000, went to fees! 39% of the money you pay to get out of debt will go to fees people. That's higher than the highest of interest rates! This is the biggest financial mistake of my life that I have made. I am making it my life's goal to warn off as many people as possible about Pioneer Law Firm. I paid over $23,000 for them to settle less than half my debt. Think about that.

Edit a year and a half later. They said I would receive a follow up shortly, and I never did. I'm doing this in hopes that other people see this now when the economy is going bad all over again. Please please please find another way out of your debt! Call and work with the companies! Anything is better than paying the same amount and having 40% of it going to these guys. At the end you'll still owe money and your credit will be ruined for 7 years. Please learn from my mistake.

Do not use this company. The total settlement amount will not be anywhere close to what they estimate in the beginning. For more than a year they will collect ridiculous service fees and when it is close to the end of program they will leave you by yourself. The monthly drafts will increase a few times down the road but it won't be enough to settle all your debts and they will tel you to make your own payments after program ends.
They won't send you any documents of your settlements and won't provide you an interface to track your payments.
They won't call you back. You'll only receive generic responses and monthly bulk emails.
They will have you accept the same or worse offers multiple times.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are terrible. They cost us more money than it was worth. Plus on top of it back in 2016 Chase sent me a cancellation of debt.. This cancellation of debt went to Pioneer Law Firm in their Colorado location. This document was never forwarded to me and now I have been audited by the IRS and have to pay back taxes plus penalty and payment processing fee. Just so extremely disappointing. There is no loyalty to their customers or trying to help you as a customer out. Once they get their money or you are done with the program, so are they done with you. Don't do it! They are like all greedy businesses and all they want is your money. I graduated the program last year and received this notice from the IRS just recently and now am left holding the bag because I am no longer a paying customer, even though the document was sent while I was a paying customer. What ever happened to customer service???

I believe the 3 greatest days of ones life are the birth of their children, the day they get married and finally the day they can say they are debt free!! Thankfully becoming debt free was made possible by Pioneer Law Firm. They were so helpful along the entire process. They even got me out of debt faster than they said it would take. Thank you Pioneer Law. I’m finally able to live again.

Derrick was 'da bomb'. Of all of the representatives I have spoken to, he was the most helpful. He has reassured me and calmed me down twice within a month. He deserves a star, employee of the month parking, and a RAISE!

Having been a client for 5 years after a nasty divorce, they were able to help me get going in the right direction. I only had one issue with a lawyer that was on retainer that showed absolutely no interest in assisting me. In fact I felt like an inconvenience. Everyone else was top notch and I would recommend Pioneer to anyone. Thanks everyone- you guys are the best=

This is one of the most terrible companies I have ever dealt with. We started the "program" and made the payments like normal. We tried to get a pay off amount ahead of time, they said they would submit the paper work and get it to us. They somehow lost the paper work, and missed getting it to us in proper time, they then deducted the monthly payment again. We called to get this started again, they told us our pay off amount was the same as before the last payment was deducted. When we questioned it, they gave us a crappy story about how they always over quote the amount needed and then refund the difference. you have to voice record everything you do, and it has taken over 90 minutes on the phone to stop future drafts, pay off our account. The employees have no idea what the hell they are doing. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. You are better making your own deal with your creditors.

I started with around $44k in credit card debt. I'm on the 4 year program scheduled to finish by September. I have one account remaining to settle and contacted pioneer earlier this year about paying off my remaining balance (around $4k in remaining payments) and they said it would take over $9000. They said I will have to make payments to the company directly after I complete the program if I don't pay any extra to then now. I have asked them to get a settlement offer from this last company but they refuse. They won't respond to emails or return phone calls.

When I enrolled in the program I was told that I would most likely finish the program early. I have made all my payments on time so it's very frustrating that they were off by over $5000 and that they refuse to make any effort to settle this final account.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! The fees they charge you for paying with your own money is ridiculous. They give you a small amount in the papers you sign when you begin but then it double and triples. If you must do debt refinance, do not use this company. Hidden fees!!!! Global Client solutions is also the company used by them. Don't use them either. I foolishly looked at other experiences and said that wouldn't happen to me but I was wrong. Seriously don't use this company.

When I first started with my debt consolidation program, I was very unsure about the results. I had many questions and concerns. The agent answered all my questions and I gave it a shot, I started paying into the program and I noticed that all the calls from creditors stopped. I am nearly finished with my program only one card left to pay off. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnell, that was something I never thought possible before I started with the program.

I'm so very frustrated with Pioneer Law Firm. I have been with this company for near 4 years. My contract is scheduled to be completed in September 2018; however my settlements are to be completed in July of 2018...except for one card. Pioneer has repeatedly messed up this account. I was actually sued by the card company. I gave Pioneer all the information, and they failed to properly respond in sufficient time, so a default judgment was filed against me in court for the FULL amount of what I owed. Once that happened, Pioneer decided to finally do something. They settled my account, but I had to pay an extra $150 a month directly to the company! Then, they came to a different settlement a year later in which Pioneer would pay the company through my monthly payments. After only 3 months, Pioneer quit making payments to this company saying that the account was sold to another debt company. This was in September of 2017. Thankfully I check my account periodically and I noticed that no payments were being made to this company for the settlement. I was calling monthly, then bi weekly and every single time, they tell me that someone will call me back; that they are still trying to find out who the debt was sold to; they would talk to the litigation dept or their manager, and I would get a call back within 48 hours...NEVER ANYTHING! I have even told them that I actually work in the legal field and have spoken to my own private lawyer about this matter. My private lawyer has told me that I absolutely have a case against this company. However, I just want this all to end and Pioneer to actually do what the heck I have been paying them to do for the past 42 months! My very own lawsuit might be forthcoming shortly if I don't get any feedback from them soon! I'm so fed up.
