Had an issue with windows to potting shed. Resolved so quickly amazing could not fault customer service above and beyond

Very rude driver, arrived much later than delivery slot on the day, windows were not delivered and upon a time being confirmed for delivery days later these have still not arrived with no further details of when I can expect them to be here. Had to chase several times, and still no update.

You get what you pay for. Emneth 13x10 log cabin ordered and arrived. If you're putting this up yourself, strongly recommend a level and flat base...and get yourself some ratchet straps, it's the only way you'll secure the warped and twisted timber they supply, which they'll tell you isn't warranted to be flat or square. Seal and paint everything before you start else you'll invalidate an imaginary warranty and most importantly when it arrives, check to make sure everything is present. Ours arrived on the back of a flatbed and had to be manually unloaded. Store all parts flat and dry else they'll twist and warp more. We were missing door handles and window beading that didn't show up until the last stages, took a couple of attempts for them to correctly arrive. Overall, given what it is it's better than a BillyOh product, but be aware that 19mm thin boards will wobble and flex and their finish is a bit rough, We're pleased with the finished product, it's just a shame that the supply process is a bit painful.

Windows didn’t fit. Supposed to have replacements delivered today!! That’s a joke!! Probably come Monday!!

Do not recommend came in for a job interview completely wasted my time didn’t bother giving me a proper interview just showed me round asked no questions no professional at all AVIOD!!

Most of the wood is twisted and warped out of shape. The summer house doors were not delivered with the main delivery and I am still waiting for a delivery. I have called the customer service team and despite this and sending emails the issue is still not resolved. I have managed to get some parts together after using clamps and other pieces of wood to try and get them lined up.
After two days I decided to contact Shire, sent them photos of the issues I was having and, after numerous calls a manager called me back and asked me to find out all the parts that were unfit for use.
During this process I noticed that the 19mm wooden pieces seemed rather thin. When I have measured them the wooden walls are actually 17mm thick.
I sent another email pointing this out and was advised that this was within normal tolerances. How many people would be happy to pay for a 200g bar of chocolate and receive one weighing less than 180g? It wouldn't be allowed. Let's see what trading standards say then...

Thoughtfully designed, sturdy garden arbour. The sides project well beyond the edge of the comfortably deep seat meaning the arbour can be used in the rain without risk of wet legs ! Opening , glazed windows are also a nice touch. Sadly , one star had to be deducted because of problems that were not totally of Shire’s making. The wrong size of window beading was delivered, and although Shire immediately despatched replacements the courier promptly lost them ! Once again Shire responded straight away and this time the correct item reached me within a few days, but the delay meant I had to recall my builder to finish the job. Overall though , this a good solid addition to my garden and I am delighted with the end result.

Would strongly advise that you do not buy this product.
The cold frame is very badly designed and the customer service from Shire UK was terrible.
The design of the cold frame makes it unsafe and unfit for purpose with the glass overhanging the bottom edge of the wooden roof panel by 12mm or more. This edge is the part of the frame that you would handle to raise the lid. The exposed glass corners are vulnerable to damage and could cause injury. Alterations are necessary by the purchaser to make it safe to use.
In several emails over a period of 2 weeks we were told that the glass does fit and would not overhang if only we sat it on the rebate in the frame. Despite us sending multiple photos and even a dimensioned sketch this was the repeated response. We called and finally the customer service advisor changed tack and told us that the glass was in fact meant to overhang so that the product we had received was totally fine, as designed, and therefore they were not willing to give us a partial refund so that we could alter the frame ourselves to make it serviceable. A lot of time has been wasted with this back and forth which is incredibly frustrating, particularly as this was the time of year when the cold frame should be in peak use.

Good service but shame it was not supplied with new screws to replace the old rusty versions

It was awful to put together bits didn't line up good job I had a carpenter to help still 11 door doesn't shut properly

Order turned up as promised. Good job. One important series of parts missing. This has made completion of building the summer house delayed until part is delivered. Service dept. was very good in responding to my request. Staff were courteous and helpful. Good job.

Bought the Shire Balsam arbour, and we're very pleased with this product.
Delivery was fast and friendly, and the product itself is sturdy & built to last. Would recommend, and would definitely buy from this company again:)

The shed was OK. Easy to build, there was two of us, and instructions were Easy to follow. When built it did move around a bit and the floor bowed when tredding between the lats. I therefore purchased a plywood sheet and reinforced the floor. This solved all the problems. Both bikes fit well in the shed and it feels good and solid. Overall it was a good buy.

Poor quality, customer service not helpful not interested in call back wouldn't recommend.

I have 3 broken pieces and a good panel that looks like a piece of wood is rotted. And they are saying that the broken bits are just like that and even a piece is detached the delivery driver gave me a piece of wood and said this broke off and couldn't tell me where. The delivery was rude and very couldn't be bothered to be careful with a 809 pounds summer house and just roughly chucked it against My house not where it should of been carefully put. And shire are not bothered ive explained I cant look for the broken piece as I have someone coming to build it next week and they keep emailing for pictures and I cant do it as I have a wrist in a brace. But there not bothered. I would never of had this if I knew it was shires also they didn't deliver and I had booked all day off and then couldn't be polite about another delivery was going to say 3 weeks later. But I had this experience 2 years ago with shire shed and if I knew the hampton summerhouse was shire which I bought from Mayfair I wouldnt of bothered noone as any manners and ive been treated disgustingly and im a foster carer. So respect is respect.
