Holkam 6 x 8 greenhouse
My greenhouse was delivered on time and packed securely. I am really happy with the look of it and the large windows mean it is full of light. I didn't have room for a large greenhouse but this still looks really stylish . 2 panes were unfortunately broken but the staff were so lovely and helpful and I received replacements in 2 days.

Good customer service communication.
Good communication for delivery and when a window latch was missing. Poor quality roof felt and nails supplied and despite following instructions the wind blew it away days later. Had to purchase superior felt , nails and adhesive and our experience but they did say I should have waited for replacement, but we didn't want come of the same. Structure good and pleased otherwise.

As noted, we would always recommend contacting us first so we can arrange a replacement, as we’re more than happy to help resolve this quickly. Roofing felt is a consumable item and can be more susceptible to weather conditions, particularly wind, so ensuring it’s secured in suitable conditions is really important.

The shed was delivered on time
The shed was delivered on time, and the driver noticed whilst unloading the lorry, that one piece of the shed was damaged. He contacted the office straight away, and a replacement will be sent to us almost immediately (almost because the Easter Bank Holiday was on the way!!)

I gave it 4 stars as the driver that delivered the shed would not bring it through the back gate. I have had many things delivered that way, but he was adamant he would not.

Lovely shed and brilliant delivery guy and service. So helpful. If anything which is minor when choosing delivery options when putting postal code in it would be better to see more options than the first and only x1. I clicked declined thinking 🤔 it’s going to be later than 17/4 and earlier apt 6/4 appeared so I clicked that as wanted Easter bank hols. Lovely guy on phone at office too.

Really happy with my shed (12 x 8)
Really pleased with this shed. The overall build quality is solid and it feels like it will last well if properly treated and looked after.
I did have an issue with the roofing felt initially as it arrived with a few rips, but once I got in touch with customer services they sorted it quickly and are sending replacement rolls without any hassle.
Can’t fault the support or the shed itself. Good quality, well put together, and I’d definitely recommend.

Ordered shed on Saturday told 10 -12 days for delivery which was fine. Shed arrived 4 days later. Delivered at time booked. Husband had erected the shed 2 days later. Perfect size for garden equipment, good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

The delivery was on time, and the Driver is a credit to your company!
Our last Shire garden shed lasted 27 years!
Hence, we ordered a replacement from you.
This new shed in no way compares to the old one!
The floor and roof are thin particleboard!
When fitting the two floor sections together, it lacks the ability to stay solid! Therefore, I have had to purchase six 47 x 75 mm 1.8 metre beams to give the floor stability. So very disappointed with this product!
This is the first stage of the build! I anticipate more issues as the wall panels are again thin and weak.

I’m sorry however to hear your disappointment with the new building so far. Our current designs do use OSB/engineered boards for floors and roofs, which is standard across the industry and designed to perform once fully installed on a suitable, level base. That said, we do understand your concerns around stability during assembly, particularly at the early stages before the full structure is in place.
If you’re able to share a few photos with us, we’d be more than happy to review the build and offer any guidance or support to ensure everything is installed correctly and performing as it should.

Poor quality potting shed
I ordered the 8x6 Iceni Potting shed to replace my old shed. Whilst delivery was within the expected timescale, the build quality of the shed was awful. The wood was cracked or broken, the cuts were too short, panels were bowed, panels had been written over in areas that would be on show, and locks were incorrectly fitted. There were missing parts and a broken window arm but these were delivered with the first replacement door. Despite 2 replacement doors (one not the correct one and the other again damaged), various pictures sent across to customer services, and adjustments to existing panels, I received an email from the customer service manager saying it was wood and naturally cracked, and that the issues were within their tolerances!! Customer Services said they went to the manufacturing plant and identified issues, assuring me they would check the replacement panels before sending them to me, this didn't happen.
I had a great response from Chloe in the customer service team who tried to help resolve my issues, even looking to refund some of the costs, she was let down by her managers who despite promising to contact me, have never done so, instead sending a less than helpful email after my first complaint, with no further offers of a refunded or repayment for the pieces that had to be purchased to enable the shed to be built. All the reports online show this as a good company with excellent products, my shed certainly fell below my expectations. Having read further recent reviews, it seems like I am not the only one with an issue.

I’m pleased to hear Chloe provided a good level of support throughout, and I appreciate your comments recognising her efforts. I’m sorry however that the overall handling left you feeling let down.
In relation to the points raised, timber is a natural material and can present with characteristics such as splits, markings and variation, which fall within manufacturing tolerances. Where issues arise outside of this, our approach is to resolve these through replacement components, which were arranged in your case.
We do understand the inconvenience caused where replacement items were not suitable on first attempt, and this is not the standard we aim to deliver. However, as the building has been assembled and remains structurally sound, we would continue to support by way of remedial parts where required rather than alternative resolutions.
We’re sorry again that your experience did not meet expectations and we do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Poor quality wood/construction
We bought three Bradenham wooden garages, construction included, all of which have doors that do not fit properly due to the damp, parts of which are warping. Also, all three roofs have planks that have expanded such that they have 'jumped' up, and torn the roofing felt. Although we are aware they are outside the guarantee period, we were surprised this had happened in the damp weather and, when I approached you regarding this, the only real assistance was suggesting how I go about repairing it myself. I think this is unacceptable, not least as I was also advised one of the reasons for the roof problem was poor construction. Furthermore, I feel all of the problems are attributable to poorly-seasoned or unseasoned wood.

From the correspondence we’ve had, the issues described relate to natural timber movement and the way the roof boards have lifted in a specific area. As timber is a natural material, it can expand and contract with changes in moisture and temperature, which can lead to movement such as warping if not fully secured or maintained over time.
Our recommendation was based on resolving the issue effectively, by re-securing the affected boards and reinstating the felt. This is a standard remedial approach for this type of occurrence and is not indicative of a manufacturing defect.
