Fast and efficient

Very helpful staff and very efficient. Booked in for MOT.car needed two new tyres they ordered, fitted and I was very pleased with the service.

Booked in for two tyres changed. There is no parking at this garage so I arrived on time and went to pull the car into the garage, I was met by two agreessive hostile tyre fitters shouting telling me to back out. They then asked if I had an appointment, to which I told them I did and then they backed down and pulled my car into the exact space I was moving into. There are no signs saying not for this to happen or where to park. 40 minutes later the tyre fitter came and told me the car was done and nothing about the damage they had done to the rim protectors. As you can see in the photo it has been pulled off in multiple places. They should have atleast told me about this, but clearly were holding a grudge from earlier. They have also failed to do the one basic task of installing a valve cap on the driver side tyre. This use to be a good garage and since the new ownership has plummeted, only use this place if it's a last resort, as you can see by the multiple 1 star reviews.

I can't fault the service, but I booked a 4 wheel alignment, no one informed me that the machine was broken, and I couldn't get the tyres I really wanted as they only offer what's in stock at the moment unlike their main depot at Micheldever which I've used for years

Good customer service, explained clearly the costs which were competitively priced. Work was completed quickly and to a good quality standard with no further issues. I will use Protyre for all my future service and MOT requirements.

I sent this business an enquiry using their contact form through their website on Saturday the 22nd of February. Granted, they were closed as it was Saturday I waited patiently for them to contact me during the working week. I received an automated reply that my enquiry had been received and someone would be in touch. It’s now the 2nd of March and still nothing, clearly they can’t be bothered to get back to potential customers, I won’t be bothering with this business again.

On the plus side, the service mot T tire change aircon regas were completed on time. On the downside, although I had to prepay for the gold service which includes a massive tire inspection routine, this wasn't necessary because I was buying four new tires and having an mot. The previous proprietor of this garage would have voluntarily given me a discount or maybe put the car through the car wash that operates right next to the premises. I also asked explicitly if the spark plugs had been changed and nobody seemed able to answer. Maybe it's time that I accept that this is no longer a family-run business and consequently I'm not going to get the same level of service.

Took 3 visits to this shop for job actually be completed. 1 time only 1 tyre was there out of 4. 2nd time started the job with the front tyres off the car and then said wrong size had been sent out and took 3rd visit to get what a had paid for, not a very good experience tbh.

Great MOT job. Friendly staff. Was able to wait in office until job was done.
