Driver was very polite and placed my delivery where i asked. Shed looks very well made but cannot say for sure until it is built. Not a fan of having the sections screwed to angular batons. Prefer strapping its easier to remove.

The shed was delivered later than expected so our tradesman had to book us in for a later date he has arrived to erect the shed and has said to return it as it is so warped I am ringing them to ask for a refund I will get one elsewhere. Not happy at all

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your shed. We have looked into this and, at present, we have no record of receiving any communication from you regarding damage or warping, or any photographs showing the condition of the shed.
The shed was delivered on 13th July, and our records show that you contacted us on 23rd July to request a copy of the assembly instructions. Had we been made aware of any issues with the product, we would of course have been more than happy to look into this and see how we could help.
We’re disappointed to hear that you feel this way, as we always want our customers to have a positive experience. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss the concerns you’ve raised and see if we can assist.

Overall this was a good product
Overall this was a good product, however it should be stressed that the instructions and product part labelling is dependent on interpretation and that a level of ability and access to other tools and equipment will be required to complete the assembly successfully

My mum who was on end of life care…
My mum who was on end of life care wanted to buy my girls a playhouse as her final gift to them, after looking online at many others I decided to purchase from Shire. On ordering I was given 28th April for delivery, that date came and playhouse didn't come so I called Shire who said that it was due to me cancelling the other item I had ordered, an error put a hold on the playhouse delivery. So I was given a date in June more than 5 weeks away, kids were upset but nothing I could do so we just waited, had to explain to my mum that it had been delayed but due soon. Then before delivery was due I received a phonecall saying production was low and I wouldn't have my playhouse until the 21st July, my mum passed away in June. Then upon delivery one of the panels was badly damaged and not fit for use so had to arrange a collection and swap for that one, and upon further inspection another panel was damaged and had to wait a further week for that. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they do not respond to emails and no offer of recompense for any of this has been made.

This delivery was the best I have had for the year. The delivery driver was polite helpful knowledgeable and really a great employee. He should get a pay rise.

so easy to follow the website to see the different sizes and types of shed, once chosen and paid for it was straight forward, a phone call from them to let me know delivery dates are available, I chose the one that suited me best, shed arrived on the day secured on a pallet, driver put it exactly where I wanted it, everything in great condition with comprehensive instruction booklet, sealed bag of all screws and fittings, very pleased I chose Shire Garden Buildings and would recommend them to anyone looking for a shed

Every warranty claim is assessed individually using the information and photographs provided, together with the warranty terms and care requirements supplied with the building. Following a review by our technical team, it was concluded that the required treatment and ongoing maintenance specified within the assembly instructions had not been met, meaning the claim did not fall within the terms of the warranty.
We appreciate this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, but the decision was based on the evidence provided and the conditions of the warranty, rather than being a reflection of your concerns.

Knot hole in side panel, lump in floor panel, uneven particle board for the roof, twisted bearers and coverstrips, felt nails too small and a shortage in the roof fascia makes this a challenging project. Basic carpentry skills needed and plenty of time.

Amazing customer service! Had to put back delivery a few times due to weather and builder and was no issue arranging this….shed arrived safe and very secure and amazed at the quality and finished of it…highly recommend anyone looking for a great shed at a fantastic price….. cannot go wrong with Shire! The after support is terrible.
Purchased via third party in July - on having it installed the carpenter noted 1 door was warped. Emailed the third party straight away - 31 July still waiting for Shire to send out via DHL the "fix" they have provided. Chased many times, apparently they still waiting DHL tracker number. Not buy a shire again and would not recommend

Following our assessment, we arranged to send replacement turn buttons as the initial solution for the warped door. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in the courier providing the tracking information, and we appreciate how frustrating this has been.
We apologise for the delay and appreciate your patience while the replacement parts make their way to you. Once fitted, if the turn buttons do not resolve the issue, we will of course be happy to review the matter further.
You get what you pay for I suppose and…
You get what you pay for I suppose and Shire sold me a reasonably well made, but not solid, summerhouse. The fittings are flimsy and the hinges are not robust. The instructions are good but the final product was not great. It was OK. There were finials missing but were quickly despatched with no fuss. They delivered when they said they would. If you want a fairly cheap but not first class product go to Shire.

Customer service were very friendly and helpful although I never actually received a price or availabilty for the product I needed (Shire Building replacement doors) so had to have the doors repaired by a local carpenter.
