SoundBetter Reviews

Soundbetter is a cool place for me, fun, nice work, connections... I'm always happy to receive a new work mail notice!!

had an incredibly frustrating experience working with producer Robert L. Smith. I hired him to take my original demo and elevate it using world-class session players, explicitly instructing him to keep the core structure of the song intact. Instead, he completely ignored my directions. He refused to follow the brief every time I brought it up, and to make matters worse, he lied about using real session musicians when he actually just used programmed instruments. When I reached out to SoundBetter about the issue, they told me they would look into things, but they completely ignored me and never got back to me. If you are looking for a producer who listens to your vision or a platform that supports its users when things go wrong, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Excellent platform for professional musicians""My experience with SoundBetter has been outstanding. As a session musician and transcriber, the platform provides a highly secure and professional environment to connect with international clients. The escrow payment system works flawlessly, ensuring peace of mind before starting any project. The communication tools are smooth, and the entire process from receiving a client's audio file to delivering the final work is completely frictionless. It is truly the best space for independent music professionals to grow their business safely.

The intention is good, but I found the website very difficult to maneuver. In particular, I was never sure if a message was actually sent after the first one. Sometimes vocalist would not respond responded immediately and perhaps they did receive a text, but I was never sure and it was frustrating. Sometimes this happened even after I was in a conversation. A notification on follow up messages that XXX received your text would be helpful.

This is probably my error, but I never saw my job in the job section and I don’t know the purpose of that page.

SoundBetter certainly earned its name when they delivered our song with the powerful vocals of Christian Erik and the musical/production talents of Lewis Richards. This is a premier company with incredibly talented folks as part of its ranks.--Larry Holden

From start to finish it was a great experience. I would recommend to everyone needing their services

Great way for studio musicians to connect with artists who need tracks and production! Just had my first client and everything went great!

My son is working with Lisa C and it went great just what we were looking for to help him advance his music career. She is very thoughtful and insightful as well as patient and understanding. This was our first experience with SoundBetter and it was outstanding.

Great service, easy and proffesional

I wrote a song and didn’t know where to begin to find studio musicians to bring it to life. I searched and found Soundbetter. At first viewing all the profiles and styles of musicians was a little overwhelming, after all I am not a musician. After listening to a few and carefully reading profiles, I chose Joel. He was truly collaborative and extremely talented and creative. He really listened to my “vision” for the song and I felt like he really understood my point of view. He brought the song to life just the way I had imagined and I know it will be something that is treasured. I felt like I was given personal attention and that how I felt really mattered. I’m sure the musicians are wonderful but I am so happy to have chosen Joel. He’s amazing!

Holy shit this sounds ass, Never buy from here. Took 3 days, i could do better in 15 minutes.

How the hell is this business still up and running? It is a literal scam-show. A race to the bottom. I have only ever been fully fully ripped off by producers and mix engineers on here. They'll commit to a project and then completely underdeliver or take 10+ weeks to make a first pass at a mix. They take your money up front and then do absolutely nothing. Read reddit, there is, again, endless reports of similar happening to people. Do NOT believe the 4.6 rating on here. Please please avoid it at all costs. Do your research and find local or reputable producers.

SoundBetter helped me book a gig with ease! It’s a great platform to grow your music career.

Great experience! I worked with Gerard Hairston, who was outstanding. See my five-star review for Gerard. Great platform - seamless communication portal. Highly recommend

Just a great and easy to understand experience well done

This was a very simple and clear process and made our workload very usable. We definitely use again

This was my first time using the website, and I found it relatively easy to navigate and get straight to what I needed. I would have liked the option to pay directly by credit card rather than having to use PayPal.

What made this experience great was purely John kennedy. I approached him about recording my 1st song and while I had a pretty tight budget he was willing to go the extra mile to get it done amd done right. It was nerve wrecking at times because I just dont know or understand the process since this was my 1st song. But John did a great job explaining things to me and walking through the things that needed to be done. Just awesome!

I've had a genuinely excellent experience with SoundBetter. The platform is easy to use, communication with clients has always been straightforward, and the whole process feels professional from start to finish.

As a session musician, I've had the opportunity to work with talented artists and producers from around the world, and every project has run smoothly. The review system, secure payments and overall user experience give both clients and musicians confidence throughout the process.

It's become an important part of my work, and I'd happily recommend it to any professional musician or producer looking to collaborate remotely.

I'm as green as it gets when it comes to songwriting and the whole process came to me out of the blue. So, when I would write, I had no idea on how to go about turning my lyrics into music or even where to turn to get it done. This site makes the process easy, fun and very rewarding.
