Horrific company. Misleading sales reps who over inflate output and feed in terrific revenue. Be careful they don't fit the panels you order. They fitted the meter in electric box and now I would have to pay to have it moved for a new meter.
Solar edge app always disconnects and they expect you to pay a call out fee everytime even though they said it would be included. Now they hound me multiple times with a private/with held number to get batteries fitted. I've told them everytime to remove me from their database but they just ignore and keep calling.

We were very pleased with the installation. Thee was plenty of communication and very good updates. Would rate 4 maybe 5 stars, however!

When we contacted our electricity supplier, they processed our changes - we had batteries fitted to previously fitted solar panels - and asked us to check to see if one of the readings was showing as a negative value, indicating a possible wiring fault.

The system was new to me so I asked for some help from Solarstyle. That was well over a month ago and, despite several phone calls to them and at least three emails, I'm still waiting for them to contact me.

All I want is to do is find out if there is a fault. We can see where we go from there, but their aftersales service has been very poor so far. Staff sickness was quoted as a reason for a couple of days but, I'm not convinced aftersales is a priority.

Overall it has been a good experience, very professional and helpful company.
Had a few hiccups with the roof part of the installation, which got sorted and we were going to have 14 panels but ended up with 12 due to size of the roof. Would have been 5 stars if not.

I have previously made a complaint about Solar style as they had not installed our panels correctly.
This was eventually sorted however on 1/9/25 I noticed our panels were not producing ANY electricity.So I contacted solar style and they sent out 2 engineers who could not fix the problem.They have said they need to get up onto the roof and check the panels and need scaffolding for this.It is now a full month since our panels(all of them)stopped working and they still do not work.Solar style seem to be in no hurry to fix the panels.It seems I have to chase them with calls and emails.Ive been told 3 times someone would be coming out but never given a date or time

No show. Agreed an appointment time so made sure to plan for that. Solar Style called in morning to confirm time. Sat waiting for an hour, they never showed up, and with no contact made.

First class tradesmen, professional, caring attitude. On completion all information supplied by electrician, Andrew, who assisted with setting up app to enable me to follow the statistics. Highly recommend!

Solarstyle made 2 appointments to fix our battery issue and on both occasions they cancelled with the van broke down excuse .
Despite this I've heard nothing since.
Shocking poor service

Installation was in March 2022. Competitive quote and installation was just a couple of weeks after the quote. On the day of installation the team was running late but carried on well into dusk and finished the following day.

Good post installation support. Received the full documentation a week of so after installation. Problem with one of the fuses resolved efficiently.
In Decembeer 2024 needed a G98 certificate to obtain SEG payments - received this after a couple of days.

The panels have worked with out any other issues and I have found Solar Style courteous and efficient- I would certainly recommend.

The whole experience from initial visit to installation has been a very good experience.Installation team made a first class job keeping us informed throughout.
Although we have had some issues with the dongle (Foxcloud issue) the staff at the office have been very helpful in sorting the issue.
Overall a very good experience.

I was kept informed of progress and visits throughout the order and fitting process.
Appointment times were adhered to.
All trade people, reps and office staff have been polite and helpful.
All in all a good experience.
All systems are working and I am just waiting for paperwork.

The three men who came explained everything they were going to do, got the job done and cleared all rubbish away when finished. Highly recommend.

From start to finish I have been impressed with Solar Style. I engaged five companies as part of my research and only Solar Style (Stuart) visited to discuss our requirements. All five companies provided different options all with very different costs. Over a period of weeks Stuart answered our many questions, some of which we asked a number of times. Stuart showed nothing but respect, kindness, patience and knowledge. At the start of this process we knew the bare basics about solar but through the quality of engagement we learned enough to make an informed decision. The installation Teams were outstanding from scaffolders to electricians to roofers. All work was professionally done, tidy and all cleared up. All workmen were respectful and kind. Unbeknown to us we had a wasp nest on the roof both the scaffolders and roofers offered to deal with it. The system is up and working with no problems. We love it!

It’s 6. Months since my solar batteries were installed. I was very impressed with the installation itself, the job was done quickly and efficiently and I think my garage was left tidier than they found it.
I have just had my first full FIT reading and payment and am delighted with the saving the batteries have made.

The solar panel (10) extension I had installed in September 2024 was done in less than 2 days and is working effectively now! It was installed by excellent professionals!

They did exactly what they promised to do. Arriving on the correct day, at the agreed hour, the whole system even though it was complicated, it was all done, clean and tidy, and left my house at 4pm as promised.

We had two installations by Solarstyle and both went well. However, a failure with part of one of the installations took an age to fix and now it appears that the information given by solar style for the MCS certificate is incorrect. In both cases when trying to contact Solar style I get no response especially via their email.

Only had panels for a few days but so far so good and can see the benefits in our electric bill straight away. Installation was quick and easy, the installation team were great, friendly, informative and left no mess. Stuart our sales man was also informative, has stayed in contact with us and has been very helpful. Would recommend Solar Style Distributions.
