Good Software and Great Customer Service
Cin7 is a user-friendly software platform that makes day-to-day operations much easier. Their support team is consistently helpful and responds quickly to requests that impact our business. Monika, Javanna, and the wider team have gone above and beyond—helping customise the system to suit our needs and developing complex, tailored reporting. Definitely would recommend.
Cin7 and their lack of support
Cin7's major downfall is the lack of support subscribers (like me) receive. The monthly fees are quite high which would be ok if the fees were matched by effective online support. Unfortunately the reality is the opposite. There is no phone line to call. Instead, you need to lodge a 'ticket' and await a reply. Who knows when that will come and when it does come, it is usually generic troubleshooting instructions pulled directly off their website which you have probably already tried and are not specific to the problem you are experiencing. So you reply to the email and wait again. Another day goes past, meanwhile your business is crippled because Cin7's POS System is offline (as an example). I would not recommend Cin7 to any retailer such as myself. Looking at alternatives as we speak.
Fast and helpful support
I had a great experience with the Cin7 Omni support team, especially Monika Saad. She was very responsive, clear in her communication, and understood exactly what I needed.
I requested a customization to allow searching invoices by customer mobile number, and Monika was able to implement it quickly and smoothly. The whole process was straightforward, and she guided me well throughout.
This new feature has made a big difference to our daily operations, saving time and improving efficiency when assisting customers.
Really appreciate Monika’s support and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Six months into using Cin7, I had a follow‑up meeting with their Solutions Architect, Jean LeMunyon. Jean was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, quickly grasped our issues, and was refreshingly honest where no solution existed. Very useful call to resolve some issues we were having understanding how some processes and features work. Informative, friendly and a great experience dealing with Jean all round.
Disappointed
We contacted Cin7 over a month ago to cancel our account. After calls with three salespeople, onboarding teams, and more, not once did anyone mention that cancellation had to be initiated via a button hidden in our account. As a result, we’ve now been charged another ~$1,000 for a product we never used, on top of the $2–3k we spent initially just to get set up. This lack of transparency in the cancellation process is unacceptable.
Beyond billing, the platform itself fell short of expectations. The B2B portal was not to the standards we required, the POS system felt isolated, and overall the software is starting to feel dated. While Cin7 does have extensive features, that breadth makes training your team a long and costly exercise. Modern systems with AI support and native API integrations (such as Shopify) have made platforms like Cin7 less essential and more of a legacy choice.
Today, clean and constant dataflows between software are paramount. We’ve moved to Shopify as our source of truth, with lightweight app connections that scale quickly, take days to set up instead of months, and ensure data is clean and useful without needing to hire a dozen experts in data analytics or inventory management. It’s possible now to run a truly lean company — Cin7 doesn’t enable that.
In short: Cin7 may suit companies willing to invest heavily in onboarding and ongoing management, but for us it was expensive, outdated, and ultimately the wrong fit.

Stay away from this company for sure!! I’ve never dealt with a company this unprofessional. I cancelled well in advance, yet they still charged me and refused to issue a refund. Instead of fixing their mistake, they hid behind “policy” and sent robotic excuses.

I have just migrated from Cin 7 to another software program. The system always crashes, the service is non existent, there is no development and they want to charge you top dollar for the experience. When I was researching new providers even a rep at Shopify and the IT company I used said they wouldn't recommend Cin7. Then when I wanted to stop my subscription they said I would have to pay an additional month!!!
You will regret using this company, they are all about big price increases and no additional features. There are so many better options out there.
Cin7 is an excellent, well-built software. It just needs to address the persistent slowness and crashes.
My overall experience with Cin7 and recently with Harshit has been fantastic. Harshit went above and beyond to assist us.
I love Cin7 and would highly recommend it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the technical issues over the past year and crashes. However, I'm confident Cin7 is working hard to resolve this problem.
