Cost is appropriate for professionals. Functions well

So far ProgeCAD has been the best software I've ever purchased. I use it on a Windows 7 machine which runs perfect. Every part of the installation went perfect. Not a single glitch. The attention to detail of ProgeCAD is first class. I was instantly successful with every tool I tried. Great software, excellent tools, exceptional value at a very low price with no monthly fees. I couldn't be happier and do recommend to all of my friends. The only downside I can find is the fact that ProgeCAD does not work natively with Linux Mint. With millions of people worldwide switching to Linux Mint from legacy dead platforms, ProgeSoft will have to port ProgeCAD to Linux Mint. They have no choice.

if the USB drive fails they will replace it if you send in the failed drive. Thanks for clearing that up.

Progecad is as easy to use as Autocad, with many more features built in. It makes life simpler and adds enhancements where needed without the need to purchase options or adding.

I have been using ProgeCad for 5 years now.
Best thing ever created for us AutoCad users of 35 years or so. I just upgraded to 2025 and love it.
I recommend it to anyone I know who uses CAD.

The fact that with my AutoCad experience this program is easy to operate. Also, that I got to purchase it and not rent it.

I'm loving this program! I have been using CAD for about 12 years and ProgeCad is just like CAD. I love that the hot keys are the same! Thank you!!

There are two minor things that I wish were different:
When you are using TRIM, you can't hold Shift and have it auto switched to EXTEND while still in the TRIM tool. I really like that about Cad and hope this will be updated in ProgeCad someday.
The other thing is, I can't find the layer Freeze tool. You need to go to the list and manually freeze, which is fine, it was just a convenience in CAD when it worked. (It was a glitchy tool in CAD so maybe it's better to re-train yourself to do it differently) :)

Those things are so minor! Definitely a five-star program and so happy with the cost! I highly recommend!

The software is great and a wonderful substitute for ACAD! The online process was clear and easy. The order fullfillment was accurate and fast. The registration key for ProgeCad worked the first time. I would recommend the software and ProgeCad.us.

Installation was a breeze and it literally runs like AutoCAD. Great replacement that a small business can afford and so far all my .dxf and dwg. files work perfect.

SUPPORT & GROWING SOFTWARE

First, the pricing was an initial draw, and second, the CAD software was extremely easy to install, and most importantly - easy to use, as I had changed over from AutoCAD LT 2021, and this was quite seamless. I still have some learning to do with all the features, but I have the time, since I am retired after 40 years in the engineering field involving process equipment and system design and fabrication. I use progeCAD primarily for home projects, but still do periodic consulting work where CAD drawings are involved, and this software is quite valuable there.

Recently I purchased progeCAD 2025 Professional about halfway through the 30-day trial. From the initial download of the trial, to a few interactions with tech support to answer some questions, and then making the actual purchase, the process went very smoothly.

I have found that progeCAD is "AutoCAD-like" as described. During my career, I had used AutoCAD from version 2004 to 2015. After retiring, I still use CAD for home and volunteer projects.
Since Autodesk's pricing is not realistic for me, and a different low-cost CAD program was just too cumbersome, I decided to try progeCAD. It has been like getting to know an old friend again.

In summary, the product, download, tech support, and purchase have been very good.

Quick response with helpful insight on CAD options

I have been using Autocadd Civil 3D for years and paying too much. I enjoy the fact that progecad has very similar functions as I am used to. My main function is surveying boundaries and topographic work. I am still in a learning curve with progecad, but I think that I will get there.
