Having reviewed your order, we can see that the promised delivery date provided by Robert Dyas at the time of purchase was 16th August on the portal. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen production delay after your order was placed, we have had to reschedule your delivery to 24th August.
We completely understand your frustration, particularly as the original lead time was an important factor in your decision to order. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

Waiting for paint to dry
Was delivered on the date requested and was off loaded and stacked neatly beside the house.
Didn't realise the base coat would be patchy, having spoken with customer servicrs they assured us this would dissappear after painting, this has made us rush to get it painted before assembly. resulting in a garden full of painted pieces...
So far it has covered and we cant wait to see it finished.

Received our second garden shed (both purchased from B&Q) of the day, and this experience with Shire was NOTHING like the nightmare experience had with the rude & unfriendly Mercia driver earlier in the day. The delivery driver for Shire, Raimundas, was pleasant, helpful, meticulously careful with every piece of the shed, and made this second shed delivery a real pleasure. It is unchecked but appears of excellent quality, & has glass windows rather than perspex. Unlike Mr Misery from Mercia, he was happy to place the shed on my very easily accessible property. I'd recommend Shire every time, based purely on Raimundas and the visual impact of the Overlap Apex 10 x 6 double door dipped garden shed we purchased.

Terrible decision purchasing from this company. Let down time and time again. Waited 7 weeks for my summer house to be delivered to be told the day before it was meant to arrive that is wasn’t going to be, twice this has happened now, I had to organise help each time as I’m unable to move it on my own, which cost me both times for short notice, both times! Just avoid them they don’t care a less.

Product was 8 weeks late
Product was 8 weeks late, including 3 re-arranged deliveries and when it did finally arrive, they forgot the fixings and instructions for half of the product, resulting in me having to wait another week for delivery. This was a birthday present for a 9 year old and it ruined her birthday. Having waited so patiently for it to arrive and then having to wait even longer. Ridiculous!

16 x 6 shed arrived in a very compact pallet, thought it was too small and missing another pallet...no, all there, instructions, screws, nails, all sizes of wood, panels, hinges. Glass very safely packed away. Very good quality timber, very surprised. Went up a treat. No gaps, no warping. Went up a in an afternoon by 3 of us (2 female) 😁 Very happy indeed. Friend wants one now, can't believe the quality.

I ordered a 10x17ft log cabin from Shire Garden Buildings, and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The first issue was that the delivery arrived one month late, causing unnecessary delays and disruption.
When the cabin finally arrived, we discovered that the floor beams were badly bowed and completely unusable. We were unable to continue building and had no choice but to purchase replacement beams from a local joinery warehouse just to move the project forward. Shire Garden Buildings have refused to reimburse us for these costs, leaving us out of pocket.
As construction progressed, we found even more issues. The windows and doors were badly bowed and did not fit correctly, and there were also missing parts needed to complete the build.
Over two weeks later, we are still no further forward. We are left with a half built cabin while waiting for replacement parts that have still not been sent. Communication from the customer service team has been extremely poor, with no urgency shown and a very unhelpful attitude during both emails and phone calls.
This purchase has cost us over £2,000 for the building itself, plus hundreds more in replacement materials and joinery costs. We have also lost money paying for labour days where nothing could be completed because we were waiting on faulty or missing parts.
I would not recommend Shire Garden Buildings to anyone. The quality of the product and the level of customer service have been unacceptable. A very disappointing experience from beginning to end.

However, we all make mistakes and to your credit, you immediately responded to my message and arranged delivery of the missing parts which arrived today. Total waste of a company
I have given this company 1 star as that is the lowest that I was able to give if I could I would have given minis 5.
This company are a joke (not a funny one) got a delivery date and a tracking number to track my order. On the day of delivery the tracker was showing that my order was to be delivered between 14.00 and 1600 then it was 17.15 -18.15. Then at 18.30 it changed to 19.30. It is now 21.30 and it still has not been delivered. According to the tracker my delivery is 25miles away from my house.
So what is the point in given delivery days and times when this company do no stick to them.
I have taken the day off work to receive my delivery waste of time.
I will never deal with this company every again. Totally waste of my days holiday.

I ordered a gazebo
I ordered a gazebo. It came on time, it was easy to erect. It looks lovely .
The down side was, we had an issue with the base , the company delivered a new one, which turned out to be a roof section. They then delivered the replacement base which turned out to be the original base with same issues. By this time I gave up and just used it.
But it looks nice and I use it a lot.

I was very disappointed with my experience purchasing a shed from this company in the UK.
When I inspected the flat-pack shed, I found numerous issues, including damaged components, warped roof boards, ripped roof felt, missing OSB roof boards, protruding screws and poor workmanship. This was not the condition I expected from a brand-new product.
I contacted customer services and was advised that I could carry out some of the repairs myself on a brand new shed.
After providing photographs and further evidence, the return was eventually accepted.
The return process was frustrating. After several emails and discussions, I placed the shed outside my property for collection. On the agreed collection day, the collection did not take place within the advised time window, causing further inconvenience. The shed was eventually collected.
While I appreciate the return, the overall experience—from the condition of the product to the lengthy returns process—was stressful and disappointing. I hope the company improves its quality control and returns process to prevent other customers having a similar experience.
