Fully Covered By Insurance
My kit was fully covered by my insurance. There are lots of medications included which covers a wide range of symptoms. The fact this is free was hard to believe at first, but it really is.

It has come in handy so many times. Connecting with their doctor was easy when I didn’t understand, but otherwise the handbook is awesome. I even used it to help my friend understand the prescription she got when she was sick. They should sell the book!

I placed an order back in March 2025.. no response since
I placed an order with this company in March 2025 for an emergency kit. As part of the process, I was required to provide highly sensitive information, including my driver’s license and health benefits card details. While my health benefits approved the order, I have not received the product nor any updates since.
Repeated attempts to contact the company via email, messages, and social media have gone unanswered, and they provide no phone number for direct communication. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially given the sensitive personal information they request. At this stage, I am highly concerned about the legitimacy of this company and the security of the information I provided.

I have attempted to contact this company on multiple occasions, via the email address they say is monitored daily, yet no response. It is disappointing when a company does not give a contact number, ONLY an email address, and they do not reply after a month. Customer contact procedure review should be a priority, as this seems to be a common complaint with Prepare Medical.

Saved us from a topical infection!
I ordered this kit because I live part of the year in Croatia as well as travel a lot, and have been caught in some circumstances where I needed prescription medication and it was difficult to access. My kit arrived in about a week and a half, and I took it with me to Croatia. Just a few weeks after arriving, my friend visited me and got a topical infection. Thank goodness we had my Prepare Medical kit, as she needed Mupirocin ointment, which the kit had come with! Thank you Prepare Medical!!

Direct billing is available again, but coverage may vary based on your individual insurance plan and province. We work with the majority of major insurance providers across Canada, and most customers are able to receive partial or full coverage depending on their benefits.

This company is non transparent and…
This company is non transparent and misleading. The email that they use for contact doesn't exist. They suggest that a doctor will contact you which never happened. I thought I was getting three months supply of medications I might need in an emergency because they asked for this info on the application form. Instead I got antibiotics which I discovered after the fact is actually the order. I am very concerned that I have given this company so much private info which I have no way of eliminating off of my account. The worst part is my health care extended health was charged 1500.00 dollars and I will now have to pay out of pocket for my medications for the rest of the year because there is very little money left on my limit for the year. There is no transparency for how they send you these drugs for free! It's not free! It comes out of your healthcare insurance. There is no way to cancel this order!Buyer beware! Also I wouldn't trust the site with your personal info which they ask for.

Very handy and a great product
This is a great product. I decided to order since I do alot of wilderness camping and travel in which medical care would be hard to get. My medical coverage thru work covered the whole thing and I didn't have to pay anything. I received an amazing array of meds and a very handy book to go with it. Since getting it I have had to use several of the items in it, allowing me to avoid a trip to the doctor for a simple ailment. The only thing I wish is that it came with a larger bag to hold them. I know the bag it comes with is designed for you to take only what you need on a trip but it would be much nicer to have a bag to hold it all at home. I fortunately had a large first aid bag that I want using to put everything in.

Excellent experience with prepare…
Excellent experience with prepare medical. I got this before a recent trip to Africa and I was very glad I did. While my husband and I avoided getting ill most of my tour group was not so lucky and I was able to come to their aid. The whole kit was covered by my insurance and arrived at my home within a couple weeks of ordering.

The whole process was painless.
The whole process was painless.
I have a remote cabin where it is accessed only by hiking through a forest with no trails. Where help is not minutes away and most likely be via rescue helicopter, it's great to know we have most issues covered with this kit. Just wish ivermectin was included

Exceptional offer and company
I have no idea why anyone would write a review that this is a scam.
Like all the other reviews it seems too good to be true. Receiving medications for ‘just in case’ situations is a foreign concept. In Ontario it is almost impossible to speak to a doctor unless you’re lucky and have a family physician or unlucky to have to sit in the er waiting room for 10-14 hours. Having these medications and a comprehensive guide to describe all ailments and dosages is extremely valuable.
However, you do need some intelligence, research skills and common sense to make sure you take the medications properly.
After filling out the online information and insurance requirement I received some emails then the box showed up. I was amazed at the impressive amount of medications. I received this box completely free because everything went through my insurance. My insurance was charged around $1500.
I am telling anyone that will listen about this fantastic company.

I came across Prepare Medical on social media, and as someone who spends a lot of time in the backcountry and frequently travels, I was immediately intrigued. The concept is fantastic! I submitted my information, and within a week, my medical kit arrived. I was blown away by the selection—so many essential medications covering a wide range of scenarios.
