Thorough and professional survey and realistic scheduling and installation plan supplied. a few minor issue at install. one random - and unexplainable - battery alarm since.

I have found SolarStyle a reasonable company to deal with. The original advice, 2 years ago, about our solar panel / battery / car charger installation based on a FoxESS hybrid inverter was sound and the performance is similar to estimates we were given. We did have one or two teething problems but SolarStyle sorted them out satisfactorily. They were prepared to listen to any issues we faced and respond appropriately. Overall we are very pleased with our installation. Cost savings have comfortably exceeded our expectations. Our more recent experience relates to installation of additional home batteries. Again initial teething problems have satisfactorily been dealt with and we are pleased with the installation.

Problems from start to finish.
First the surveyed my property and agreed to put battery in loft.
A week later installers arrived and said battery can’t go in loft. So they wanted to put it outside.
I said not having it outside. So was ready to tell them to leave.
Spoke to office and said about battery can’t go in loft, when installer heard that he said ah it can go in loft.
So I helped them lift into loft.
The real reason they didn’t want to put it in loft was because of weight.
Install went well. Did a good job. I asked what the app was. Installer said the office will email all the details.
Didn’t get any email. Rang office and asked why I hadn’t been shown how to use system and why no app.
Excuse after excuse.
Eventually they told me that their staff weren’t trained to commission the system so had to go through training.
They arranged to send someone else out to commission it. I waited in all day and no show.
He phone me the following night saying he was supposed to be out yesterday but was out the night before and felt rough.
Very professional.
I was phoning the office every day to find out what was happening and just got different answers from different staff. No straight answer and no resolution.
I asked to speak to a manager, so got the accounts manager to ring. To be fair he was the best one out of the lot.
I envoked section 75 of credit card agreement.
Eventually after 4.5 weeks my system got commissioned by the original installer. I asked why they hadn’t informed me before install that no one was trained to commission it and he said it wasn’t his place to say that. So clearly said nothing. Deceived by them all.
Still never been shown how to use it.
So unfortunately I would not recommend solar Style Distributions as my experience was absolutely terrible.
Lots had got experiences.
But I didn’t.

I have found my Solarstyle Solar panel installation a total waste of time and money. The system has never worked since installation in July 2023, constant calls to Solarstyle have changed nothing. I have a letter from them dated 16th August 2024 promising resolution in 28 days, I have another letter received, undated, mid September promising a fix or replacement within 6 weeks. It’s now nearly December and we still have no resolution. The system alert status shows both batteries and converter are off-line so the solar panels are just keeping my roof warm.

Firstly, the Rep was great. We had panels long before batteries.
Since having the batteries as well our electricity bills are much lower.

So yes, batteries are well worth the money.

Upgraded our 16 Solar panel system to include batteries, a new inverter and a regulator. The installation was straight forward and fairly quick. Over the spring and summer we offset most of the electric used and still easily get at least the same feed in tariff amount. Very happy.

I recently had some problems with my FIT and OVO.
They were asking me to do all sorts before they would release my payment.
I needed to contact my installer and was very lucky to find Kerrie!
I was given excellent support as well as having someone who was happy to take up my case with OVO.
As a result it appears it’s was all OVO’s fault!!
But Kerrie was there to help from start to finish!!
It was very much appreciated!! ☺️

More than happy with the service from Solar Style Distributions from James the sales advisor, the guys that fitted the panels and storage, to admin staff. Once we were up and connected over the summer months we have run the house, uploaded to the Grid, made enough money to cover our bills and made a little extra.

I reported a problem with my solar panels on August 6 and I am still waiting for solar style to come out and fix the problem. We have now gone right through the Summer with no solar generation.Very poor customer service.

I had solar panels installed in February 2024. The installation went well. Had a little problem with the way they had to be contacted to my meter. Installation team were very friendly and professional left my place clean and tidy.
I felt I had to chase the administration staff for paper.

i have been dealing with Kerrie over the past couple of weeks with a problem with some solar panels that did not seem to be working. Instead of charging us to come out and look at them she gave me advice that saved us a lot of time, worry and money. I would not hesitate recommending this company to any of my friends and family.

We had 14 Solar panels fitted in 2018 by Solar Style, which we found that they weren't as beneficial as We'd hoped regarding the FIT payments and very little difference on our electricity bills, But in January this year we had Battery storage units fitted again by Solar Style, plus we changed our Electricity supplier over to Octopus intelligent go, because we all so have a EV car and Wow with all 3 changes eg. panels batteries and a smart tarff all working together our Bills are less than half the price we used to pay, the work carried out was excellent from start to finish and everything was explained on how the App works etc, So all in all I'm a very happy chappie now and would highly recommend this company and their products and workmanship.

everything went very well from coming in doing the wiring and cleaning up.and a gntleman named Stu helped me thorough right up to getting my import/export tariff set up

I'm told that everything went well with installation, but when no export tariff is being paid (it never got registered), and numerous phone calls get cut off after a 15 minute wait (whatever option chosen) so you can't actually speak to anyone to ask for the MCS Certificate that the supplier needs either....I'm not surprised that my vulnerable mum is beside herself. Unfortunately I don't seem to have any more luck than her!

We had solar panels already installed, but then Solarstyle fitted 2batteries. The men were efficient,polite and helpful and the batteries are very neat. I can check the savings with the app on my mobile phone which is great. The batteries have helped with the electric use and we have saved money every quarter. Can reccommend getting batteries and all the staff are helpful.
