Like many of us older people I have seen a decline in quality and customer service.
Rohan once was my goto for outdoor gear, no longer I am afraid. Everything about Rohan has been affected quite simply by greed. Clothing is not so robust, I have trousers from 30 years ago that are still wearable. My later stuff 3 years at best, flimsy and untrustworthy for the great outdoors.
Prehaps Rohan can pull its socks up, but unfortunately after 12 days mine seem to have disapppear into the ether along with other items.
So Rohan, I've had a relationship with you for 30 years, its now time to get divorced!!....Sadly.

GIFT VOUCHERS ISSUES.

My partner purchased me a £50 gift voucher from the website. Never received the voucher or was able to obtain it (difficult to follow steps on website), despite emails and visiting one of the stores with what we thought was the voucher code, but turned out to be an order number. Despite trying they weren't able to escalate get any assistance for us. Now we're £50 down and despite previously being a fan of the clothing, would never deal with this company again.

Happy to say as a result of my review this has now been rectified. Thank-you Rohan for picking it up.

Premium products with totally awful customer service- I am shocked with the service provided by the Winchester branch dealt with a very unpleasant team member when trying to resolve an issue. Will never trust either the products or the brand again.

I bought a pair of Women's stretch winter bags for my wife. Her measurements are normally a 10, but looking at the size chart she thought an 8 might be better. The 8 arrived and are two inches too big on the waist, and hips, the cr0tch is baggy and would be uncomfortable. She is slim but not tiny. Come on Rohan, get it sorted. They are great quality but the sizing is poor. No 6 available for her to try. We will have to look elswhere.

The Zip on a jacket I had bought a few years ago broke. I returned it to Rohan with a covering letter. Inside a week it was returned to me, repaired and even better than it had been originally. I feel that Rohan exceeded my expectations. Thank You.

I bought a pair of Obōz walking boots from the store in Preston, fantastic quality and perfect fit. I would have been in and out in under 5 minutes, but ended up chatting with the gentleman on duty, who was very helpful and accommodating.

Bought a pair of Rohan trousers as always wanted to try them. Great light material but the pocket zippers catch my fingers and the fastening button was so hard to undo I had to replace the button with a bigger one. For such a high priced product I was amazed at the poor design

Rohan staff were very helpful in the shop, when I needed to replace a pair of well loved Rohan trousers.
I was able to order exactly what I wanted.

Quality clothing as always. Staff at store very knowledgeable and efficient, sounds smarmy but that's the truth!

Rohan after sales service is amazing. I rang Rohan to ask advice about a waterproof walking jacket that I bought for my husband about twenty-five years ago. I had washed it only once and thought it needed to be cleaned and reproofed. I spoke to Tammy. Tammy was very helpful and said the waterproof lining may be disintegrating and it might damage the lining further if I washed it. She suggested that I return the jacket to Rohan where they would inspect it. Tammy sent a bag with return label to us and we returned the jacket to Rohan. It was inspected and Tammy rang us a few days later to let us know that the jacket could not be cleaned and reproofed because the waterproofing was breaking down inside the jacket. She duly returned the jacket to us. All this took only one week, and at no cost at all to us. The cost of cleaning and reproofing would have cost £25.00 which we thought would have been very good value to preserve the life of your jacket.

Very poor design. Bought a Hilltop jacket a few years ago and only recently wore it in rain. Terrible design - the rain rolls down the jacket straight onto your trousers as the material is not stiff enough. The pockets let in water unless zipped up, which isn't practical. Not sure who designed this, but it is not fit for purpose. If you are after well thought out and functional garments, this is not the place to go.

What an absolute pile of rubbish their website is. Spent 15 minutes in the offers section, saw 4 items I was keen on, put them in my basket, not one item was available. Don’t advertise products that aren’t available, rule number one! Amateurs!

I bought a waterproof jacket 2½ years ago and was extremely happy that it kept me totally dry and also provided wind protection.
Recently though, I was out walking in the rain and when I got home discovered I was soaking wet on my back from the neck downwards. There was nothing obvious to me to indicate why.
I know Rohan create clothes to a high spec so I got in touch, more to ask advice, and was more than pleased with the service I received. From the initial, friendly response to my call (a real person from the go), to the explanation of what they could do, to the completion of the matter in a week. This included me posting the jacket to Rohan for inspection (they emailed a pre-paid, returns label), Rohan calling me to say the jacket was at fault and as it was only lightly used they would offer a replacement. Unfortunately that particular jacket was no longer produced so an alternative was suggested or I could choose an e-credit to the amount of my original payment to spend with Rohan.
I went to my local shop (Southport), to see and try on the jacket they were offering me. Again, I had a very helpful and informative experience. After making my decision I called Rohan Customer Care to let them know. My jacket arrived the next day - brilliant.
I was so happy with the whole Customer Care experience with Rohan. I have been a customer for a number of years and will stay so.

Recently ordered a coat from Rohan website. I found the website easy to use and ordering was straightforward. Delivery service was effective and I received my coat on time.
This is the second Brecon coat I’ve purchased because I love my first one so much I wanted another in a different colour! Bring on the British weather - I’m prepared thanks to Rohan!

Have been buying Rohan gear for years, for travel in different climates, and for everyday wear, as the clothes are reliably comfortable, lightweight and wash and dry so easily: Rohan do not smother their products with unsightly branding, so are versatile, and look smart.
However, i feel my favourite clothing company are cutting corners, and the materials are of lesser quality. Not so long ago Rohan offered 100 percent merino wool jumpers and base-layers, whereas the recent 'merino' products contain over 30 percent synthetic fibres.
My main criticism however is that the company have ignored the customers requests to bring back the original boot-cut 'Troggings' and have left us instead with a lower waisted, stretchy jodhpur style which isn't even that fashionable anymore (for those who care about such things), as higher-waisted, wider- leg styles are back again. Rohan offer two leg styles in their 'Flex' jeans so why not in 'Trogging's'. Similar tweaks with the 'Roamer' trousers: Why?
As a result, I haven't bought much Rohan gear recently, (except for travel accessories and back-packs, which remain high quality). I feel they don't listen to loyal customer feedback, and so sadly, have to give only four stars. If they ever bring back the original 'Troggings' i will be among the first to start spending again.

Items late being delivered and then disappeared !!!
