Thanks for prompt action in renewing and expired policy I'd overlooked

Arran is exceptional. Protek is the go to place for warranties. Outstanding service throughout.

Asked them to send me a copy of the generic Basic Structural Warranty policy which is registered with the builder. They're refusing to send me a basic document without also reissuing the entire warranty certificate and policy documents and having everything transferred first. Asking me for documents which I don't have or to pay a solicitor to send them a basic email. Absolutely ridiculous. A basic policy document shouldn't require this much.

Maisie has been fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we got our initial quotation, to recently extending our site insurance, she has been so helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.if only other companies had such great customer service!

Protek have been highly recommended for their products and competitive prices. We insured with them for the first time last year [which was a struggle in itself], and wanted to renew. As our circumstances have changed, we called customer service to revise our conditions [their online portal is very poor], to be promised a return call from our 'account manager'. No return call. Frustrated, we called a broker and had a fully itemised, competitive quote which we accepted within hours. We would be very reluctant to try Protek again.

Individually, the team were very helpful, and we got there in the end. However, it very much felt like the system and language was focused on building businesses, not self-builds, meaning many delays whilst detailed requirements and outstanding issues were interpreted.

Clair and the Protek team were amazing through our self-build and really made the process as easy as possible for us. I can't recommend them enough if you are doing a self-build. Big thanks to them!

Great customer service experience. Helpful staff members. Prompt in answering queries both telephone and emails. They have provided me with what I needed and signposted me to appropriate agency/body for the other document that I was looking for.

The whole warranty process with Protek has been very disappointing. Protek initially said they would rely on Building control reports to issue the warranty and then changed their mind, asking for extra irrelevant, supplementary, information at a later date that I as the developer couldn't provide. Eventually they withdrew cover. The whole process made them look amateurish and unprofessional.

Protek have made the entire process simple transparent and fast. It has meant that my lack of knowledge was not exposed and I felt the security of having the appropriate insurances in place to safeguard everyone and everything as we progressed.

Very easy to deal with. Good communicators and a reasonable price.

Don't bother using these people, from my experience they will do anything to avoid passing perfectly acceptable stages of work on new build properties that building control pass, it seems they have a game plan to make it as obstructive as possible to resolve non existent issues raised by the surveyors and also use 3rd party surveyors that haven't got a clue at what they're inspecting and don't even have the working/detailed drawings passed to them by Protek, surveyors inspect work at correct stages, give it thumbs up on site and then low and behold an issue is raised several days later by the Protek surveyor link tracker thats emailed over. Will be going back to LABC for future builds, far more professional and qualified surveyors.

Had a deadline for issue of a cover note today, having spoken to Gill and advising that some information had been previously provided, she looked into straight away and resolved the outstanding items enabling her to issue the cover note.

Really appreciate the speed in which this was dealt with, Gill was easy to communicate with responded in a quick and efficient manor, this has enabled me to provide a great service to my client.

As we had to sell our new build home not long after completion we found ourselves with several issues to resolve with our existing warranty. It took some time (not down to Protek) to work through these issues and we cannot thank the Protek team enough for getting us to the point whereby all the issues were resolved by them and our house was sold. We would like to thank Bethany and Jack for all their work on getting the warranty amended etc and special thanks to Nicola who got us over the line! A great team!
