Well, I am about to launch a project in which I will have a chance to play more with my new toy than I would like to, but by looking at the front page (sort of speak) it would a lot easier to get acquainted with progeCAD for those who are comfortable using AutoCad since 1972, when the whole program was in two floppy disks, not to mention the terrific tutorial available and other nice benefits to the user, can't thank you enough for your development of this great tool!!

i could not find a book or manual to locate the menu and tools to use in the software. So i cannot rate it

I have been unable to load the software on a lap top. I have reported the issue but have not received any feed back.

Fantastic value for a product that is familiar to the users of the world standard CAD software, AutoCAD, that verteran CAD drafters and designers like me can appreciate.

It has everything necessary to get the job done and done professionally.

I especially love not having to pay an obscene amount for a subscription, as AutoCAD and others now require.

My only wish is that it was compatible with DWG files newer than 2018. Time marches on.

ProgeCad has made my drafting so much better. The performance videos really help. great program! I recommend it

I have been using Autocad professionally for many years. Now retired my hobby is design and 3D printing and Progecad (in essence, Autocad with a different name) at a fraction of the cost of Autocad allows me to afford the software I am familiar with. This is a great drafting and 3D design and drawing platform for both mechanical/machine and AEC design and drafting.

Seamless transition from Acad with no subscription !

Been a loyal, loving user of this software for many years and many versions. And every one of them involved kind & courteous help & follow thru. Thank you for being our David to Goliath AutoCAD.

I'm a former CAD teacher, taught AutoCAD for years. Retired now, and truthfully, I haven't used progeCAD a lot. I needed a CAD program and didn't want to learn a program again to do quick jobs for myself. This program is such a comfortable transition and so less expensive. So far, it seems powerful enough and I would highly recommend!! I also taught the Inventor program from AutoCad. I have not looked at the 3D component of progeCAD yet.

I am so happy to have found you! I love the Original AutoCAD, but I don't want to rent it. When Autodesk dropped the perpetual license, I kept using my 2013 version. I was waiting for it to stop working any day. I avoided upgrading to Windows 11 because of that. Realistically, they are changing 10 all the time regardless, so it was bound to happen. I would give your program 6 stars if I could.

Finding a solid drafting program is hard for Land Surveyors..
The learning curve was great!
Purchase and download was seamless.and I was using it fairly well in a few hours of practice.
Good luck with other cad programs.

We are very happy with the program, we are electrical drafters and so far there are no issues. The program does mirror AutoCAD LT for the most part. The price is great but performance is what's important to us.

Same problems I had with autodesk. It worked better before I bought it.

Purchase was easy and very cost efficient compared to competition. I am new to CAD, just played in AutoCAD previously, very similar, just takes time to find the buttons you need! Seems to be lots of short how to videos that really help navigate the program too!

I spent some time reading reviews, forums and watching YouTube videos to find an alternative to my old AutoCAD that was showing it's age. I found ProgeCAD and decided to give it a try and downloaded the trial. I was immediately impressed as it felt familiar and comfortable from the start.
I was able to customize it, use my fonts, custom hatch patterns etc. just like I was used to. The AEC tool set that is included was great for me as I have been using AutoCAD Architecture since the early 2000's and use those same tools in all of my projects. I have used AutoCAD for 25 years and I can say that everything that I can do in AutoCAD, I can do in ProgeCAD and faster. It really is a true alternative at a much better price.
ProgeCAD is a great program at a great price and sold as a perpetual license and not a yearly subscription.
Highly Recommended.
