I was over a month late doing the upgrade and was expecting trouble. There weren't any problems. Upgrade process was trouble free with good instructions. Links to upgrade sequences were furnished at every decision point with recommendations affecting my decisions.

I have only used it a little …….. so far

I am traveling now and I wonder if you have a manual in PDF form so I can learn some new features without carrying the weight

Also I have a 12 year old daughter that is interested in learning the program. Do you have a teaching manual for someone her age?

I Love this program. Easy to use, closest to Autocad that I found without the excessive cost. Scott from Progecad has been helpful and answered all my questions before I made my purchase. This is an affordable way to go.

ProgeCAD emulates AutoCAD perfectly. for my work the cost point is perfect, the support to help me navigate has been terrific. I is intuitive and fluid to use. I as able to import my Autocad Plot, print, and font libraries seamlessly. I appreciate the hard work the ProgCad folks have done and the solid reliability of the product. it is way easier to use than bricscad which I tried for several years, too many steps, other CAD program seem to seed my computer with things I don't trust. i trust ProgeCAD and the IntelliCAD groups integrity.

It's the closest program to Autocad, that I have seen.
I started using Autocad with release 12. I'm retired now. Now I just play.

We had issues but they never quit on me.

A great alternative to AutoCad that you doesnt need a subscription for.

Way too confusing. I should have been able too open the version I had click in it somewhere and update so my drawing would follow. Now I have to import into the new version that’s dumb. It’s not cheaper than AutoCad ,with one license you get the windows version and Mac version with AutoCad. With your you have to. It both.

I am having an enjoyable experience with your product.

It’s nice to have CAD program that I don’t have to lease, also it’s so close to AutoCad that I don’t have to relearn everything

I was upgrading to the latest version and the whole process went smoothly.

This is a full AutoCAD program at a fraction of the cost and you own the program - no subscription needed. Can’t say enough about it. Great purchase.

What I like progeCAD so far:
-Very similar software to AutoCAD in comparison to other programs I tried out. BricsCAD is a very close 2nd. The key difference is Bricscad is very difficult to plot, however bricscas doesn't crash as much, or does not crash at all for that matter. bricscad ability to open files from exployer as a seperate running program like autocad is awesome, and a lot more affordable; at roughly $100 a year, it's a major plus.
-progecad ability to snap to hatches is biggest plus
-perpetual license, not like Autocad&others is key

MAJOR DISLIKES
- I was under the impression when I bought progeCAD, I would be able to load it on my pc and laptop, and use it interchangeably (not at the same time) without having to uninstall the program and reinstall it every time I use. (fyi, pc is windows 10 and laptop is winddows 11) considering a refund.
-It crashes everytime I open the file from windows exployer every morning when I start working.
-When I have progeCAD open, I can't open another cad file from windows exployer without bringing the entire file as a block. It's fustrating that I have to open the thru progecad and do a copy and paste with certain blocks from follow up file.
-The mail symbol flashing, on bottom right corner is fustrating. I open it to resolve missing attachments, and the list never goes away or update properly. It would be good that when I detach the jpg, pdf , etc; the list would update to reflectthe change. Resolve Action is still required and won't go away until you close the program and open it again.
-I wish you could uninstall and attach cad, pdf, images from the image manager, or xref manager, instead of opening the Reference Manager to do so.
- Editing any lengthy text, like general notes, is very fustrating. I can't set the indent parameters without making a mess of the text, can't add bullets, etc.
-Other various minor items as well. -RRC

After using AutoCad since the late '80s it is great to use this software. And allowing it to be sold outright vs a annually subscription was a great call. Those are the 2 main reasons I decided to try the software. I am glad I did. Thank you.

Easy conversion from AutoCAD, less the 1 hour and was up and running. Was able to run AutoCAD drawings, no problems. I have recommended ProgeCAD to my clients and family. Great price!
