Don’t use this company. I’ve just spent over £1000 on a shed and installation. Apparently they have gone into liquidation and now I’m trying to chase a refund.

Delivery was on time
Delivery was on time, all components were delivered together. One piece of glass was damaged, no trouble, a replacement was delivered within days. Instructions were comprehensive. Simple straightforward construction.

Summerhouse arrived so firstly left…
Summerhouse arrived so firstly left outside while I was at work I returned to find it lying uncovered receipt stuffed under a bit of wood.
Then joiner started building it discovered no glass for windows or doors had to wait until this was delivered then as joiner was building it discovered the veranda was missing. Had to email again yesterday re this they have now said this part will be delivered on 22nd July. I’m really raging about this as I now have to pay the joiner again to come out once this part has been delivered I’m not happy at all as it’s cost me more money to get it built than it should have. I have emailed several times and the company has not even emailed back with an apology I would not order any from this company again. I saved up to get this summer house and it’s cost me so much now to get it built 🤬

Following your email, we contacted you by telephone and understood the initial concerns had been resolved. We subsequently arranged for the missing glazing to be delivered, and once the missing veranda was identified, a remedial order was raised and booked for delivery.

Awful service. No communication.
Delivery set for 3x as long as stated when I ordered.
Did not get delivered on 1st delivery date, there was no contact from the company I had to contact them.
Was rebooked for another 2x weeks later and was not delivered. Again no communication or apology recieved.
Absolutely ridiclious, do not use they do not deserve your custom.

While we appreciate your comments regarding communication, we can see that updates were provided to advise that your order had been delayed due to production and that we would update you further as soon as more information became available. We also processed your cancellation request once this was received via your retailer.

So disappointed
So disappointed. Very cheap material.
The slats are paper thin and on sections are bowed which i have had to fill up with foam to stop pests crawling in.
I have had to put an extra a coat of shed varnish.
The stars are for the delivery driver Robert? Who was very helpful and courteous. Pity the shed hasn't lived up to his standard.
Have posted pictures of the shed on shires website .
BTW forgot to mention that where the panels are nailed to the frame, the panels have been split.
Very poor quality!!

We can't see any photos attached to your review, so we're unable to assess the concerns you've raised. If you'd like us to investigate, please contact our Customer Services team with some images of the areas you're concerned about.
We'd also like to mention that our buildings are supplied with a factory-applied dip treatment to protect the timber during storage and transit. As outlined in our care instructions, a high-quality preservative should be applied as soon as possible after installation and maintained regularly thereafter to validate the warranty and protect the building from the elements.
We appreciate your feedback and hope to hear from you so we can look into this further.

This is a request for a review regarding the product I have already reviewed.
At least this gives me another opportunity to follow up from the companies reply.They stated they had sent out a replacement window panel & when asked for the despatch & delivery details they have not replied.I have contacted my customer,to where the goods would of been sent & tbey have received nothing.So now I am out of pocket by £80, £30 to purchase a new panel ,along with time to go & collect it & also time doubling up & wasted while trying to fit something that was the wrong size

As advised in our previous response, a replacement glazing panel was raised on 3rd July to be dispatched via DHL. We also advised that if this had not been received, to let us know and we would be happy to investigate this further. We have not received any further response from you since our email of 10th July.
If the replacement has still not arrived, please get in touch with our Customer Services team and we'll investigate the dispatch with the courier and work to resolve this as quickly as possible.

I could not log onto the online portal…
I could not log onto the online portal to book my delivery date. Phoned the office on two occasions both days their portal was also down. Third day tried and i got onto book date online. Stating 21st august was the quickest delivery date. Emailed them to ask why, they said due to hot weather delays in sending sheds out. I explained on their webpage it stated delivery by 30th July. Company replied webpage couldn't of been updated! Not good enough and misleading to customers.

We provide our retailers with regular lead time updates, however there can occasionally be a delay before these are reflected on their website. Ordered Bourne log cabin
Ordered Bourne log cabin , 5 - 9 days delivery
then got an email stating it has gone to manufacture and will be delivered 2 months later, Sept 7th , not acceptable , ordered via B & Q , Shire say its B & Q fault for not updating their website , which is strange as Homebase gives the same details , so the incorrect info is obviously coming from Shire themselves , not good as they would have had my £1500 for two months and i had no product !

Unfortunately, your order was cancelled promptly once the incorrect lead time was identified, so no order remained in place while the product was being manufactured. Following your enquiry with us directly, we confirmed that the Bourne 12 x 6 Log Cabin is made to order and advised the current lead time was approximately 9 weeks before any new order was placed.
We understand how frustrating it is when lead time information displayed by a retailer does not match current manufacturing times, and we're continuing to work with our retail partners to ensure this information is updated as quickly as possible.

Shed delivered without the roofing felt
The shed was delivered per order, on 3rd July. Unfortunately the roofing felt was not delivered, and after chasing the company , the felt was sent out last week, but only arrived today (13th). No real apology given. It’s fortunate that the hot weather has kept things dry. We hope to erect the shed in the coming days.

Having looked into this, our records show your order was delivered on 9th July at approximately 2:00pm.
We can also see that when you contacted us on the morning of the delivery, we spoke directly with the courier, who advised us that your order would be delivered before 5:00pm. We passed this information on to you straight away and also advised that, should anything change, the courier would let you know.
As the delivery was completed by one of our courier partners, we don't have access to any direct communication between them and yourself, so we're unable to confirm whether a one-hour courtesy call was made.
We're sorry if the communication from the courier wasn't what you were expecting, and we'll be sure to pass your feedback on.
