Great communication from all of the team at Seymours

I am a seller. I have just exchanged on a rather stressful sale. Amy Sandys of the Woking branch has been a real star in ensuring the solicitors were prompt and 'on the ball'. I am confident that this particular deal would not have gone through without Amy's persistence and attention to detail.

We contracted Seymours Camberley to sell our property, and then ended up buying through them aswell. Throughout the team were a great help. They were personable and available at all times.
They helped us navigate some challenges and really stepped up to help secure resolutions to some issues that held up our contract exchange and completion.
All in all a great team to work with.

As an overseas home buyer of a semi-detached with an onward chain in Burpham, Guildford who managed to reach the milestone of exchange contracts about 2 weeks ago with the help of local real estate expert - Seymours located at Kingpost Parade, I consider myself a very fortunate buyer who is so grateful to the support and conscientious services rendered by a team of professionals from communicative sales negotiators, responsive administrative staff, and experienced empathetic senior management directors.

Selling your house is a daunting prospect. That said, Seymours was the first choice to guide us through the process.
I met Simon who came across as friendly and really knowledgeable about the local market with many years of experience in this field. The sales guide price was pretty much as expected. The pictures were taken a few days later by Mark who made a great job of the brochure. The whole team at the office were on board with the marketing of the house and, to my surprise, 7 visits were arranged within the first full week. The communication from the office was amazing. Emails arrived detailing every visit booked and there were regular calls with feedback and updates from the office. Overall a great service was provided by the whole team. The house was under offer in no time. Again, the background work carried out at the office, was extremely thorough and they constantly updated us on the situation.
Whilst the wait for completion goes on, the whole team could not have done more to help with the process of selling a house.
With the service received so far, it's no wonder they are the leading agents in the area by far

Every interaction with Seymour’s from the beginning has been superb and incredibly professional.

As far as I am concerned they should not get one star. The owner came and gave a verbal valuation of £310000 - £320,000. Due to certain circumstances he had to send this valuation to another party. This valuation he told me then increased to £362,500-£375000 in his letter to the other party.
Once I was sent a copy of this letter I called this same person from Seymour’s Lightwater for an explanation and why he lied to me. Three times I called and guess what, I never had a call back.
I would not recommend this company.

Seymours Knaphill and Woking have been on a long journey with us. First they valued and marketed our property. A buyer was quickly found. They listened to our buying requirements and shared potential properties to us early and we quickly found somewhere that we fell in love with and made an offer on. The chain broke a couple of times but Seymours pulled it together and nursed us through it. We finally moved 2 days ago. Although Seymours haven't helped with the unpacking ( ;-) ) they gave excellent selling and buting support. Thank you!

Seymours are a switched-on agent who are pro-active in progressing the sale (as in my case). Very good at contacting various parties who may not be reacting as quick as you would like.

What a fantastic experience we have had from Ian , Jeff and Mark from Knaphill branch of Seymours, and Dan from Woking branch, with out their dedication we wouldn’t have sold our home or been able to buy our new home, these chaps are amazing, we would and will always highly recommend them if you are thinking of selling or buying a home .. thank you so much to you all for your support and help , you’re great.

Phone always answered promptly by someone who knew what was going on. Felt that the whole team was trying to help things through. Once they'd got the sale, having Sandra, the client relationship manager, to make sure everything completed was a huge help.

We sold our house in Guildford through Seymours. We had a couple of roadbumps along the way however at each stage we were given practical and sound advice by engaged and enthusiastic staff. The sales progression team especially stood out for us, actively managing the legal progression and getting us to a completion date with no problems.

So many setbacks during my sale yet Seymours were great at keeping things moving. Big thanks to Amy!
