We have had this system installed for just over a year.
The installation team were great, minimal disruption and a very tidy installation. The system worked great and we saw an immediate saving in electricity cost. We then decided to add to the system with 4 additional panels and an extra battery pack. We are now regularly exporting power back to the grid, also charging overnight at off peak rate, Costs have bees slashed, Very pleased with the whole experience. power costs are now minimal during summer and much reduced in winter,

Throughout the sales and installation process, which was very smooth I was reassured that Solarstyle would be "with me for the journey". They were friendly and pleasant to deal with. After installation I found that this was a false promise - the call for payment came before the waft of exhaust fumes had dissipated and despite several calls and emails I have had no effective response to the issues with my battery installation which as far as I can see leaves me charging them up at any rate and potentially exporting to the grid at a loss when I should be charging them at the cheapest rate and using this energy myself at peak times. Not good on a £5K investment

Their plan appears to be to tell me they will be in contact then just forget about it. I've been promised a call back several times and nothing ever happens.
They weren't the cheapest and they're certainly not the best. I regret making a purchase from them but at least I won't make the same mistake when I buy my solar panels

I had an issue with Octopus energy trying to connect the solar panel data to enable export of energy. Solarstyle persevered with the unusual information requested from the energy provider. They did not give up until they resolved the issue and dealt with the energy provider direct for me to aid communication. All sorted professionally. a massive thank you to Kerrie in particular

I inherited a solar panel system which was quite a challenge to get to grips with but Kerrie from customer services was so helpful in explaining the transfer process and was with me every step of the way.
Being that I am a little age challenged I was so grateful for the assistance. They helped me to register the change of ownership and the tariff registration. Very reassuring,

I had solar panels and batteries installed late last year. The installation Team were pleasant, professional and hard working. Roofers were working after dark to ensure the house was protected from the inevitable rain. The electricians returned Saturday morning to complete their work and the roofers after the weekend to complete the slating of the roof. This was my second experience of using Solar Style for solar pv.

The installation was speedy and efficient with no issues. Post installation customer service was courteous and very helpful. 8 months down the line we have encountered no issues at all. Would highly recommend to anyone considering solar panels and batteries.

The installation team turned up for work on time, worked well and efficiently through the day and before they left they tidied up after themselves.
The products appear to be excellent quality and reasonably priced.
No issues up to now (8 months after installation).
Would recommend to anyone.

Our experience has been great regarding the solar panels and how they work . However, the people who installed, damaged one of our garden tiles due to the scaffolding otherwise I would have give 5 stars. Can’t remember the exact date of installation but area was TS6

Initially impressed but now on 10th November 2024 I’m very disappointed in the ‘after care’.
(A.) MY 1st 5⭐️TRUSTPILOT RIVIEW on 6th June 2024 said:
Initial contact was a cold call. However, I had recently had quotes from other companies and happy to book in a quote.
Neil was very knowledgeable, helpful and informative when he came to quote and answered our questions clearly.
2 weeks on from that initial appointment, we now have 8 x solar panels, inverter and 2 x batteries installed and everything was completed before 1pm - including putting up the scaffolding!
Everyone on site was polite and courteous and they all patiently went through everything to explain what they had done and how everything had been installed (backed up with photographs they had taken). We went through the app and all seems to be running very smoothly.
My house was left lovely and tidy - even the carpet which was lifted has been put back as found!
What an amazing company and team. Thank you for such a good experience!
(B.) HOWEVER NOW ON 10th NOV 2024 my updated review is now only a 1⭐️ as the after care in non-existent. I’ve had 2 issues:
(1.) About a 14 days after install. Scarily with the IBoost not cutting out and over heating the scalding water to boiling water leaking from cylinder and through the ceiling. This turned out to be the thermostat on the water cylinder which was not a SSD issue but it took too long for Installations and After Care to react. Only when I spoke to Gordon, did anything happen and IBoost disconnected. To date, no new thermostat or IBoost reconnected. I’m tired of chasing.
(2.) 22nd July noticed damp patch in bathroom ceiling above window. Just had first downpour since instal and notified Gordon we may have an issue with a leaking solar panel. I’d monitor. 23rd September 2024, another heavy downpour with actual water dripping from wet patch in ceiling. Photos taken, notified Gordon and photos forwarded to Annser who forwarded them to ‘management’ and ‘Fitters’. To date no update (we are a 3 storey house which is probably not in my favour). Maybe I should get onto my House Insurance and get them to sort it out with SSD?…
Like I said earlier, so disappointed and disillusioned after what was such a positive and professional start. They just seem to be so busy on installations and don’t appear to have anything set up for after care and a Customer Services team to handle it. Pity.

Short time between getting the offer and putting the sistem on.
Fair prices and fast instalation.
No problems since the instalation.
Clean and professional work.
Big saving on utility bill.
Highly recommended.

We needed a new inverter and the representative of the company came to g check and advise. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Patient in explaining about batteries to gain the best experience of using with solar panels. We trusted and went with Stuart’s advise and after the installation today we could already see benefits after three hours never mind three weeks.
It hasn’t stopped there as we have started to move our supplier to move to a more beneficial tariff in the next couple of weeks.
Installation today was carried out by electricians and an installation supervisor.
Pleasant and polite team. Courteous of our home and hard working.
Immaculate on installation left very tidy.
Stayed to make sure everything was running correctly after one member of the team installed an app so we can watch battery life on our system.
We are delighted with the service with everyone we have had to deal with as no one could have been better todate.
Long may it continue and would recommend.

As the treasurer of our Village Hall January 2023 asked Stuart to quote us for 11Kw solar array with 2 inverters (due to us using 2 of the 3 phases we have coming into our building) and 2x 5 Kw storage batteries. Once we secured funding we had them installed in a day in July, unfortunately 1 of the 2 inverters failed after a few days operation. Over the months Solarstyle sent their own engineers then the manufacturer finally sent 2 engineers from China, unfortunately again after a few days operation the same inverter failed, remote and Solarstyle engineers got it to run again for a few days. We then agreed to have the inverters and batteries replaced with Fox units in January 2024, both work perfectly and have exported 440Kw to grid in 4 months, previously we only generated 40Kw between July and January.
Totally happy to recommend Solarstyle, they stand by their customer even when things go wrong

The engineers arrived on time were very pleasant and worked hard to get the job done within the timescale. They were very tidy and took time to explain everything when the instalation was done leaving us the information to read through. No hassle & very good, tidy workers.

Everything great - the whole job was efficient and ran like clockwork - - the installation was all completed in one day including the scaffolding. 12 solar panels and 3 static storage batteries (7.5Kw)

Solar style UK installed our solar panels 5 years ago and we were happy with the service they provided so when we decided to install the battery pack we had no hesitation in going back to them for a quote and subsequent installation. I am considering increasing the battery storage capacity and will probably use them again. I think that says everything you need to know about the company.

Had a cold call at the door to get a solar battery fitted, which we were thinking about anyway to go along with our panels fitted quite a few years ago by Solar Style and as the service was great back then, our decision was made that they would fit the battery, all brilliant guys with the fitting and linking it to our phones to see what the battery is doing, all done with in one day! Only delay that held us up was waiting for the Northern Power Grid to give us the G98 confirmation, to send our details off to our Energy Supplier otherwise, the first meter reading has only just gone in, I've read the wrong meter, I didn't realise I had to read the Smart Meter not the Battery Meter! After lots of 'googling' hopefully they have now got the picture showing the reading! But I am assured by Gloria who called me today, that if I need any help, I can give them a call, brilliant service!

Hard to fault from start to finish.

Fantastic service, the guy that came to the house knew everything and explained how they work to save you energy. The company gave us a great deal on the panels and the electricians and roofers were very efficient and quick all fitted in a day. Now I'm saving loads on my energy bills. Just wish I'd done it sooner.

Very good company, they came on two separate occasions. First to fit the solar panels then to fit the battery. They were clean and efficient as the job was carried out. I would certainly recommend this company. Even when I phoned with a problem the after service was excellent too.
