Scrimba has been a valuable resource in both learning and understanding Html5, CSS3, JS and React (courses I took under the Front End Dev path). The lessons are presented as though you are in a classroom setting, with a number of challenges in between to test your understanding of the content, just a teacher would with their students. The lessons are not merely video tutorials, detached from the people that may be watching it. All in all, Scrimba has been a valuable resource in my learning journey.

This is the learning platform I have come across. I feel more confident in coding because of their project-based learning style. I am currently doing the frontend developers path and excited to learn React.

Scrimba is extremely newbie-friendly and helpful to students even the Free Version Courses are so detailed and tailored for beginners. I love that they are not another Tutorial Hell Site. They Prefer Hands-On more. Their Platform is so easy to use and with great functunality. Glad I found Scrimba. Loved it

Scrimba is a amazing resource if you want to learn frontend development. It is also a trusted partner with MDN (Mozilla Developer Network).

I payed for a cource with a high price too always have access. This in now gone and they demand me to pay monthly about 50 bucks... Scam!

Scrimba helped me a lot for developing my coding skills and keep me updated. I am using it for more than one year now. Interactive courses based on wide varity of challenges. It's a great tool for learning new concepts and muscle memory building in your coding journey.

I took the HTML, CSS free course and the JavaScript free course.
I learnt a ton. Compared to other courses such as Team Tree house, Udacity or Codacademy, Scrimba is 100% better. The platform is on point.
The instructor is very knowledgeable, enthusiast and motivate you during all the course(from start to finish). Also, he is able to explain complex concept such as array, for loop, random number for people who struggles to understand code such as myself.
I highly recommend to anyone who wants to start to learn web dev to take those courses. It really gives you an edge to others when it comes to problem resolving.
With all the exercises that he is giving you, you really become someone different after the course.
Some exercises may be difficult to understand but he he is doing his best to help you understand it more easily.
But you have to use your brain if you want to get the most out of these courses.

I really like the way Scrimba approaches the hard learning trough simple interactive video.

First of all, canceling is hard to find. The link is the same color as a text and they do their best to make sure you don't find it easily. Once you do - you have to email them to cancel. I guess a dedicated ''cancel'' button was too hard to code.

The online code editor works for simpler things like CSS and maybe JavaScript, but when it comes to React, you'll be seeing the ''Browser doesn't have access to the error object'' text quite often. Coding React without seeing errors is very stupid.

The courses themselves varie in quality, some shorter ones feel more like Youtube videos.

I wouldn't say that it's a bad platform, it just needs a better way to cancel and 1 year of development to make the code editor better. I'd give it a 3.5, but it's not possible here and 4 is too high.

I cannot believe anyone would rate Scrimba any less that 5 stars, I have learned a lot immensely from Scrimba, especially the FrontEndCareerPath. I think Per Borgen deserves some recognition for putting these together. I am a big fan of Scrimba from Nigeria. If you are ambitious and driven, do not think twice, go for it.

Scrimba is honestly great coming from an experienced programmer just looking to refine some knowledge on certain topics, I can also see how it would be great for beginners as it has a great balance between theory and project based learning. I think it’s important to note that when a product is good it will get less good reviews and more bad reviews as most humans are naturally quite pessimistic, self-centred and struggle to understand different points of view coming from a company that needs to tailor their courses to a majority type of people nothing is ever perfect.

Aside from that scrimba is great and I’ll continue to come back!

I used Scrimba alongside many other online programming learning platforms and I wanted to say that they are really good. It's not only the interactivity to it, they have so many great courses that will give you all the basics for free, and more! So many Master teachers involved... I felt a little like a kid meeting programming Rock Gods! So addictive because it manages not to be annoying and, other platforms are excellent and crucial (and you will probably use many sources on your coding journey like I do) but this one has this pedagogic playful positive touch that can really help you keep at it. Hence the 5 full yellow glowing stars for them from me. I was personally a bit worried at first after reading some comments about the unsubscription way, but it turns out whenever there's anything (you need a break or whatever) they are really nice responsive and very uncomplicated so it's no problem at all to e-mail them a line if you need to, in short, I whole heartedly recommend it.

This path, beginning from HTML, CSS to Advanced React, helps students gain knowledge and coding experience that is necessary to get a developer job. Unlike other online courses Scrimba provides an interactive learning environment which I like very much. You are an active participant in each course by doing challenges, debugging and solo projects. It helped me improve my skills and get a job as a software developer. Also, the price is cheap even though the content is in high quality. I can recommend Scrimba to anyone.

I just finished the Front-End Developer Career Path with Scrimba. I did 11 modules using their Pro Plan, and the 2 React modules while participating in Bootcamp. The course has improved over the last 6 months with many SOLO learning projects added to the curriculum. SOLO projects are key to solidifying learned concepts. The Bootcamp was very helpful with code reviews. Feedback was timely and helpful. Group projects in Bootcamp were awesome opportunities to use Github and work with a team on a project. Without Scrimba, I would still be struggling to learn JavaScript, and for sure would never be able to do React programming. I would recommend Scrimba to any learner looking for interactive learning or for a community to learn and grow with.

These guys built the best platform to for hands-on project base learning. Their platform is so interactive and the community is so supportive. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

I started as a beginner, did not know HTML, CSS, JS which are the building blocks of JS. To my surprise, felt in love with learning so much all because of Scrimba. The in-depth knowledge of the instructors makes things very easy for the learner. If you want to get started in dev, the most user friendly course you can get started with is Scrimba. The biggest difference between Scrimba and other course platforms is that Scrimba has a built-in vscode editor. Why is that?, I always try to catch what teacher is writing on the screen and sometimes this can be impossible and at the end I go back-forth in the video to catch what it is written, but in Scrimba I can pause the video and make changes in teacher's screen thanks to built-in editor. Other than that, I don't have to mention about their perfect teachers.

Scrimba Platform is really different than others professional staff and learning experience its another level so I really suggests Scrimba to everyone who want to learn something in Right Path - 5 Stars from me
